SO this is what happened yesterday, Last Wednesday we had a Motorcycle officer die on his way to work, his funeral was yesterday Also yesterday a local restaurant was called and told the VP would be stopping by but the guy hung up because he thought it was a prank call..LOL..the owner called D.C. or whoever back and no, it was real, the VP would be there within the hour Secret service showed up along with our local SWAT and the people inside of course stayed put. Then in walks the VP himself, I was told by people who were there that he shook hands at every table and introduced himself as Mike Pence, not VP pence, not VP..but just Mike Pence. He then bought 2 pies ( they are very well known for their pies!) and left there then took them to the family of the fallen officer. How he knew is beyond me, but V.P. Pence taking time for that, simply dropping 2 pies off to a family, i dunno..its just so damn American
