It's pretty clear that the people making these decisions haven't set foot on a ship/boat/vessel... Mariners in general are some of the least PC people you can possibly imagine.

As a former submariner, this joke never gets old. :)

Same story here; got a full battery of jabs when I signed up for the Navy in the mid 80's. Since then I've had a couple of the once-a-decade tetanus boosters and a jab for Hepatitis for a trip abroad back before the Y2K panic...

I'm not convinced the yearly flu shot does anything; folks at work who get one are out sick just as many days as folks who don't get it - and I've worked at the same place for about 20 years now.

... And then there's a high percentage chance Soros owns the machine you pressed the button on...

A few of my employees have been bringing their kids to work on days where they need to be in the office. It’s fine given that we’ve got so many folks working from home - we even have a big screen TV and a couple of game consoles in the break room for the kids.

Maybe you’re employer can do similar to help you out?

process has become a mess that has pitted women against women.

Democrat Debate-Night VP Jello Wresting is a go.

Kaiser health has all but given up on mail for test samples in the last few months and tests now include a sheet with a giant red stop sign and instructions to drop off at your local clinic.

But mail in ballots are fine. /s

I'm rather surprised that I don't see more professionally done Soros-Signs (tm)...

Thats how you know the whole Biden thing is dead in the water; when even Soros won't spend money on it.

I'm fairly convinced Epstein was a three-letter-agency asset, which is why they ignored him.

He was even better than them at getting blackmail dirt on important people, which would make him an incredible tool for gaining power.

The people downvoting you probably use Face-ID on their phone without a second thought, carry the phone around to track their shopping habits, and don't think twice about telling Google or Facebook shit they wouldn't tell their own mother...

But Rite-Aid using facial recognition is a bridge too far!

Yeah. He didn't give us much to work with meme-wise, but we do what we can to make him at least entertaining. :)

His notes appear to call out some of Harris' electable attributes:

"Can suck start a Harley"

"Can suck the chrome off a trailer hitch"

and

"Once sucked a golf ball through 30 feet of garden hose"

Wow! No wonder she's the VP candidate for the dems.

Never watched the guy, but it's generally a safe assumption that anyone who uses Youtube as their primary income source, and hasn't been cancelled for wrongthink, is either a commie or too busy playing their game to be much use.

OP: I'm in a similar situation; Navy vet, no family, no safety net - just some friends and a pretty good job that I bust my ass to maintain.

And, like you, I just keep my head down politically as I can't afford to take the hit if some welfare case with too much free time decides to target me. No stickers on my car, no red hats, no yard signs or banners... No indication of any sociopolitical stance what so ever.

I think of it as good OPSEC for [current year].

What I did back in March was move to the very edge of what I was comfortable doing for a drive to get to/from work, and I'm using that as a base to move even further afield once I get my poop in a group... Once you get out of the city - even just a few miles - things get exponentially better and you get the breathing room to make bigger plans to escape.

Above all though, don't let it get you down. Keep a clear head, on a swivel, and make plans to do what you need to do to stay safe and sane. And feel free to vent here if you can't anywhere else.

Excellent choice for close-up tyranny. Now you need a rifle for more distant tyranny. Hehe.

That's what I hear.

The other popular option (at least around here) is the Airforce Texan SS.

AKSHULLY (pushes glasses up)

The math is actually pretty complicated given surface tension calculations.
