Was at Aldi's Saturday, there were a number of people in there wearing masks and gloves. I saw one guy rub his eye with his gloved hand. Saw another woman lower her mask and itch her nose with her gloved hands. What do you want to bet they get back in their cars, drive home, and remove the gloves, then get in the next day, drive some, get out, and put on gloves?

Pretty sure my community wouldn't be the shit-show NYC has been because:

a) Our mayor and other city officials didn't encourage us to go to a big public celebration and told us that anyone who thinks the coronavirus is dangerous is just a racist fearmonger.

b) We don't pack ourselves into shared disease-riddled tubes ever time we go anywhere in the city.

c) We don't take disgusting yellow cabs to save walking 10 blocks. We have our own vehicles or just walk.

d) We don't have tens of thousands of third-world illegal immigrants.

e) Most of us live in our own homes or apartment building that has perhaps 10 other units max, unlike NYC where people live literally on top of each other, share the same air and elevators inside buildings full of upwards of 5000 other people.

Just sayin', we probably don't need the same draconian rules here in flyover country as they need in rat-infested NYC.

I posted up a screenshot from one of the chans discussing this yesterday. It's very plausible.

So? That's actually better than literally 99.99% of the other talking heads.

Here's a doctor who has I think stumbled on the same idea, although not fully fleshed out.

Basically this:

COVID-19 attacks red blood cells, binding with a protein cage in hemoglobin whose job is to hold a highly reactive (to oxygen) iron ion in place. This allows the iron ions to be freed into the bloodstream, where they immediately react with oxygen and form iron oxide (rust.) Since the virus is in the lungs, this means the lungs get filled up with rust to an extent, but worse the damaged red blood cells can't carry oxygen anymore. They may as well be dead weight in the bloodstream.

This causes low oxygen levels in the body, which makes the patient struggle to breathe and can cause organ failure. When that happens, the stuff we see in COVID-19 patients now are pretty much identical to what would happen if you induced low oxygen levels. Liver tries to remove the iron oxide, it fails and sends out emergency hormones that are the stuff doctors are seeing in late-stage COVID-19 patients before they succumb to the virus.

Enter HCQ. It is an anti-malaria drug. It works by messing with the parasite that causes malaria's ability to target - you guessed it - hemoglobin. The protein cage binding iron in hemoglobin is left intact, and the body fights off the parasite with its uncompromised immune system. It does something similar with the COVID-19 virus, blocking it from breaking the protein cage. It doesn't affect the virus, just like it doesn't affect the malaria parasite. It just stops it from wrecking havoc on red blood cells.

That's it in a nutshell. Treat with the MAGA pill cocktail, give oxygen and maybe even whole blood transfusions in patients that would normally get put on a vent. Only ventilate the most severe cases.

One degree per state, one degree per gender! Same number of PhD's as Joe Biden's IQ!

Somalian-trained doctor Umbave Mohammed Mohammed is on the case!

Did they give him the MAGA pills? Is that a rhetorical question? Of course they didn't, he might live otherwise.

I'm a Missouri pede but not in your district. It would be great to get a MAGA congressman in your district. By far my best two votes of the last for years was for Donald J. Trump in 2016 and Josh Hawley in 2018.

"The fact that they are even conducting a study like this either shows a massive misunderstanding of how and when this treatment should be used or a deliberate means of undermining a drug therapy that actually works."

Absolutely it is, and it's entirely on purpose and their "study" is guaranteed to get the results they want. These people are so transparently evil it's incredible.

Even if a doctor doesn't think it's the most effective, they can still say that's it's effective.

Only two cities in America have I been nearly mugged. Both times I ran as fast as I could to get away. One was Philly, the other New Orleans.

Right. No incentive for the mayor of a deep blue city to up those numbers. No incentive for a senator of a deep blue state to get those numbers up. No way that would happen. No incentive for a doctor in a political situation, like say Dr. Fauci, to downplay possible treatments like HCQ. Even though that's what's happening, but he was touting the same drugs for MERS coronavirus in 2013. There's no incentive anywhere to be found, it's a mystery!

Also every single pneumonia death currently is being classified as another COVID-19 death.

My town is shut down by order of the mayor and governor, a town with a daytime population of about 250,000 people. It's a retail mecca for many miles around. We have ONE CASE that's been confirmed in the last three weeks. That's it. And a handful of unconfirmed cases that had symptoms but were sent home to self-quarantine. And we are shut down starting Monday. The stores today were insane. Instead of normal traffic like it was with just regular "social distancing" now you have whoever may possibly be infected panicking that they have to go out and shop because they are scared shitless.

Three more weeks of this may possibly be tolerable. Beyond that, no. And there's zero reason to devastate our food service industry like they are doing. Many if not most will not recover. Sure, new ones will come in their place eventually. Years from now.

Which is exactly why they need those numbers because that gives them federal emergency funds.

This has already put Old Chicago and Logan's Roadhouse out of business nationwide. I really liked my local Old Chicago too.
