Just in time. A big chunk of that Texas virus surge is medical tourism from Mexico. Their handling of the virus has been a total failure, now people are crossing the border and going to American hospitals for treatment.

Huh... I looked at that a week or so back and it said Texas would be at 15,000 deaths by October. Now it's at 10000 deaths by October with zero preventative measures. Guess the big surge in cases isn't going as badly as the media would have you believe.

Also that "with masks" projection looks like complete bullshit. I really hope the Texas Legislature get their special session so they can read Abbot the riot act.

The Texas legislature is not taking this lying down. Thank God the Texas GOP as a whole is not as complacent as Abbot about supporting conservative values.

Parler is a tool. It’s not the solution to all our problems, but it can be effective if utilized properly; when attacks on .win start, and they will, we must have temporary alternatives to stay organized. One is Gab, Parler is another, Discord is also an option, albeit one that inches closer and closer to nonviability as time goes on. No site is perfect, but being able to hear from people we normally would not hear from with a reasonable amount of community engagement is potentially a net positive.

Just be careful about surrendering any compromising information in the process of utilizing it. I’m not messing with their verification system and would advocate against it in general.

Some places have fines for businesses that don't force their customers to wear masks. They quite literally hold businesses hostage to indirectly control citizens. It's sick and wrong.

He's not forcing masks per se... He's just letting local tyrants hold businesses hostage by fining then if their customers don't wear masks. Which may be even worse, in a way.

Hoax? No. Blown way out of proportion far after we knew better for petty political purposes? Absolutely.

Remember, at the beginning of the year we had no idea how dangerous this thing was, we only had videos from china of overcrowded hospitals, health workers losing their shit, people randomly dropping and convulsing on the streets, most major chinese cities going on complete hard lockdown... The initial response was largely justified, past the first month or so the tyrants started using it as an excuse to seize power.

Oh, just wait until the Black Hebrew Israelites start coming out in force. Blatantly patriarchal, anti-semitism that would make Richard Spencer blush, and open homophobia right smack in the middle of Pride Month. Ice Cube is already shouting them out on social media, Ben Shapiro is losing his shit over it.

Valve is an actual private corporation. They don’t trade their stock publicly, which is why they’ve been able to #resist political pressure from the woke factions so effectively. The day they announced their easing of content guidelines a miniature saltmine opened up in what is left of the game journo sphere.

These blue states have a tendency to assume the rest of the country is just like them.

All these times I've seen this guys tweets I never noticed he had Joseph Joestar in his profile pic. How very appropriate.

He strikes me as a guy who takes his Department’s independence seriously. He’s loyal to Trump, but he’s also his willing to publicly disagree where he deems it appropriate. I legit think he’s one of the better hires Trump has made.

He’s a straight shooter who will make it known when he thinks there’s something that could be done better. Having that impartial perspective from an experienced AG is an invaluable asset, one which Trump has clearly leveraged pretty heavily since hiring the guy. Notice how much less we’re seeing of these bullshit nationwide injunctions from some guy in Hawaii/Cali as of late?

The subreddit is going to get nuked, it’s just a question of when. This backup is going to be necessary sooner than later. The more TD posters that migrate over here before the subreddit is banned, the better.

Why wait? The more, the sooner, the better. As many as we can properly vet. The last thing we want to do is wait for the hammer to come down. Harder to redirect TD regulars without a place to get the word out.
