For anyone who likes rap, there's a rapper called Tom MacDonald who's a bit of a culture warrior. He's not very famous at all but has a growing audience. He is completely independent (no record label or manager or anyone telling him what he can do- he just uploads his songs to YouTube and books all his own tours. He and his girlfriend do all the music and videos and mixing). It's nice to see someone so openly anti-leftist culture in rap. Yeah, I like that you can actually understand him. He's very articulate. He does have a lot of other songs where he swears though. Nothing about Hos or anything dumb like that. He mostly critiques the things rap and the entertainment industry/culture at large glorify. His songs on race are very good too. Whiteboy is decent, If I Was Black is really good and shows that he understands both sides of the issue. This House is my favorite. He goes off in it and it really gets me fired up.

Run to the Hills was #5 on the pop charts, but they refused to play it on the air. They would skip from #6 to #4 without mentioning it. The Trooper was one of the most requested songs on MTV for a long time.

Maiden's first 8 albums went platinum. Everything else they released went gold except for a couple that came out in the mid 90s.

WASP was never as successful as Maiden, but singer Blackie Lawless was one of the rockers that had to testify before Tipper Gore's PMRC.

Old school metal fan here, I used to hang on every album. I was first exposed to luciferian ideas through metal, which is the purpose of the genre. Iron Maiden is rather less explicit on the subject than some other metal bands, obviously. For instance, I see the exoteric meaning you've ascribed to Powerslave, but my take on that song in combination with the album art which teenaged me took to glorify luciferian symbols, was a statement that mortality was the one final barrier to becoming a god on earth that man had yet to crack. But the message came at a time when cloning, computers, and other such things seemed to imply that mortality may be coming to an end.

The idea that life is repeating over and over, clearly enunciated in "Hallowed be thy name" was, IMO, the "payload" that song was meant to convey. Coupled with the righteous chords, it's an easy way to slip a-Christian ideas into the beliefs of 80s teens like myself.

Or how about "Moonchild"? Or "The Nomad" ("Nomad, rider of the ancient east?")?

I agree, there are far more explicitly satanic metal bands out there, and further, I don't dislike these bands because I disagree with their message, I enjoy a bit of depraved and degenerate hip hop now and then too. I'm just saying, Iron Maiden isn't really "based" and certainly doesn't convey a Christian message. And as I've learned over the years, if it's not Christian, it's in the service of Satan.

No judgment, no hate for the band, nothing like that. I'm just strictly applying the OP's request to the band. :)

The lead singer of WASP was a total freak until he became a born again Christian. Headless Children is actually about authoritarian govt (think neo cons and Dems) and child trafficking.

Most of the supposedly "satanic" stuff is actually warnings. I still kick it to Metallica, Megadeath, and sometimes Slayer.

I never knew about this contest. Listened to them all today. Well, those that haven't been deleted. Their video is great! She sings really well.

There are SO many that are really good! We have some very talented and creative based people on our side. Some really change it at to bring the "I'm gonna stab your daughter at the mall" part, that needs real intensity to carry the words. Some do an actual ending, which this needs.

I'd turn it into a whole album. There's SO much material there! Videos have tons of great articles, footage, and other redpills. One used Minneapolis cops for the part about "we love our Somalis," etc. Prescient, considering this was 2017.

Hell, just the titles are fun to read through. I wonder how many were done by members here? Sergeant Pepe's spicy memes club band?

I can't remember every detail, but it's kind of true. It was an undercover ATF agent or informant acting as a member of the local Aryan brotherhood that convinced Weaver to saw the barrels of off 2 shotguns to the length of an SBS so that they could charge him with the illegal weapons manufacturing charges that started the whole fiasco. And he was acquitted - or not prosecuted, can't remember exactly - of those charges in the end.

Straight white male speaks to me lol. In January i served 10 days in county jail for missing a court date for driving on a suspended. Throughout those 10 days i went through 6 cell mates all black who were in for actual crimes. If you agree with someone on everything that means you are a robot. We all have different experiences, backgrounds, etc... so our perspectives will always be slightly different. I actually feel like his candor should be the default because censoring ourselves only really prevents us from solving the big problems our society faces. We cannot afford to tread around the issues and avoid asking the difficult and uncomfortable questions. That's how we got into the mess we currently find ourselves in. If I remember correctly, the lore of the song (The Coheed and Cambria/Afterman story) is about how the scientist (Sirius Amory) went into Heaven's Fence and the Stars of Sirius (named after him) to find out what they were compromised of. When he found out that they are essentially powered by the souls of people who died, he had to lie about his findings to the public. Which is why it's called "The Hard Sell."

It's been years since I read the book about the albums though, so I may have some information off. Either way, the story of Coheed and Cambria is pretty awesome. The Afterman series was one of the first ones where Claudio started talking about what influenced him for each song. That then progressed into Color Before The Sun, which was supposed to be a Prize Fighter Inferno album originally. However, he wanted to take Coheed in a slightly different direction for an album.

The Dream Theater song you have listed was written by the band's guitarist, John Petrucci, who's actually a conservative if not low-key Trump supporter. The fact that everyone else in the band at the time may not have identified as such and still recorded the song is irrelevant IMO; a based song was written by a based person.

You need to read a history book. Johnson did not get us into that war, Kennedy did. Johnson signed the 60's civil rights laws that ended segregation.

Cronkite and others lied about Vietnam and it was the first time that fucking liberal media successfully forced an administration to bend to it's will.

The threat of Communism was very strong then, and we were trying to stop it everywhere it was sprouting, all over the globe. Seriously, you need to fucking read history.

That was 1968. In 2020 we have that domestic threat underscored by overt support by Soros and Red China. It is worse now than then, but the song absolutely fits.

i aint no knucklehead haha, first off, I wouldn't defend Johnson, he passed one of the largest gun control laws of all time and passed a litany of enormously expensive and largely unsuccessful typical Dem social welfare policies. He put est. 70k ish more troops into Vietnam. The gulf of tonkin accident seemed quite similar to the WMD's. Gave us the green light to go head on. That was Johnson. Ultimately, it cost us 60,000 american lives. Our use of agent orange and the breeding of chemical warfare was dastardly, and a decent proportion of Vietnamese children are handicapped even today because of it. I'm not here saying war is all unnecessary, though I am however certainly a firm believer in the idea that we don't need to meddle in every country's affairs, nor should we draft people to do it. I am of the belief that we should bolster our military as much as possible and defend our land. I feel many wars we've been brought into have been put in place by higher powers of government for reasons beyond just the safety of our country, i.e, Bush in the middle east. On Nam, We practically lost that war, and withdrew as South Vietnam was vanquished. I dont think Vietnam was a necessity, I think we jumped the gun on it. I am in firm agreement that we are in our own cold civil war now, both within our own country and with China (and seemingly most of Europe as well), and i support practically everything trump is doing with our military, as I trust him far more than nearly any president. I am young and no expert in every avenue of history, but I don't know, looking back, if we can all agree that was a clean job.

Now I do music for Portland Andy here and there (for Portland Andy people, I'm Skinnee) and I'm working on a based thrash/grindcore album, which I know conservatives will enjoy, and that makes me happy. My point is, we are here, we are all together, let's entertain each other.

I love us. Whether carpenters or electricians or soldiers or doctors or lawyers or artists or landscapers, we are all great people.
