It's proof of mostly good impulses that have been redirected towards fake, faulty outlets:
People want change.
They want to help others.
They are tired of white people being attacked and identity politics.
These areas are all great advancements feom 4 years ago and, if we can direct them towards what works and overcome people's hatred and disgust at anything Republican, we can continue making progress as a country and not skip back into tribal hatreds of each other.
Most people, like yourself perhaps?, i dunno, just hate the other side of the aisle without trying to understand what the other side is trying to accomplish or why they think they are right and we are wrong. (Of course, nobody ever suspects this in themselves. But assumes it in everyone else!)
