We had 12 years 2 years ago. I guess life moves fast when 2+2=5

We had 12 years 30 years ago. Some of us older pedes have been hearing this horseshit since we were toddlers.

Goozmania 138 points ago +138 / -0

Yeah, I remember when I was a wee boy, in the 1980's, we only had 7 years of oil left on Earth. ON THE WHOLE EARTH!!!

And this was actually taught to us in school.... 30 years ago... So we ran out of oil 23 years ago, but we're now somehow oil independent for the first time lol.

Don't forget that the ice caps have already melted and everyone on both coasts are now under water. And something about tornadoes.

Why is this a bad thing, again?

Dry Land is not a Myth! I've seen it!

47
DonaldTrumpIntheEnd 47 points ago +47 / -0

I heard there’s some Dry Land out west, similar to other Swedish-type countries. I’ve been taking care of my disabled in-laws ever since we ran out of oil, non-melted scoops of ice cream, and chicken tendies, but CNN recently reported they found some Dry Land. After we all finish defunding the police and rioting for The “Great Therapist” Jacob Blake as well as the murder of RBG by anti-abortion bigots, I plan on asking my wife’s boyfriend if he will allow us to move out west. Unfortunately, my toddler just asked why Trump’s America had to be this way, so I told him the truth about Trump building the Wall to keep all the water stuck in the country and cage up all the scientists which would have done the jobs Americans wouldn’t do and actually find a cure.

Aren't all the polar bears supposed to be dead by now? Isn't the entire world supposed to overpopulated? What about that scary depleting ozone layer?

No. We were supposed to have a new Ice Age by now, if we didn't pay more taxes and stop using fossil fuels.

You know what's weird? Out of all the myriad of climate hoaxes that float around today, did you know the ozone layer depleting was an actual thing? We were able to track it's repair directly with the reduction in CFCs. The fact that it's real is probably why you don't hear too much about it - it's easier to shift the facts on something fake than it is on something real.

14
PromiseImNotASpook 14 points ago +14 / -0

Don’t forget about the acid rain that was going to kill us all.

15
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 15 points ago +15 / -0

I remember that one quite distinctly. We were told that due to acidification every lake in the Northeast and much of Canada would be devoid of fish in ten years. That was about 40 years ago.

What happened to tornadoes, anyway? Didn't we have some outbreaks many years ago and it was ohhhhhhh global warming!!!!

13
PinochetIsMyHero 13 points ago +13 / -0

It was hurricanes, not tornadoes. And they argue that one in both directions.

  • Hurricanes will get massively more powerful because the oceans are boiling!

  • Hurricanes won't exist because the temperature differential between the poles and the equator is what drives their strength.

TBQPH the second one would be a lot more mathematically correct if any of this shit were real.

Wouldn't running out of oil be a good thing for them?

7
omegapede 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yea, I'm rather young so I don't remember that specifically, but I think it turned into 'peak oil' (coming 2050?). But they must have failed to account for new extraction methods, or new discoveries. True science leaves every hypothesis open, as there are many unknowns. The left's science is 'settled'.

8
FeistyTary 8 points ago +8 / -0

Correct, we might run out of "easy to extract" oil, but that doesn't mean we don't have ANY left. Just makes it more expensive to extract and process, thereby driving the cost up. Shale was only recently profitable for this reason.

7
JeremiahKassin 7 points ago +7 / -0

That, and we invented fracking, which, of course, turned out to be the end of the world, too.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

'Peak oil' refers to needing extra super expensive methods to get more. Which has actually happened. Oil sands, shale oil, etc.

1
Goozmania 1 point ago +1 / -0

Love the "iTs SeTtLeD sCiEnCe" argument from "ScIeNcE iS rEaL" liberals... when, in fact, there is no such thing, and even the phrase "settled science" spits on the definition of science, itself.

In the 1970's we were warned of the coming ice age, how glaciers would advance as far south as Chicago, it was inevitable.

Then global warming.

Then global stay-the-same.

Then Climate Change.

Then climate CHAOS!

And in every case, the solution was the same: Give political power to unelected bureaucrats, transfer trillions to the third world, and dismantle modern society.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

18
ClownTamer 18 points ago +18 / -0

I’m fine with sensible things that benefit the environment, but have never seen a politician do anything like that. In all my years, it’s always them acting like a doom prophet, and claiming that despite having 0 relevant experience in the matter, they know the one true solution, and it involves giving them lots of money.

