I don't follow Star Wars Trek, but even I got that reference. Obama never gave up control, the peaceful hand-over of power was never completed.
Him and the DNC, effectively dissolved the Presidency, handing over control of the nation to the DNC controlled Deep State.
It is why they can hold these investigations with zero evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors and we cannot criticize them anymore without being threatened with investigation, ourselves.

I'd agree that the same people are in control, but I think Obama accepted the fact he never HAD control. It was deep state all the way (he took Hillary's first spot) and he was fine with that, as for now the deep state is pushing a collectivist global platform.
Well said, I see what you are driving at. It makes more and more sense looking at his behavior in retrospect. A figure head, rather than having true authority unless provoked to the extreme, like how Queen Elizabeth has been lately.
