When I left r/The_donald I told them to kiss my White Nationalist ass and someone commented that I was a leftist trying to make them look bad. What's up with that?

The term “white nationalist” is for someone who believes there should be a nation for just white people. It is not a good term. It is also kind of stupid. There are so many different types of white people. This country was founded on individual liberty because no two people are the same.
You can be white, you can be a nationalist, but when you put them together it means something else entirely.
Everyone who loves America is welcome.
Trump: 'You know what I am? I'm a nationalist'
Saying "I am white, I am nationalist" is different from saying "I am white nationalist".
Nationalist are also people in other countries who love and want to preserve their national identity. In Europe, even if they were overwhelmingly white, nationalists did not see the others in another country with good eyes. Different languages, different cultures, different history and interests. Which was OK as long as it did not lead to wars - it was a true diversity which you could feel crossing a border.
White nationalism reeks at internationalist idea. True, seeing the demographic and cultural genocide white race is going through now, unite under an umbrella seems resonable. But is not, and is used to fuel resentments not from the insane left which is unredeemable (and mostly white, I might add, see Antifa) but from the regular people.
Nationalism is a WAY better solution to multinational empires which crumbled after WW1 and infi ite better than the globohomo shit where everyone will be the same regardless where you'll go.