Now the trend is to get teenyboppers to criticize us while flying around the world in private jets burning more fuel than any normal folks could use in a lifetime.

Green New Deal sums it up nicely. “We’re going to end climate change by stopping economic inequality due to systemic racism against marginalized groups.” At least now they’re being honest with their bullshit. “The world’s going to end! So give us money so we can give it to [SWAYABLE VOTING DEMOGRAPHIC]!” With all the money they’ve gotten over the past decades, you’d think they’d have done 1 nice thing for minorities, the environment, anything. BLM hasn’t done a god damned thing since it started. 95% admin costs, and the rest going to ‘consultants’. Not one thing done.

8
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 8 points ago +8 / -0

I’m currently on a city environmental committee, and unfortunately the climate cultists are actually obstructing and preventing us from working on important things like litter abatement, waste management, invasive species, etc. by constantly attempting to inject their leftist political climate agenda into our meetings.

TD_Covfefe_Crusader 2 points ago +2 / -0

Unfortunately I don't schedule the meetings. We've already told them that we aren't going to discuss it, and the previous committee even voted not to discuss any political issues, but these are Democrats, who make demands and don't care about voting when it doesn't go their way.

3

I remember the media scaring us about the impending ice age back in the '70s. There was supposed to be famine as the glaciers reclaimed the farmland of the breadbasket and wars as people fled to the equator.

Ooops!

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +3 / -0

Government did a study in the 60's: what could replace war as a means of getting the population to voluntarily pay taxes and be patriotic? The answer was "probably nothing," but if anything could it would have to be very wasteful, and if it affected the whole world that would be best. A little truth to it meant that AGW was born.

You can tell they don't really care about the issue because if they did all they'd focus on would be reducing pollution; everyone agrees pollution is bad. There's SO much we could do to actually reduce the problem, that we don't do.

They want control. DO. NOT. CO-OPERATE!

They don't seem to understand that keeping people in a perpetual state of fear, like they've been doing with global warming cooling climate change etc., makes those people tired.

When their projections fail to occur when they project them to, and it happens as many times as it has, people start to see it as a tool to control the population -- even if they try to spread socially taboo labels like "climate denier".

Frankly, the better strategy is to just say it: The world is fucked and there's no turning back.

It would make me feel like they're being more honest, and it would stop being used to control the population.

4
the-new-style 4 points ago +5 / -1

They want the young to be angry at the old for all the existential threats they created for which the solution is impossible change.

This directs their energy away from noticing things. I'm a bit sad I fell for it and my own parents were not equippped to counter it.

4
CuomoisaMassMurderer 4 points ago +4 / -0

That is merely ONE axis of polarization used. Divide and conquer is their strategy. They have poolarized society along every axis of division imaginable. I didn't think we were even susceptible to racial division anymore, but they've pushed that long and hard enough.

It takes 0 talent to prey upon the worst of human nature and get Americans to hate their fellow Americans.

Wtf_socialismreally 2 points ago +2 / -0

3
Goozmania 3 points ago +7 / -4

Unpopular opinion here, but the net neutrality thing opens up the possibility of ISP's controlling what you view and controlling your bandwidth.

Companies have mostly chosen not to use this newfound power, because of things like cancel culture... But just because they haven't acted on it, doesn't mean it was a good thing. I place this act right alongside the Citizens United case which gave corporations rights as if they were actual people, which is ludicrous, to me... That is establishment republican stuff, not MAGA stuff.

9
djtverystablegenius 9 points ago +9 / -0

So to save us from the evil thing ISPs were not doing Tom Wheeler (head of the FCC and former Comcast lobbyist) decided to guarantee a permanent monopoly to ISPs and call it Net Neutrality.

My Internet bill went down and speeds went up 40% within 16 months of the repeal.

7
Goozmania 7 points ago +7 / -0

Speeds were already growing at staggering rates, regardless of whatever tiny regulations there were... as far as prices, good for you? My internet cost sure hasn't gone down. I'm going to assume if yours actually did go down, it's because a new competitor entered your market.

1
djtverystablegenius 1 point ago +1 / -0

You nailed it. The two major ISPs started competing.

