At first, I was wondering why tf you'd say unfortunately. And whether or not it was intentional, I definitely do feel I sometimes could be better off knowing less about the corruption across the world.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point) *

What I was wondering is if distributing portions of the code used to make TDW would be beneficial overall. If people had access and were able to make their own sites and move away from Reddit, would it be worth the potential security risk?

Dunno if the world is worse off for overtly killingSolamani, but I sure as hell know it is a better world w/o him. Guy was a dictator. Reflections of Hitler, really. Killing off thousands of political dissenters, execution of religious sects, and the sponsor of militia groups to aid him. If the guy had his way, the numbers would be more comparable to the Nazis, I'm sure, not just his dogma.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point) *

Dude, I'm a centrist libertarian and even I'm not buying any of it. Anybody who panders this hard to their voting base is disingenuous. People cite principle as reason enough to support her, but what principle? She's pushed for impeachment until she realized it wouldn't work for her, said Trump was in line with Al Qaeda, now this? I hate war, like any sane rational individual, but there's a fine delineation between attacking an embassy and then getting shelled because of it and shooting down a civilian airline because someone attacked you for attacking an embassy.

For those that disagree, I get it, trust me. There's certainly been some American provocation on the state, namely the sanctions being put in place, but they are still inevitably responsible for directly sponsoring terror in the region. While there certainly are likely other covert operations being carried out against the regime, it's still (I'm fairly sure) a war crime to attack an embassy. Miss me with the "oh they technically weren't Iranian operatives" bullshit. I call out American, Saudi, and Israeli black ops missions against the regime so I'll call out Iranian ones, too, which these most certainly were. Dirty shit for the dishonourable.

Justin IS our problem. I can't believe we re-elected his party despite scandal after scandal.

Licensetomeme [S] (2 points)

I appreciate him and the few others who are finally standing up against the authoritarian left. More balls than most silent liberals who see what's happening but are too afraid to speak up.

Licensetomeme [S] (2 points) *

Stop? What do you mean stop? Dude's been responsible for the deaths of 3 Americans. I don't think he could care less.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point)

Weird that they're so against killing a known terrorist dictator but turn the blind eye to a bunch of deadb abies. That being said, I personally am anti-interventionist so I totally get why they would, but these are the same people who were criticizing Trump for trying to pull out of Syria months ago.

They don't have any coherent, consistent political position except Orange Man Bad, which is why I and many others can no longer take the left seriously anymore. Formerly a liberal, I've been pushed towards the centre by these loons.

Licensetomeme [S] (2 points)

Was hoping he was some inside man. Now, he just looks like another deep state operative. Lock him up.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point) *

Why would leftists (not to be confused with liberals) ever argue this? They love red flag laws, so you'd think they'd be gungho about imposing nuclear restrictions on a country that has been exposed as supporting radical terrorism and the slaughter of thousands of its own people.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point)

Tbh, I don't think anybody's that stupid. Sounds to me it's a trap to further authoritarian control and to set the precedent of being allowed to investigate people based on tenuous tweets.

Licensetomeme [S] (2 points) *

Leftists - I'd rather vote for adead dictator who massacred thousands of his own people and persecuted specific sects of a religion than vote for Trump. At least he's not a Nazi.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point)

What was even said? If it's Zionists or the Israeli government, that's not anti-semitism. Zionists are a radical political sect in the same vein Antifa is (except with coherent goals, I guess), and being unable to criticize Israel as a nation is freakish. No country should be exempt from criticism, not due to Islamophobia, Anti-Semitism, or any other perceived protected class. Otherwise, how can you hold them accountable for any transgression? If you're still not convinced, what if they were to commit an atrocity on another protected class?

That being said, if they said Jewish, then certainly yes. That would be anti-semitic. Problem with the word Jewish that does not exist with Muslim is that the former can actually pertain to a race of individuals whereas Islam is a religion. You can have Christian Arabs but you can't have Christian Muslims. Therein lies the delineation.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point) *

Juicicial Gains.

