I find it humorous that dying ratings giants like CNN and MSNBC, which couldn't attract ants to a picnic, stubbornly refuse the high ratings that the task force briefings generate each day. It's as if these networks desire failure more than anything. Fewer and fewer people subject themselves to these lib networks already - and they believe refusing to cover highly rated briefings by the President is somehow smart business. They make idiots look smart.

Glad to see the WH is finally telling CNN to piss or get off the pot

what good are standards, if you are the only ones to follow them? Standing on ceremony only goes so far. Cheat, win, gain supermajorities, pass voter ID laws... end cheating. Means to an end. Or hold to your dear standard while thieves steal the meaning behind the republic...and wipe out ever again your right to vote or have a say. You wouldn't even have TDW if the throat-grabbers ever regain power.

I speak Biden. I took it in college. Here's what he said, for the unitiated:

"If you don't know ... look man, there's always this thing...the thing where... people know about it, and I've seen them know about it, but not this Administration... where this President is, is, is, has... he's done.... look, it's pretty clear to everybody, which is why he's failing and that's why I can't win.... see myself... winning is up to Donald Trump, and relecting him... people will do that. You'll see. And why my team is so confident, but.... I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't have said that. Thanks for having me on your show Claude"

Here, here. If cheating is the new normal, let Conservatives be the best f*cking chearters on God's green earth. Let us put cheating Dems to shame with our cheating efficiency. Let us make double-voting and triple-voting into an art form, across all 50 states. If the rules are to cheat, let's use the rules to their fullest extent and maximize the benefit to conservatives and MAGA. No more standing on ceremony about "following the rules" - if the rules we have followed to now have brought us losing to cheats, of what use are those rules? Time to adapt...

Yeah, defective medical equipment is on its way here. The same crap the Spaniards sent back last week because it failed 80% of the time. Screw China and the Imperialist fuc*wads.

When does market-based pricing become price gouging? Serious question. If we believe in paying/charging what the market will bear, it isn't gouging. It's only gouging if the price of the item was jacked up from a previous lower level to exploit would-be buyers at the time of crisis. Like Big Oil does when there's a pricing war, or during the summer vacations months, or ... you get the idea.

It's a fine line between paying market-forces pricing and running roughshod over consumers. Which is why free-market competition always is the salve

"worked Hill contacts to get them into the spending Bill" translates to "we paid off the Congress weasels to fork over money while still allowing us to fire employees." Dollars to dimes that's what Kennddy Ctr bigwigs did

Joe Biden had brain damage seven years ago? And he's the best offer the Dems can field after 3-plus years of unmitigated Trump hate and resistance wailing. I'm not sure I even know how to process this. Calling him "slow Joe" is an overstatement - he isn't fast enough on the draw to meet the definition of slow. Morbidly deliberate is a better description.

I once loved a woman named Clora Quinn. Her brother was a rapper, named Z Pac. They had nothing in common, but when combining their innumerable talents, all the world could breathe a little easier.

I saw what you did there. The dims will be do busy trying to save face. Trump won't give them any breating room, putting them on life support. A spoonful of Trump will help them medicine go down.

As Reagan once said when lib journalists feigned moral outrage over the size of the ballooning deficit: "The deficit is big enough to take care of itself."

Translation: the govt money supply by the Fed is an unconstitutional circumvention of the prohibition on Congress against coining money. Therefore the size of the deficit is the least of our concerns, as long as the Fed Reserve and Treasury own their own printing press. The dollar contains only the value imputed to it - and we can manipulate its value like other nations (esp. China).

Paying the deficit down is a paper chase. It will never happen. But now would be a grand time to hammer China to forgive all U.S. debt - since it spawned the China Virus. Hopefully, when this "crisis" passes, POTUSDJT will insist on debt forgiveness as a condition of any phase 2 China trade deal. Cancel any T bills China owns and zero them out - make them worthless paper in the hands of the China commies. Leave them with what communism always produces: Nothing.

I've got an idea: delete your FB acct, lose the username and password, and spend more time here. Arguing with low-info morons on FB is like flyfishing without a cast.

Technically the insider rules are forbidden by Congress, but the Stock Act has loopholes that allow lawmakers to dump stock with inside info. Don't you or I do it thought, we'd face charges.

2
throwrightt [S] 2 points ago

bingo. This is a nonstory because Congress gets to trade with inside info. Just don't you or I do it.

Aside from being stupidly unaware, Rubin doesn't understand proper use of compound adjectives. And she's supposedly a columnist? It should be "fewer Democrat deaths"

One of the first things Trump should do is to shut down the stock exchanges. Stem the damage. It's only getting worse the longer it stays open.

So this twitwad actually believes we X and Y chromosomes stem from evolution. How is that possible if gender is a "social construct" and you can choose a different one every day. Chromosomes are racist - I though everyone knew that, even twitwad

Given the shitstained SF streets, staying indoors is always a wise policy, even when there is no threat of a contagious virus.
