So... I get the whole argument, but the "demonizing police" part... The whole police community is a good ole' boys club. The "bad apples" are that way and stay on because they are allowed by the majority. They don't really do anything to their own...

ATF does nothing for the rights of law abiding citizens, it also doesn't do anything for the oath that they swore to protect.

When tried in court or a case is brought against the police, the question of procedure and communication comes up. Therefore, having said the piece about violation, the citizens are informed they are “breaking the law” and have a duty to comply.

I read the article this excerpt came from. It's very sad, sickening, disheartening. And while it's not a representation of the whole, it seems, through my observation of current social media trends, this is becoming the norm. Sad that a profession which used to be hailed with praise has fallen to a state of absent decorum.
