I guess it depends on where you go. I actually held off on deleting my account because some part of me was hoping to go back to the various tech and/or fandom subreddits if Spez ever relented. Most were populated by the normiest of normies. Some wokesters might appear and upvote each other, but they were the exception, not the rule. Most people clearly just wanted an escape and stayed out of it. The worst I ever got was a stupid PM or two. Nobody ever picked on me for being in The_Donald.

I can imagine some debates breaking out.

There were reports of people showing up to break business windows methodically and walk away...as if they were hired to do just that. The palettes of bricks showed up pretty quickly as well.

This was not organic. But I do think many blacks were hoodwinked into participating.

To be fair, I'm shocked the red pill seems to be going down so easy for some of these folks.

Maybe my faith in humanity has just eroded too much. But the actual video contents appear to be the shock people needed.

I'm not a cop but that guy didn't sound like he was in his right mind for even a second of that video.

Sad Poe's Law times we live in. I got 3 down before I realized it was a joke.

Yeah, this.

You can tell an item is Chinese if they have this overly long add listing dozens of "features" of their blatantly ordinary product.

I admit that in more innocent times I would buy such stuff on purpose if the only other option was overpriced cheap Chinese crap. ($200 for a little speaker that isn't even in stereo? No, I'll take the $6 stereo one, thanks.)

I get you. My kid and I have played both Animal Crossing and Minecraft together, and my husband does as well.

Some people may not "get it", but that's okay. 😎

Ah, gotcha. I don't know whether there's an "official" rule where I live or not. Just that everyone does it anyway.

The good news is that this swings both ways. Some of the old nuts who are worked into a frenzy remember Trump cutting off travel from China, and brag about it too.

I talk to all kinds at work, so I get a feel for such things.

I dunno if a hunchback could crack their own back in that manner. Though it would be interesting to see one try. D:

Honestly I think most people give bicyclists wide berth because they're worried about hitting someone who randomly falls over and/or wipes out. I wasn't aware there was a "standard".

I get you. And I agree people should not get too close to this. I mean yeah, a boat parade for astronauts is pretty cool, but I wouldn't want to be the unlucky boater that has that thing fall on him. squish

Just play it safe, pedes.

I once had a guy at a gun store say the hardest part or working there was when people call up asking if they sell magazines, but they mean the paper kind.

Personally I wouldn't want that thing falling on me.

Just saying.

Pedes need to understand something.... The UK started turning before we did. And they are going through hell.

We're heading the same direction.

It's like a big ship. That thing cannot turn on a dime. It would drift to the side if you tried. But you can still right the ship eventually. The U.K. is drifting big time now. It is trying to right itself. It will take time.

We're next.
