I told him it was actually Obstruction of Congress, which means the Executive branch didn't kowtow to the Legislative branch, and the Legislative branch didn't want to wait around for the Judicial branch to sort it out so they filed this bogus article of impeachment. It was very educational for him too. ;)

In Maryland it's nigh impossible to get a CCP. General protection of self and others is not considered a "good and substantial" reason. Sad to see the brainwashing is so effective. Fortunately my Gen Z nephew and his gf understand what's really happening.
