Not necessarily, they are all blocked by the chicom's great fire wall, nobody can run their business in there, but most assuredly they're operating more and more like the chicoms, which makes no difference between the two.

Zionist Globalists control Big Tech. FB's Zuckerberg, Google's Brin, Oracle's Elliott, etc. are all Jays. Plus the lower-level second-tier execs are disproportionately Jays and even Israelis. And all tech companies are working with the ADL to censor "hate speech".

But ChiComs are friendly to them (for now). Israel's betrayed the US by frequently selling US weapons tech to ChiComs, so no surprise.

Yahoo is complete garbage. Authors on that site routinely make outrageous claims with no evidence whatsoever, showing no journalistic integrity at all.

Yahoo removed their comments section back in August, because they were getting too much pushback. People were using the comments sections to spread the truth, so they removed them.

30
GulagDweller 30 points ago +30 / -0

I'd put more confidence in The National Enquirer (by 1000 fold) than the Yahoo News or any part of Yahoo. It has to be the most pathetic waste of time on the internet. How they even stay in business is the only shock for me.

20

15
BillPigg 15 points ago +16 / -1

Yes! I used to go there after reading my Yahoo email just to catch up on any breaking news. It's just a click-bait site now. Very anti-Trump. Very disappointed when they removed comments as I relied on them for truth. I haven't been back in months.

Thank God I found TheDonald.

they brought in a woman from google thinking it would fix everything plus it would be super woke. She ran the company into the ground basically, a lot of their top guys (software guys and others) started to quit. They had dumb policies too like getting reviews from other employees or something, can't remember. They brought her from google because they thought she would have a lot of connections because she had been with them since the early days. She was in no position to lead a company.

1
ArmedHousewife 1 point ago +1 / -0

If you have AT&T, the email is through yahoo.

1
WishdoctorsSong 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yahoo makes me sad, they really were a legit great company way back when. I remember when they hired Marrisa Mayer as their new CEO, every fucking soy boy coder I worked with was talking about how this brilliant female would bring them back. She ran them into the ground with her most notable accomplishment being publishing an overwrought blog post about how much effort went into their new logo design.

89
SpaceAce 89 points ago +89 / -0

I loved yahoo back about a decade ago. May have been closer to around 15 years ago. They seemed a lot more based and the comments were always conservative and amazing. The best one I ever saw was an article about Obama's new book and the #1 comment was "Hitler wrote a book too". It's a real shame Yahoo went to shit. I haven't used them for news for years now.

42
Libertas_Vel_Mors 42 points ago +42 / -0

Yahoo! pretty much survives off of software patent royalties. Look for the company to choke and die once those run out, which should start around 2025 or so...

30
SpaceAce 30 points ago +30 / -0

Most news sites went bankrupt years ago but the Dems prop them up. Yahoo will never disappear as long as they have Soros type money pouring in to keep the executives in fancy mansions with personal chefs, pool boys, and gardeners.

It doesn't matter if they survive or not because they're neutered. And that's not to say they'll survive. I don't think they will.

I could be wrong, but Soros is not going to keep throwing money at a medium that has 0 effect. I reckon Soros is going to shift his prioritize to more widely assessible mediums, such as video games.

If you're a noob and don't know how to navigate the internet to look for better free resources, their stock market data is pretty useful. But like I said, if you're not 80 years old there's so many better resources out there for looking up that stuff

But most of the mainstream ones are trash so it's not exactly a high bar, but yea of the mainstream charts theirs are good

36
Gulleyfoyleismyname 36 points ago +36 / -0

And now NO news site has comment sections!

I used to have SO much fun!

38
SpaceAce 38 points ago +38 / -0

Generally if I pick up an article on a site I'm not familiar with I immediately look for comments. If comments aren't allowed I refuse to read and never use their site again. The only reason any site would ban comments is if the "news" they post is fake.

23
heyhay83 23 points ago +23 / -0

They got bought out by Verizon in 2017. Verizon also owns Huffington Post, so Yahoo's news section is essentially rebranded far left Huffington Post crap.

That shouldn't surprise anyone. There isn't any major news aggregate not firmly bought out by shady shit heads these days.

Same. I spent so much time on Yahoo news comments. It really was a fun place until things started changing and real people started leaving for legit news sites.

4
SpaceAce 4 points ago +4 / -0

I did the same friend. I actually cared about my comment feedback. From what I remember yahoo was about the last large news aggregate that allowed commenting on a universal basis. Now you have sites like fox which blocks comments on any "breaking" stories.

they were buying trash companys left and right for hundreds of billions of dollars and ended up with nothing to show for it. they made mark cuban, when they bought his company broadcast.com and then shut it down! mark cuban isn't a genius, he was lucky to be in the sights of a very dumb company - yahoo.com

For those who don't know about what I am talking about, I recommend the works of the highly polemical scholar Bat Yeor; yes, one can be polemical and scholarly at the same time. For full disclosure, other scholars severely criticize some of her facts and analyses; I am not a cheerleader for her as I am not well-enough educated on the topic to comment. That being said, she is one of the most courageous authors alive for even writing about the topic of Dhimmis: minorities living under Islam.

