Research the debates over the Bill of Rights and the discussions that were had by our Founding Fathers. Remember, these are men who had just fought a war against a tyrannical government so the idea of keeping the new government in check was paramount. Most modern anti-gunners happen to live in metropolitan or suburban areas, and don't have any concept of the true meaning of keeping arms. They are inundated with "gun violence" news daily, and propaganda their entire lives, so they don't see any value in protecting our rights. I always ask these people if they would apply their restrictions to the police. That question always creates a conflict in their mind for a moment.