Also CNN - A misinformation campaign by a bunch of xenophobic Nazi fascists has been making the rounds, showcasing Donald Trump in 50's attire with biceps thicker than Leftist skulls.

These universities should be held accountable for aiding and abetting espionage, imo. Admittedly, if these measures are too punitive, it may have some sordid consequences for the educational system. But considering just how often these foreign nationals make out of the country with sensitive research makes me feel like there's some money being passed under the table. At the very least, investigations should be carried out on these Universities and these research centres heavily audited.

As far as I'm concerned, the Middle East is at war with everyone, including itself. It doesn't need America's help destabilizing the region as it's more than happy to wage war against Sunni's, Shiites, and whatever it chooses to delineate between each other. It's clear that their main problem is Wahhabism, and it would be most wise to heavily vet any incoming "refugees" to ensure they don't continue to spread this toxic ideology.

Most of these Muslim dominant countries have refused to separate religion from state as the rest of the civilized world has, and it should be up to them to decide whether they would rather live under the tyrannical authoritarianism imposed by their leaders or a proper democracy governed by the people, not the few. Monarchs don't typically last all too long, but by interfering in the region, America is inherently culpable in their longevity. Left to their own devices, they will iron out their own issues as the West has learned to do since as early as the French Revolution.

Never was a fan of the Military Industrial Complex and their freakish boner for regime change, anyway. They've also played a part in the region's general hatred for the West (though Muslims are also even at war with Buddhists, so clearly it's not the cause of the problem, though it certainly exacerbated it), and I'm pretty sure most of us can agree that it's genuinely not America's business for the most part. So, yeah. Prolly time to gtfo.

The "Russian propaganda" IS the Russian propaganda. These idiots lack the self-reflection to put the 2 and 2 together, or perhaps these idiots just don't care so long as they make bank. Either way, they're idiots propagating some debunked conspiracy and need to be held accountable.

People seem to forget that you can sue for defamation. False news, as it were, has historically been something one could be held accountable for. For instance, Benjamin Rush, a signer of the declaration of independence, actually sued a critic of his for fake news. People who cry "muh freedom of press" don't actually know wtf they're talking about. Historically speaking, the freedom of the press does not grant freedom from litigation, as so many seem to suggest.

Fuck. I knew it all along. There's 3 x's in xbox series x. Same protagonist Vin Diesel plays before he was replaced by Ice Cube. Ice Cube is a warning from God about Climate Change. Vin Diesel is going to destroy the ice caps with 30 million xboxes. We were warned too many times but we didn't listen. May Vin Diesel have mercy on us all.

Looks to me that the government is finally taking control from fascistic economics (which they used to prop up their economy through immoral practices) into full blown communism. Now that they have what they want, they may be purging high end execs in order to completely take the reigns and reap the rewards, or perhaps to curtail their own mistakes. Guess all those concentration camps and geopolitical bullying paid off afterall.

Gotta look good for the cameras. Wish I could get a job that's all about talking a bunch of bullshit and being disingenuous to people who follow me, aka most of Hollywood.

Licensetomeme [S] (8 points)

Damn. Imagine if Comey isn't actually put behind bars and what that would mean for everything everywhere. If an fbi director can claim innocence on account of being ignorant or negligent, guess there's no criminal accountability for anyone ever. Also pretty strange that he's being defended by the left given that he's a cis white male. Imagine if a few deplorables were to bring that up in far-left circles.

Licensetomeme [S] (6 points)

He's not your fren, pal.

Licensetomeme [S] (2 points)

I dunno where I heard this argument from, but if he's got nothing to hide..... But, yeah. The projection is stronk. It's almost like he's charging the mean orange man with everything he sees in the mirror. But I totally get why he can't self reflect. The mirror isn't exactly the most pleasant thing to look at for him. Dude looks like a circus freak.

Licensetomeme [S] (4 points) *

If the military is forced into using armoured vehicles, the battle's already lost. Guns and stuff are meant to force the establishments' hand into a lose/lose. Even if the military is called in, it's a Pyrrhic victory at best. Either the people get their victory, or all isburnt until all there's left to claim is a kingdom of ash.

