Wow, My Opa hauled ass out of Germany in the late 30's when he saw the handwriting on the wall, they were becoming violently insistent that he join the jugend, God did he love this country, when i got older i asked him quite directly how we could ensure it never happened here. Your bullet points mirror his reply almost to the word, his emphasis was on never letting anyone take away your private property or your right to keep weapons. My other grandfather faced German torpedoes in the North Atlantic, I have the ghosts of great men looking over my shoulder, as we all do.

Indeed, there are three things they do fear however, irrelevancy, physical pain and their own mortality.

"He's threatnin' to arrest me!" "We have hate groups, we have hate groups, we have hate groups....." Um yeah, maybe because you're a repetitive, annoying, loudmouth, bitch who can't put a sentence together.

Nope, I'm tearing up like a grown man who sorely misses his unquestioningly loyal companion and best friend on four legs who would have given her life to protect me without hesitation.

and Martha Maccallum but maybe that's just because i really want to throw her over my lap and give her a good spanking....so perhaps I'm biased.

Watch Chris "Whiny" Wallace do what he does best...ask biased and leading questions of someone on the right then throw a childish tantrum when his attempted booby-trap incrimination is sidestepped. I love when he gleefully asserts "You'll be escorted from the hall!" Really Chris? By you tough guy? I'd pay to see that.

Ah, the capacity for the left to blame others for their own misdeeds is infinite, a dangerous delusion to have, it means nothing and I mean absolutely nothing, is ever their fault. A lifetime of a lack of consequences, responsibility or owning fault for one's actions and you could propose all kinds of harebrained crap, like socialism or the Green New Deal for example. Hell, if it doesn't work, who cares, all that death and destruction is not your fault at all.

Hypocrite of the highest order, this woman knows she did wrong, time to assign blame elsewhere.....Oh and it's those horrible Trump supporters causing all that violence in our cities...........RIIIIIIGHT.

Brilliant redo of a Marty Robbins cover. Great singer, great album and "I remember each and every word" cause my dad used to sing me to sleep with these songs when I was little. Marty was a conservative and Columbia rejected two of his songs My Own Native Land and Ain't I Right, a right-wing protest song that was about fighting communism in the United States. Great job and very appropriate choice OP.

What happened? When I moved to VA I remember the insane hoops I had to jump through to get a license, I was so frustrated that had I been on parole I would have had all the documents needed, shame on me for being a law abiding person. The difficulty in obtaining a driver's license was ultimately characterized "Well 9 out of 10 9/11 terrorists preferred a Virginia license, we're kinda touchy about that".

That whistling sound at the statehouse ain't the steam heat. Broad could eat an apple through a chain-link fence.

You fucking people have no self awareness and absolutely no shame at all. You have lost any comprehension of the sacred task left to you by great and inspired men. They even left you a guide book, distilled down to the essentials of what not to fucking do. God, I hate to see mental midgets destroy with ignorance, hubris and lust for power what their betters had lovingly created for all of us. If I could lay one curse it would be that people like this suddenly grow a conscience and become self aware, all the pain, death and destruction they have caused would have them running to the nearest bridge to leap off in shame. Disgusting

I think it was the last decade where people cared about their appearance on a mass scale. You got dressed up to go out of the house, you didn't have to be a fashion model but how a person presented them self was given real consideration. This care and consideration people took was visible not only in their appearance but in their relationship to their family, their community and to their country. I find it unfortunate and telling that the "unmade bed" look is now considered acceptable fashion. Maybe it was the fact that so many men had served in the 40's and brought that fastidiousness and standardization of appearance back with them from the military and everyone else just fell in line?

Consider yourself lucky, mine where lost in a time travel experiment, transported to the universe next door in an interdimensional accident. This universe next door is the timeline where Hillary won in 2016, so I'm not going over there after them. Besides the best I can ascertain they were immediately seized as contraband then subsequently melted down to forge much needed leg-irons and manacles.

I propose a solution to the senseless loss of firearms to our nations coastal waters, lakes, rivers, ponds and puddles. We should begin mining this tragically fumbled weaponry much in the same way we used to mine cedar from the bottom of swamps for shingles.

" If we are engaged in the messy work of destabilizing a kids racism or homophobia or transphobia." Oh, The woke hubris. "How an I indoctrinate a generation with Newspeak with those pesky, meddlesome parents around?" Not your function, you should be nowhere near children.

Well put. Most so called "Hate crimes" are adequately covered under existing legislation if only they would enforce and prosecute aggressively, What happened to equal protection under the law? This "some more equal than others" is ripe for misuse and abuse. While intent is a necessary element of a crime, I don't think the basis for that intent should be relevant, this treads dangerously close to Orwellian thought crime. I don't see much difference between pummeling someone to steal their shoes or pummeling someone because you don't like what their t-shirt says, the crime is in the pummeling. Once the pummeling is found to fall under the category of assault and not self defense should there really be more or less acceptable reasons in the eyes of the law for said pummeling? If so couldn't this be addressed by courts showing some discretion and applying maximum or minimum sentences?

TLDR: I agree with what Kemp is trying to do here, protect our first responders but I have always held that enacting "hate crime" legislation is political grandstanding and a Pandora's box.

Sounds like you are labeling anarchists as libertarians.I'm all for a small and limited government, we should have kept it that way to begin with but that Rubicon was passed a long time ago. Also, it would appear as of late that characterization of socialist is a bit dated too. Aren't the current crop of self avowed socialists being supported and in some cases financed by corporate interests? Wouldn't the socialist dream of some all powerful daddy state be akin to a huge monolithic corporate monopoly, on well, everything?