2
Goozmania 2 points ago +2 / -0

Spectrum is the only one available in my area; was Time-Warner before that FeelsBadMan

I live in a densely populated (sub)urban area of California, too... Makes me think Spectrum has some deal with the local government to block others out.

3
Brave1884 3 points ago +3 / -0

Your speeds went up because they finally laid fiber to your area. Fiber is the same reason prices went down per MB. The rapid spread of fiber in the US was actually do to google and community ran ISPs popping up.

4
Thundermark 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, corporations are not people, and need to be reminded of that - and also not be given rights like ppl, or even above that of actual ppl. When real citizens have their guns stolen by the state and psychopaths-for-hire playing soldier from Blackwater get to walk around w/ automatics, Blackwater needs to be disarmed.

3
Wtf_socialismreally 3 points ago +3 / -0

I remain in favor of some form of net neutrality.

There is no way that there wasn't an option with less pork but taking away their unrestrained power.

We see how much megacorps keep working to silence us and remove our voices or ability to organize, from Facebook, Twitter and Reddit banning our users, to major credit card companies closing lines of credit to conservatives, to the media and Congress's genocidal agenda against us.

I totally have no doubt that ISPs will become a player in this game at some point. After all, to the left it's fine as long as they consider us Nazis.

It would also be nice to push them into further bettering the infrastructure as a country, because as a country our infrastructure is still behind.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Infrastructure most in need of upgrade is our power grid. Harden it against solar flare style EMP, as well as nuclear device. Cheap to save our most irreplaceable element, our largest transformers.

Explain "Congress' genocidal agenda against us?"

1
Wtf_socialismreally 1 point ago +1 / -0

Democrat Congress wants to exterminate whites, as we see their militant arm AntiFA doing with no repercussions.

1
MAGAlikeLINCOLN 1 point ago +2 / -1

How exactly can ISPs control what you view unless encryption is banned. And how exactly will society not collapse due to hackers if encryption is banned. You would no longer be able to do online banking, many online payments, all email and other communications would be hackable by man in the middle attacks.

If instead only traffic was allowed between certain accepted sites then overnight I think a mesh network would pop up where people would actually share and publish real content. Kind of like how a parallel economy is forming with sites like bitchute and gap and this very site we are using.

It isn't going to happen. Your opinion is completely based out of ignorance. I'm open to being corrected but you got to back up that opinion of yours.

5
PinochetIsMyHero 5 points ago +5 / -0

DNS blocking, datamining, buying out VPN companies and analyzing their logs, prohibiting VPN companies from operating. It doesn't have to be perfect -- making it HARD is enough to stop 95% of people. Just look at Gab.ai and 8ch.net. One no longer exists and the other is barely struggling along.

Centralization is a problem and always has been and always will be. Just look at Obama weaponizing the credit card companies to stop gun sales and certain legal categories of porn. Now that's spread to conservative fundraisers.

This is why we need Bitcoin to succeed. No way to censor it, no way to stop it. If I want to send money to you, Visa/MC can't say "no you can't because he's a Nazi and now so are you too."

1
MAGAlikeLINCOLN 1 point ago +1 / -0

Buying out VPN companies is not a solution. Once you can't access the site you want you just switch to another. The only reason it is hard now is because there is no base user demand for it. Also the economic structure currently doesn't make sense. Sites like Netflix are in essence arbitraging the providers and being subsidized by non users. Also imagine you're China. Putting bandwidth caps on everyone would actually make them less consumers of propaganda and the opiate media and more likely to become conscientious objectors to the regime. These are the same reasons why bitcoin can't be shut off.

1
braveContrarian 1 point ago +1 / -0

if you really want a good VPN for yourself, buy a VPS in bitcoins without indulging your name where the server is in another country and install openVPN yourself.

leased line VPNs are a known risk in business -- you pretty much only use them like that in order to hide basic bitch shit like piracy or what porn you're watching -- shit where they wont just sell you out because its mostly civil and not a big deal or not even illegal at all -- piracy is the main reason to purchase a VPN service in reality (unless your in china -- but TOR would be safer bet for getting around the firewall tbh)

at least if you rent the VPS and can encrypt your VPS partition as well as run your own managed VPN on it, you have a better chance of privacy.

