That's a Polish name, originally spelled Ziminska

I hope you were making a joke because if you were, it was a good one.

For those who may not understand Polish names, "ski" is the masculine form while "ska" is the feminine form

Pffft, no. When the immigrants first came to Ellis Island, the people writing down their names were illiterate and couldn't spell complicated names. That's why they ended up with so many derivations.

That Ellis Island trope is only partially true.

Differing levels of literacy is very true.

Also, lots folks changed their names after becoming cultural Americans. This is true where I live, with a big Czech population with crazy -assed last names that got simplified/Anglicized over the years.

The Ellis trope isn't partially true. It's just true.

That trope is overstated and is given more weight than it should be rightfully given.

People changed their names for a myriad of reasons. Ellis Island is merely one of those reasons.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_name

You really need to know what you're talking about.

The ski/ska masculine/feminine traces back to before the new world was even discovered so your Ellis Island excuse if simply BS. Even today it's common for a Woitjek Witkowski to name his daughter Julia Witkowska.

Good job. The citation says, "This claim needs references to reliable sources." Maybe next time you shouldn't use Wikipedia as your source for knowledge.

Would you like to have this conversation in Polish.

W gdańsku mieszkałem prawie 15 lat. Nie wiesz, o czym mówisz

I'm not impressed with the fact that you learned how to use google translator.

Who was his target?

Kyle

Lunging man? They can put the name. He is deceased so they don't need permission. However I'm sure releasing the name would result in searches and exposing who is and videos of how he wanted to pick a fight with Kyle.
