literally last week i was talking to a lefty friend and stated this exact thing. my friend said it was because i worked hard. i said i’ve worked hard for years but now i am in a better position because employers can pay their hard workers more. as someone who protested donald trumps first town hall in nh back during the 2016 election cycle to voting for trump because it was funny to see hillary lose, i thank our president everyday for setting up the economic conditions for me to succeed financially. i was so wrong in thinking the president didn’t matter. in the past three years i have canceled out all h it student loan debts, which has allowed me buy a car that feels safe to drive. from there i was able to parlay that into a better paying job which i asked to be paid more than they originally offered, and i have now received two raises during the last year in this better position. i no longer live paycheck to paycheck, and with this last raise will be able to start looking to get married/buy a home. i am so happy we have trump and cannot wait for him to be re-elected.