And its not a known VPN server as well, so nobody can throttle or block it easily for quite awhile.

really its still a risk with the VPS company, but either way... its better.

the problem with a fully secured VPS is its no good for the actual reason people buy them -- piracy. if you run the server linked to your name using property you own, it doesnt matter if the data is encrypted or not -- you have a direct link to your name publicly available due to the address of the server.

so really, for any of the illicit reasons you'd use a VPN, you're kinda stuck renting.

2
Brave1884 2 points ago +2 / -0

They already do control what you view on the backend. Many ISPs already throttle or block vpns, they’ve threatened to block streaming services if they don’t pay them money for priority, etc. Say Apple decides it wants to get in the business of selling bandwidth, you don’t think they would prioritize there services over others?

Buying out VPN companies is not a solution. Once you can't access the site you want you just switch to another. The only reason it is hard now is because there is no base user demand for it. Also the economic structure currently doesn't make sense. Sites like Netflix are in essence arbitraging the providers and being subsidized by non users. Also imagine you're China. Putting bandwidth caps on everyone would actually make them less consumers of propaganda and the opiate media and more likely to become conscientious objectors to the regime. These are the same reasons why bitcoin can't be shut off.

To add, privacy can only get better. It is at the worst it has maybe ever been. Despite even more obtrusive data mining people have the power already to greatly improve their privacy. ISPs stsrting to censor might be the best thing that happens because consumers can so easily fight back and overnight will adopt much better security and privacy.

mintyfresh 2 points ago +3 / -1

You mean the "newfound power" ISPs have always had? 🤣

2
patr10t 2 points ago +2 / -0

The thing is, it turns out it takes a good amount of work to prove you are net neutral. From what I was reading it would cost several dollars per customer per month for a very small ISP to prove they were net neutral. In effect net neutrality helped reduce ISP competition even more

Citizens United case which gave corporations rights as if they were actual people

Corporations were legal entities in the US since ... I don't know how long but this is really old. It was a debated issue then. CU did something else, making money "speech," and the opposite of getting money out of politics. Basically it allowed Soros to buy AGs and DAs.

I studied that one in college and did a presentation. This was about the same year al gore and the convenient lie film just came out. People still believe in the ozone holes which was debunked decades ago. It's a natural phenomenon. It takes place over each hemisphere during it's winters when there is less direct sun light hitting the upper atmosphere. That's how 03 (ozone) is made. Light particles excite the 02 (oxygen) molecules and convert to ozone. You ever smell a battery charging on an RC toy car or something when you're a kid? That electric smell is because the battery is doing the same thing the sun does to the oxygen around the battery.

Interesting thing: The spot in the ozone layer continued to shrink and become essentially non-existent because the U.S. acknowledged a problem that was actually happening in the now, it took care of it.

Almost like when something is a problem, we get off our asses and solve it instead of the UN trying to throw their weight at us as if they have any power or jurisdiction over us.

Quick edit: And the problem wasn't even hard to solve. Didn't take $10 trillion dollars in federal funding for something less efficient that generates more waste over time (solar)

6
PinochetIsMyHero 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yep, just the U.S.'s and Europe's consumer emissions alone were sufficient, it didn't take China, India, Latin America, or the USSR destroying all their old equipment and replacing it to make anything better! In fact, not even the U.S. MILITARY needed to stop -- they still use good old Halon fire suppressants and test the systems annually! Which was over half of our emissions of CFCs.

It's just fine that people die in house fires when they could have been saved with a Halon system. It's cool that we had to replace a lot of A/C equipment, and then had to do it again when the next generation of refrigerants also magically turned out to eat holes in the ozone layer and also rubber seals in A/C equipment. We can afford those costs, just like we can afford all the illegal immigrants on welfare and need to take in more of them.

1
Wtf_socialismreally 1 point ago +1 / -0

You're being facetious, but it was a lot more gradual than you're making it out to be. It's not like they went to everyone's homes and confiscated every source.

It was a gradual push to market over time that happened organically.

It was more generally accepted than climate change is, because everything suddenly causes it and every projection they've made has failed.

On the old subreddit, someone posted a really old picture of insert X bridge here (don't remember which) and a current picture from roughly the same position and sea level was the same.

