Everyone and no one is allowed to be hated on by this idiotic new Reddit rule. For instance, in an African city where white people are minority, they could now hate on blacks. Reddit is now full-blown racist.

It was on his very first campaign web site, somewhere under Missions/ Goals/ Plans, or whatever that section was called. I had actually read through that site, and made a mental note about the curious increasing of troop strength in Afghanistan they had put down there. Maybe it's still up on Archive.org somewhere if you want to check for yourself, myself I saw it first-hand.

Obama's first campaign actually proclaimed he wanted to increase troop strength in Afghanistan. It wasn't touted in his speeches or anything, but still printed in the campaign overview for all to read.

As the article says, Google gave a statement that they want to fix it. Maybe they already did.

Since his writer team probably wants to avoid any "He can't remember" memes, maybe they're going for an aggressive "I remember exactly, and nothing happened". Will they put his wife next to him like during Bill Clinton's interview?

She may not be dumb in all regards, but she greenlit the campaign slogan "Love Trumps Hate", which from a persuasion point of view is one of the dumbest slogans the world ever saw. It was only recently surpassed by "No Malarkey"...

They said the borders with Italy, not "to". They now changed their article to "cutting travel ties" and issued a correction note at the end.

Mossadegh was largely representing secularity (separation of state and religion), and he was fucking overthrown by the US & UK. Geopolitically the US doesn't give a rat's ass about a country's religion, as long as it can secure strategic interests like oil. So how about we get out of the Middle East and stop creating power vacuums like with the Iraq invasion? If you believe people there will then go for religious crazy leaders, let them... but do know that putting soldiers all around the country is often pushing those crazy leaders because people don't want outside threats.

Maybe "Fuck the Iran leaders", if anything. Its people are humans just like you and me, with hopes for a better life and peace. Humans, it should be noted, surrounded by foreign soliders on pretty much all bordering countries.

I wonder why Muslims have never done this before?

Well, when Iran did have a leader with popular backing, like Mossadegh in the 1950s who introduced such things as unemployment compensation, paying benefits to injured workers, or -- gasp -- allowing the country to use its own oil assets (Iran First, against globalization)... they get overthrown by the Deep State of the US & UK.

Our installed guy, the Shah, then reigned so unpopularily with terror and blood, it slowly led to the Iranian Revolution at the end of the 1970s which in turn brought another asshole, Khomeini.

"And by the way, you know... I sit on the stand... and it get hot... I got a lotta... I got hairy legs... that turn... that that that that that turn... uh blond in the sun... And the kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down ... so it's straight, and then watch the hair come come back up again ... and look at ... so I learned about roaches ... I learned about kids jumping up my lap... and I love kids jumping up my lap".

What does he even mean by that?

If Trump had said this, it would have been a worldwide mainstream media news story for 48 hours.

I'm with Scott Adams: Make all sports gender-neutral, then sort by skill leagues.

It is called Cover Your Ass:

  • They have zero intent to actually do anything for people of color
  • They have full intent to fill some legally required quota

Given above, they can only lose by actually questioning someone.

"Fair use is a legal doctrine that promotes freedom of expression by permitting the unlicensed use of copyright-protected works in certain circumstances. Section 107 of the Copyright Act provides the statutory framework for determining whether something is a fair use and identifies certain types of uses—such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research—as examples of activities that may qualify as fair use."

Is that the same New York Times which along with CNN drumrolled for the Iraq invasion, which left Americans and over 100,000 Iraqi civilians dead?

Shadowbanning... the ugly love child of Kafka and Orwell.

May companies stop using such nasty practices in the future.

I find mainstream media's obsessive need to spin things their way highly disturbing.

Now imagine the power they had back in the newspaper age of decades ago, when no one could post a comment containing counter-narrative -- via ink on paper, they had complete mind control (and led people into costly and immoral wars with it).