Licensetomeme [S] (2 points)

Nahh. I don't think DeNiro actually hates Trump. He just acts like he does. The reality is, he's probably just scared of him. Hollywood is losing its relevance as more and more people are becoming privy to their cultist cabal and the skeletons in its closet.

Licensetomeme [S] (6 points) *

Political fanaticism can be equally, if not, a more frightening prospect for any country, which is why I find myself sat in the centre. In my mind, though, Trump is no Republican, aka part of the party that has long been used to peddle neocon propaganda for personal gain. In fact, he doesn't fit into either the mainstream left or right.

If being liberal were to be defined as equality and emphasized through freedom and liberty (liberty being the root word of liberal), I'd say he's more aligned to liberalism than these far-left and crony types, ironically enough. What these new idiots on the left don't seem to understand is that liberalism in the recent past meant supporting freedom of speech, free markets, as well as having an anti-interventionist approach to foreign affairs. It's no surprise to me why the guy was a staunch democrat supporter in the past before eventually falling out with the party, likely upon seeing where these crony fucks were headed.

Now, sadly, the left is about authoritarian control, restricted and heavily regulated markets, and even (strangely enough) being pro-conflict. They've jumped the rainbow gilled non-binary shark in their crusade for the so-called greater good.

Licensetomeme [S] (2 points)

The fact that I know more about the American system than some Americans do really saddens me.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point)

Let's be honest. That's too honest for the media these days.

Licensetomeme [S] (2 points)

Ok. So it's fair to sit on impeachment while you have the house and wait 2, 4, or more years until you have the senate? I appreciate her being honest about how she actually feels about democracy.

Licensetomeme [S] (4 points) *

Literally the exact same. Loved Obama when I was an ignorant idiot who refused to research any of the atrocities he'd done, and likely would have supported Sanders until I realized how much of a pandering shill he is.

People think I'm making this shit up because they don't seem to understand that it is very possible to accept when you're wrong about certain "facts", how manipulation goes both ways, and how it is important now more than ever to be able to discern between fiction and reality. We live in a society where disinformation is far more easily disseminated to the masses, and if we do not evolve as a people, we would sooner regress into an age of myth and superstition. A caliphate of misinformation.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point)

Pfft. Just wanted to say there are many more people not even of America who see through the impeachment charade. People who know how to fucking read. So much misinformation up and about, but there are those with the patience to sift through the hyper partisan bullshit. A few years ago, I don't think I would've been caught dead supporting Trump. After everything that's been going on, it's hard to not.

The impeachment inquiry is more than just ousting a sitting president. This is a matter of integrity that speaks on the nation's democratic process, and if this takes off, the land of the "free" will only apply to the oligarchs behind closed doors. This speaks volumes to other like countries, and this may very well set the precedent in how they operate, including my own. And, yet, too many stupid people keep drinking the damn Koolaid. Count me out. S'all about Canada Dry.

Licensetomeme [S] (3 points) *

Wasn't sure how to feel about him, but if something does come out of this, this is certainly something in the right direction towards making me support him. Also, the whole deadline for Brexit was a great power move.

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point) *

Idfc why or how. Comey took the responsibilities that came with being the director of the FBI. That's literally the same with many other jobs. If a fucking cashier can be criminally negligent for leaving the register open, what the more a public servant in charge of one of the highest, most prestigious parts of the judicial branch in the entire country. Tldr, I don't fucking care if he claims he didn't know. He's supposed to know and now he belongs in jail. They don't pay you to sit pretty so now rot in jail. :).

Licensetomeme [S] (1 point)

Freedom is the ability to criticize Islam. Islam itself hates freedom. Look at any other Muslim dominant country and see what they do to gay men, women, and women in general. Killing journalists, too, and a place where anti-Christian and anti-Judaism sentiments have allowed for these countries to retain a 90% (99% in Afghanistan) population of Muslims.