All these people crying that the coasts will be flooded keep buying up coastal properties and building mansions, e.g. directly benefitting from an agenda

4
Trump2024 4 points ago +5 / -1

This is all true. Now we need to agree to pay a lot more taxes, kill all the cows, stop using petroleum based anything and stop driving cars. But mostly we need to pay a lot more taxes so Al Gore can fly around in a private jet to trade carbon credits. Oh and ignore China, hey look over there!

2
ProudWhiteMan 2 points ago +2 / -0

yep CFC causing the ozone hole was the only man made problem and we've solved it. Modern global warming is as insidious as it is because the planet is naturally warming and there is no way to revert it so it's an issue to people who believe earth climate is something stagnant when it has always shifted to cold and warm epochs.

1
_Sully_ 1 point ago +1 / -0

What's actually ridiculous is that China, right now, is emitting more CFCs in 6 months than the United States did from the time they were invented to the time they were outlawed.

Another thing that was never mentioned regarding the ozone layer, there was a thinning of the layer in Antarctica but only seasonally. Between March and May the ozone layer would thin out in a certain section of the atmosphere and thicken up the rest of the year. The ozone layer didn't have a hole. It would reduce in thickness seasonally. It still does this.

1
Wtf_socialismreally 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well, at this point it's pointless to argue whether it was real or wasn't: We can't go back, and that history was written.

Climate change, on the other hand, is a straight up current debate with constant legitimate criticism and a shrinking amount of scrutiny is being applied to it due to the left's oppressive tactics.

The Ozone layer at least was presented with people from different backgrounds having mostly agreement on it and didn't take a lot of resources to correct.

To fix climate change, everything needs to change, apparently. Racism is causing climate change. Gender inequality is causing climate change. Someone who is more popular of a YouTuber getting a larger raise than $20000 is racist and that causes climate change.

You existing causes climate change.

If you don't vote Hillary you are causing climate change.

If you don't vote Harris Biden you are causing climate change.

Julian Assange was the first person who caused climate change when he released Hillary Clinton's emails.

All the obfuscation that we saw from scientists until they pulled out 300 scientists that no one knows or gives a fuck about discredits and "debunks" out of the profession, and all of the other stuff.

Meanwhile if you watch current science shows, you hear words like "we are at a hot point in the sun's cycles", as if the truth is being put out there but not being ascribed as affecting anything.

And then you get to renewable energies; not every renewable energy fits every locale. Some places are windy and don't have a massive power draw requirement so wind is good. However, it also causes the deaths of a lot of birds.

Solar is expensive, and gets replaced fairly frequently. The efficiency is nowhere near coal, and the efficiency looks to have a max upper limit that we're getting closer to, though we may have breakthroughs on materials someday that we can't anticipate right this second.

But creating a solar panel takes more energy for production than you will probably get out of it, releasing more pollution in the air.

Plus you need batteries, and that becomes an issue. Furthermore, not all regions can utilize solar to a notably useful or efficient degree because most days are overcast or cold.

Then in Democrat run shitholes, they either outright prevent you from using solar for reasons or you have to jump through hoops. Imagine having Whitless as the head of your state and having it under her prevent you from supplementing your power draw with solar.

Like quick tangential rant: Michigan has seasons where it's incredibly sunny and hot out, clear skies as far as the eye can see. These seasons coincide with heavy air conditioning use. But under the empress, I can't install clean energy and use it to supplement our nuclear and coal plants because reasons. Almost like the agenda is more than just clean energy.

Then there are hydroelectric. These power houses can be expensive to build and require maintenance, but don't require a constant and large scale production and purchasing of solar panels and batteries.

It can also serve a purpose of making certain areas hospitable than weren't before. They're pretty efficient, totally fine for the environment.

Except apparently it causes local fish wildlife problems.

Then there's the one boogeyman they don't want to accept: Nuclear. A virtually limitless energy source with essentially infinite room for growth in terms of efficiency, and it's clean for the air in regards to pollution.

But it has a drawback of waste that we need to store and destroy so it doesn't get into the environment. Had we spent more financial $ into research of this energy type and how to deal with the waste in a safe and responsible way, our power usage would be even more clean that it is today.

It's also safe: Outside of natural disasters that the plant isn't rated for, like Fukushima, nuclear power plants are maintained constantly, built to strict standards and are inspected on a fairly tight schedule.

They are also building new standards, always, for safety with new technology.