In that article:

There’s nothing illegal about an American developer pursuing a project in Russia. But when the developer is also a leading presidential candidate, there’s an obvious incentive for Russian leaders to curry favor with the candidate, or obtain compromising information on him—or both—in order to establish leverage that can be used later in matters of state. Determining whether this happened is a core mission of the Mueller investigation.

33

I think they always did it, but there were smarter propagandists running the show before. Interesting rabbit hole to go in is Kitty Genovese story with reporter who went on to be editor.

18
Metrix1977 18 points ago +18 / -0

Twitter is not the truth. Only like 20% of Americans use it and they are largely all phone addicted Democrat’s.

What’s great about the echo chamber is dems have convinced themselves Biden has got the election locked. God willing, there will be a massive reality check in three weeks.

6
Whatyougotson 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yep. Im surprised a major trump website doesbt have more active users, comments, not just webtraffic...then i realized most trump supporters dont bother with social media outside of facebook or linkedin for keeping connections. They dont have time to spend all day rioting and fighting cops because they, for the most part, all have jobs and are contributing to americas future. A lot of people are busy living their lives and dont go out of their way to find this site and the tech companies do what they can to stifle it aswell. I know its a kettle calling the pot black about an echo chamber, but there should be an echo if its rightly and just. The smugness sureness of some people just make for some hilarious videos after election.

You think they don't remember? They think we're STUPID.

16
MuadDon 16 points ago +16 / -0

For many of them, they are just stupid. Stupid is as stupid does. The idea that ALL journalists are a part of some collective group surreptitiously creating fake news is unrealistic. That idea is the detritus from the dying belief that journalists are credible and trying to seek truth, both for themselves and for their readership.

9
zabbers 9 points ago +9 / -0 (edited)

The idea that ALL journalists are a part of some collective group surreptitiously creating fake news is unrealistic.

While there are hierarchical relationships in the MSM establishment, this is mostly a narrative set up by the propagandists themselves to attack the idea of a media coverup. (sort of like adding "cannibal baby eating lizard people cults" to any conspiracy theory to discredit it)

The "conspiracy" is mostly one of shared ideals and values, political bias (bias gives you blinders to alternative viewpoints) and a desire to be a part of the in-group. Most journalists, even if they are regular reporters with no intent to deceive, are normies who believe what the well-respected publications and prestigious journalists tell them. They aren't just the indoctrinators - they're the most indoctrinated of the party.

5
MuadDon 5 points ago +5 / -0

Well said.

4
plaaaa 4 points ago +4 / -0

They literally do. This was exposed in Jounolist scandal.

6
ColbyP 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yeah, I've known several journalism majors. They aren't smart enough to be part of a global conspiracy. Most of them can barely tell the difference between fact based reporting and writing what they feel about an issue.

4
ADAM_SCHITT 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah most of them are just partisan hacks. Useful idiots.

2
lerm4comptroller 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not saying this isn't true (they are idiots, plus #notall and everything), but look up the term:

Journo-list

... Yes, many mainstream "journalists" actually are all working together. The whole "4am talking points" thing? That's not a joke; it's a literal thing they actually do.

2

They think most people don’t read behind their tweet, and they’re right. Most people don’t even read their tweet at all, they read some Redacted or Facebook headline to an ‘article’ titled “So and So BLASTS the FAKE Attack Against Joe Biden’s DEAD SON,” which contains a link to the tweet somewhere in it and mentions one time Biden had a son that died despite it being unrelated to Hunter and his crack and hookers and corruption habit.

They don't care anymore, Twitter and the Gestapo tech firms will scrub whatever is necessary to keep the lie alive

9
Libertas_Vel_Mors 9 points ago +9 / -0

They know. Their target audience, the drooling Antifa/BLM/SJW types, are too stupid to even go look, since their confirmation bias will prevent them from even thinking to.

8
arse_garblin 8 points ago +8 / -0

Because they are way too comfortable with an incessant news cycle that guarantees anything they do will be memory holed.

And even when things like this do happen and they’re actually called out on their bullshit, these critiques are dismissed entirely by the Left‘s adherents. They simply do not care about the double standard from those on their side — because they actually believe they are the good guys fighting off literal evil Nazis in every. single. goddamn. scenario.

And that in and of itself makes anything they do justifiable.

3
Themustardtiger 3 points ago +3 / -0

Probably underestimate the memory retention of the right.

4
Vino 4 points ago +4 / -0

They remember, they are just so narcissistic they believe their beliefs are above question.

3

They remember, they've just convinced themselves that "anonymous sources" are totally reliable as long as you agree with what they say.

Their heads are so far up their own asses that they believe their hype. Journalists are among the lowest forms of life on the planet, since they pretend to inform and educate but just lie and deceive instead.

1
monochromedout 1 point ago +1 / -0

I really think it comes down to whether it is well-researched and vetted or just shit thrown against the wall.

