Considering all of these businesses that were hurt from Covid, they want looters to come. Now they have an insurance claim, and a bailout to boost their balance sheet and write off. Insurance companies will lobby for POTUS to declare a federal emergency so they are off the hook on paying and we get the bill

Yep. And the two sisters just realized real world consequences. I don't feel bad for them at all. Screw them for making others feel unsafe in their own homes. All of these sheltered kids that think they understand and know everything because they've seen a video or read a story online. Time for these people to get a life and unplug for a while

Why did this take so long to do? Those scumbags symbolize everything non-American

He's in a tough spot because if he abandons twitter for an alternative, MSM will just say he's weak and can't take criticism. I think he should use another platform anyway. And going forward, tweet to people on twitter like children and keep the talk straight on the other platform. People will eventually see twitter as the useless twats they are and want the truth, and switch over.

Guy still has a point though. Any comments I made criticizing Elon were downvoted with nothing said to counter the comment.

Would social media sites still have this protection if there was evidence of collusion to silence? Anytime a free-speech platform, e.g. Gab, comes under fire, hosts and service providers drop them.

A buddy of mine went to China to teach. He had to disclose his online accounts. One was a blog I was hosting for him. Ever since he's disclosed it, I noticed a huge uptick in scripted probes targetting software vulnerabilities: wordpress, shopping carts, .env files. It's nuts.

Should have just quarantined the tri-state and suspended travel into the country and spare everyone else

How the author was able to write a damn epic over nothing is remarkable. Why is this even on here?

I think this adds to the whole notion of a "silent majority". A lot of propoganda outlets paint Trump supporters as some aging, white, rural dwellers. If this ranking run to the top continues expect liberals to attack Alexa for being racists...then Alexa will have to tweak their algorithm

I don't live in an area where large corporations have a grip over people. If that's the scenario people are dealing with, that sucks. But consumers still have the power and if consumers collectively boycott a company, the company either adjusts or goes out of business. My argument is to let free markets solve this, and not government via fines, etc.

Some businesses in beach communities require people to wear shirts before entering. If you don't want to, you don't go there or they won't serve you. I agree with not giving the gov't an inch because they will impose fines for not wearing masks: that's a rights issue. We lost our rights to M.A.D.D. and Osama already. Covid will be another opportunity for political czar's to further strip our rights which is why the free market needs to solve this, not gov't

Nothing I said was "insane bullshit".

  1. If a business wants to refuse you service for not wearing a mask, they can.
  2. If the gov't tries to enforce fines for people refusing to wear masks, fuck the gov't. If this is insane batshit, nothing you said jad a better argument

I honestly don't get this anti-mask sentiment. We wear seat belts in cars, helmets on bikes, etc. If you don't want to wear one, it's fine, but it will also be fine for businesses not to serve you or allow you in. Eventually the virus fades away and the masks do too. But fuck government for trying to penalize people for having the choice. Let the free market decide