Plants can be safely shut down, decommissioned and repurposed into a new standard in a fairly reasonable amount of time.

So what I'm saying:

Fuck the left and their inconsistent bullshit piece of trash ever shifting agendas that they push. They can never keep their stories straight and veil it under "n e w i n f o r m a t i o n while ignoring other options to reach the goals set up.

90's was also "acid rain will kill everything"

1
magnokor 1 point ago +1 / -0

How could that be forgotten?

Thank you. That was something big, for the loud and crazy people.

The NAPAP reported in 1990. The findings were explosive: first, acid rain had not injured forests or crops in US or Canada; second, acid rain had no observable effect on human health; third, only a small number of lakes had been acidified by acid rain and these could be rehabilitated by adding lime to the water. In summary, acid rain was a nuisance, not a catastrophe.

https://www.irishtimes.com/news/science/what-made-the-acid-rain-myth-finally-evaporate-1.900603

What made the acid rain myth finally evaporate?

So it was mainly a hysteria promoted by Canada and their Prime Minister Trudeau.

P Trudeau, a father-like figure to J Trudeau.

We're in a REGULAR interglacial period. It happens to be one of the cooler of all recorded interglacial periods of the past 450,000 years, IIRC. Once it is over, we'll return to another sustained glacial period.

Nothing about the current climate trends appears to be historically abnormal.

CO2 spikes and rising temperatures are standard characteristics of interglacial periods, and seem to be directly tied to solar radiation output. As the ice from the glacial period melts, more and more solar energy is absorbed onto the earth's surface, as there is less ice coverage to reflect it. This creates a self-sustaining warming trend.

I'm not entirely sure what triggers the cooling trend, and scientists don't seem to have a certain explanation either--it's more or less undetermined. In any case, once the cooling trend begins, solar output and rising temperatures/CO2 doesn't seem to be able to interrupt or reverse it. It sustains, and no one really knows for certain why. It's suspected it may have something to do with orbital eccentricities and precessions.

It might also be the case that an interglacial periods produce better conditions to process more CO2, and some kind of threshold is reached where the CO2 being naturally consumed outpaces the CO2 being produced. But I'm not even sure that could be necessarily causal (seems more like it would be supplemental), since there are instances where CO2 levels don't correlate with other temperature/ice readings.

The China Virus shutdown was/is a dry run to set legal precedents and behavoral expectations for something much bigger.

Routine shutdowns based on equally bogus "climate change" claims made by equally bogus "experts."

You can only drive on certain days of the week, only own so many cars, people can only operate certain businesses, throttling/limiting power plant production, scheduled gray-outs and blackouts, shutting down construction projects, etc.

Unlike an "epidemic," the climate can't be fixed, only responded to... so it will become the ongoing, never ending "new normal."

All designed and pushed by China through their control of social media and key puppets in our government to diminish the economic standing of America in relation to them.

Right now the main concern is a massive methane release from the Siberian permafrost, creating a feedback loop. That region is heating up year after year and the methane trapped in the ice could greenhouse the shit out of our atmosphere if that ice melts and releases it, causing more warming to melt more ice to release more methane to cause more warming. It's a massive region and methane is 50x worse than typical CO2 greenhouses gasses.

I'm no supporter of the left's climate agenda, at all, but I AM deeply concerned about how bad shit could get really really fast. And I certainly wouldn't try to claim that this WILL happen. I think it might, like we are playing russian roulette, hoping things will work out.

4
wholesomekangz100 4 points ago +4 / -0

greenhouses gasses

Nigga water vapor is the biggest greenhouse gas by far. I bet you didn't get indoctrinated about that. Methane is not some doomsday device. Climate change is the apocalypse for the religion of "I luv science" soy chugging midwits.

Specific heat capacity

Water: 4.2J/g

Methane: 2.2 J/g

CO2: 0.8 J/g

While methane is higher than CO2 it's nowhere near the abundance of water vapor or the danger of water vapor. Earth goes through cycles of warming and freezing. Even if human civilization wasn't there, the climate wouldn't have been any cooler than it's now. Stop worrying

1
PDXTrumpSupporter 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well I never said it's the worst. I'm just saying that there's a titanic amount of methane that could suddenly get released into the atmosphere, and methane is a really bad greenhouse gas.
I believe you about water vapor, but where's the conflict between what you and I are saying?