It is sad because some of these people treat their media organization (WaPo, NYT, Atlantic) like it's fucking twitter. Just throw some shit up there for clicks.

In comparison, if you take the time to write a legit piece of investigative or plain journalism, the level of effort and sourcing would make it hard to forget.

22
xzars_folly 22 points ago +22 / -0

Its easy, search up "Thin Slicing"

There were experiments done and people have something like a 85% accuracy rating of picking out who is a criminal just on a photo alone. Thus the "pedo smile" is a real thing, and people are attuned to see it.

See learning to recognize who among your fellow humans is a threat is an essential survival instinct in every era of human history, even the modern day. Thus our brains are very well adapted to pick out who is very likely a bad person, and what kind of bad person they are.

Thus if he legit "has a pedo vibe" he probably is.

5
nakklavaar 5 points ago +5 / -0

Thanks, that’s pretty interesting. Something to look into.

3
trollkin0331 3 points ago +4 / -1

I haven't read the literature, but I'm speculating that men possess this trait much more often than women. Women seem to be oblivious to predatory men, let them into their lives, become victims, then blame all men with muh rayp culcher

2
Work2gethrBiglyOrDie 2 points ago +2 / -0

Based on the true crime shows, and shows like "I survived," I've noticed that some women have good instincts, but come up with an excuse to not listen to their gut. One woman didn't want to be racist when she was worried about 3 black males walking by her house, she ended up gang raped. Two other similar cases ended up with carjackings and a baby left in a field to die. Another case a girl warned another girl to not go with the man that only wanted to let 1 hitchhiker in his car. She had her arms hacked off...

2
trollkin0331 2 points ago +2 / -0

I definitely believe it to be true that a significant amount of people do indeed ignore their instincts, particularly their survival ones since the act of survival is so easy in the 1st world, and it's also considered 'barbaric' and 'uncivilized' to worry about such a primitive matter. What percentage of people that applies to, my guess is as good as yours.

Even if they aren't Pedo's themselves, many of them have been supporting Pedoflix on the cuties subject and laws such as the one in California recently which removed statutory rape protections for minors (put forth and passed by Democrats), plus they are teaching kids way too much about sexual things and supporting sex change operations in kids.

Party of Pedos.

"Writer for Yahoo"... he should start learning to code right now

11
Johnfox13 11 points ago +11 / -0

These hack journalists I cannot wait until they get laid off eventually and scream “I took out $60k for this??”

They are harmful but act so righteous like mmm mm we are the free press mm mm

8
ColbyP 8 points ago +8 / -0

Freedom of the press is so strange. Like, obviously they need to be free to release articles that show the government in a bad light without getting "disappeared", but at the same time freedom of the press was never intended to protect you publishing verifiable lies. We've gotten to a point where anyone can post anything, and claim themselves or an anonymous "source" as the origin of the story and get away with it, whether the source even exists or not. That's not journalism.

3
Ptannerdactyl 3 points ago +3 / -0

“Learn to code” is not a joke, my life got much much better when I decided to take that seriously!

39
kr0tchr0t 39 points ago +39 / -0

DNC bootlicker. On top of that, wasnt Yahoo the first to publish a story on the Steele Dossier? In fact, that story led to a FISA warrant.

23
MagaQTpie 23 points ago +24 / -1

Acktually.... the Steele Dossier was first submitted to FISA which they rejected, then it was leaked to Yahoo who published an article about it, then that article was used to submit it again to the FISA courts which then approved it.... such fuckery.

11
Alpha 11 points ago +11 / -0

Ah yes i remember that part of constitution where it says

"if false rumors or propaganda are pushed by Yahoo! It must be true and government must investigate..."

4
Quest723 4 points ago +4 / -0

I am 100% certain your comment is incorrect.

They sought a FISA and were rejected because the request was too broad.

Afterwards, they included the dossier, and they shopped it around beforehand. They used "independent media reports" to confirm facts in the "Dossier," neglecting to mention that they had shared the dossier with the media themselves.

C'mon. Think about what you're typing. That's incredibly sloppy.

That's like trying to cash a check that had your name filled out incorrectly, fixing it yourself, and trying to re-cash it the same day with the same teller.

Rick Newman is notoriously anti-Trump since 2015. Anyone here who regularly posted on Yahoo (before they censored their comments section recently) knows this. Literally EVERY ONE of his sorry cucked articles has been an Orange Man Bad tirade. He's a clownshoes joke. Fuck Rick Newman.

4
CahalTheMad 4 points ago +4 / -0

I left long before they axed commenting. I was on BB and TGP, and, uh, sigh... Drudge Report, and a couple others since 2013/14 or so.

3
Lol_Garrus 3 points ago +3 / -0

And seeing him get rekt in the comments every article was brilliant.

3
Nightjar 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yahoo Finance is so boring without comments. The top rated comment on every one of their propaganda pieces use to be a pinpoint rebuttal right to the jugular. Naturally, they couldn't have this every time so they shut the comments sections down....Naturally I basically stopped going there.
