We know the Dims are out of ammo for their peachmints. And we can be pretty sure that Nancy held back the articles because they're dead in the water, and it was just a delaying tactic until they figured out their next move.

Does anyone else think the embassy attack was half-assed? Those guys were no more effective than your average looters. What was the purpose of the attack? Did they really think they'd infiltrate using rocks and matches? There was no military firepower there, it was below-average intelligence and some confused dudes in civvies, being urged on by a few higher-uppers.

It's possible this was just a way to force Trump to do something. And no matter how good it is that Soleimani was wiped out, Schiff, Schumer and Omar have already begun to spread the new talking points, that Trump did not inform or confer with/get permission from Congress before the strike. Mark my words, they'll be rushing through a couple more articles to fatten things up.

ETA We already know Obama was chums with Hadi al-Amiri, the ringleader, and others in the Iranian regime. And that Kerry has been keeping those relationships alive and actually helping the Iranians thwart Trump. These are facts. So yes, I'm surmising that they were able to coerce action against the US embassy.
