Taking the compromised IP angle sounds more like his IP showed up in logs on child porn servers seized or otherwise monitored by the Feds...
But they will share the same global IP. Local IPs don't go beyond your network router.
A forensic examination of the router would show what Local IP addresses / MAC Address were connected but from the outside any device on the WiFi network will appear as the same IP address.
I think the biggest takeaway from this is that Iran had been coddled so much by the Obama administration that they've become so arrogant as to land their top general at the public Baghdad airport and drive around only a mile away from our embassy like they own the place. This strike is a huge wake up call to them that the dynamic has changed substantially.
