An investment that has paid dividends better than most would ever know. The character and inner strength are two dividends right off the top of my head. Thanks. I've hit a lot of curves, bad roads and hills but the roller coaster has to get to the bottom before I can climb to the top again. Huge shout out to the Easter Seals! A lot of people don't know this, I didn't, but they have incredible Veteran Services including counseling, legal pro bono advice, food pantries, job counseling, life coaching and lots more. Without them I would be celebrating Christmas with my dog and girlfriend on the other side. Seriously, any Veteran who needs a little, or a lot, of non judgmental assistance getting through an emotional crisis I can't recommend them highly enough. Or if you need, you can always contact me and I'll try to talk you off the ledge or help you get the help you need.

The best dog in the world, my sweet boy, died on Christmas two years ago. My life partner of 24 years died last year. Both of them are snuggled up in bed with me right now. My sweet boy's ashes are on my chest in a velvet bag and my girlfriend's ashes are by my side.
I lost my job on December 2nd without notice, severance pay and last two paychecks not given to me. Taking the owner to court takes time. I filed for unemployment right away, which hasn't started to come to me yet. I had allergies and sneezed so hard my partial broke, flew out of my mouth and smashed. The day I was fired I was eating the only food I had in the house - weeks old bag of pork rinds - and snapped off another tooth. I've been suffering from vertigo (from having Lyme disease years ago), COPD, ADHD and depression. No (tagged/insured) vehicle so I'm walking all over to try to get life back on track. No money but was able to pawn some things and take a loan on GF's jewelry I had bought her. End of back story.
Today I'm terribly missing my family but they're with me in mind and spirit. I'm a veteran and soldiering on. Getting fired was probably the best thing that happened to me because I'm finally taking care of myself. I (almost, 1 - 2 a day) quit smoking. I got 8 teeth pulled last week, broken off roots pulled out, some teeth were cut out of my jaw. I'm in a lot of pain but can't tell you how happy I am that in two weeks I'll be able to smile again with my new teeth. I've had several trips to my local VA hospital and getting medicated plus a BiPAP machine so I can breathe again. I begrudgingly signed up for food stamps. My unemployment insurance money will start next week. I'll get my GF's jewelry out of hock, tag/insure my chopper (much cheaper than my car). Pay for my new chompers. Hit the bricks to find a new job.

I'm still a registered Dem and intend to stay that way (to keep an eye on the opposition) . I'll NEVER actually vote for another democrat for the rest of my life though I'll almost assuredly vote democratic after I'm dead. It was indeed a strange journey, almost like waking up out of a coma but dragging my fingernails to stay asleep. I absolutely did NOT want to see the light. As a veteran I knew there wasn't any chance I could vote for Hillary. So, in a roundabout way - thank you Hillary for showing me the way! I signed up on /r/the_donald as a joke, to see what the "enemy" was plotting. Almost immediately I got slapped in the face with the reality I wasn't ready for. I've worked in each of these countries. Also, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Belarus, Georgia, Macedonia, Bosnia, Serbia... and others in the region. I can say, with some authority, based on personal experience and interaction, there is NO way these countries will be cucked. They are (mostly) very friendly and welcoming countries but a good way to describe would be "one hand extended to shake your hand and one hand resting on the handle of their sword". I'd even suggest that they'd go to war before allowing a migrant invasion to be forced onto them. Very based.
