Unconstitutional age discrimination. Everyone in the discriminated age group should get together behind a class-action lawsuit against the state.

Nah, pot isn't even that popular in Boulder it's just a bunch of rich hippie wannabes that drink craft beer all day at overpriced bars and restaurants

You've gotta be fucking kidding me with this bullshit. They are college kids. So everyone they come into "close contact" with is now a "probable" case.

This shit is sheer lunacy.

And we are letting it happen.

This is a complete failure and breakdown of representative Government.

Ma5e 28 points ago +33 / -5

It's overrated. The first couple of times, sure it's fun. Heightens the senses. Once in a while use, you can retain that feeling. But once you get to the joe rogan stage, it's just like drinking craft beers at overpriced bars and restaurants.

Why does everyone on this forum hate beer and good restaurants? Live a little

My first time was at a reggae festival in a tropical island. Maybe environment was a factor?

-6
MN_Centipede -6 points ago +27 / -33

Yup. After those few times, you need more and more. Pot can be extremely addictive. Instead of feeling hungry in morning for instance, your stomach will start to hurt for pot. It seriously messes up your digestive system.

Withdrawals are very real at that advanced stage too. Regular user who tries to quit will be an emotional wreck, easily irritable, sweaty hands, sleepless nights, dry heaving, etc. Hell.

It’s fun a few times. But make it your hobby and it will slowly ruin your life. Will take years of retrospection for addicts to realize this, takes one to know one.. Muh pot isn’t addictive!!!!

23
Howz3r420 23 points ago +29 / -6

You are mistaking weed for a different drug. None if what you justvsaid is true, about weed. Maybe heroin and meth, but going through "hell" to quit smoking weed is ridiculous.

12
anon1011101 12 points ago +13 / -1

It absolutely is psychologically addictive. As a pothead in my younger days I would freak out if my stash ran out and I couldn't get more.

11
Juice 11 points ago +11 / -0

A couple years ago I would have scoffed at this...but it's true...watching someone very near to me quit smoking weed after a decade of extremely heavy use was an eye opener

The only thing Liberals are good at: restaurants.

32
somercet 32 points ago +35 / -3

They aren't good at it. That's why they import the Third World for mostly-decent ethnic food: no real American would tolerate the Leftist police state in the cities.

14
CousinEddie 14 points ago +14 / -0

I always enjoyed going out for sushi when I lived in chicago. A couple of asian babes up front and serving as waitresses, an entire kitchen full of mexicans.

11

Lol all the hibachi chefs in north Carolina are mexican

16
Flipbarryfromreddit 16 points ago +17 / -1

You mean destroying them? Y’all have seen how disrespectful they are to ppl eating right? Smashing their drinks and plates on the table bc they’re white

14
buckinghampi 14 points ago +15 / -1

I'm referring to the fact that most of the restaurants I've been to in cities, have great food, but are 90% likely to be Liberal owned.

10
Sky_Boss 10 points ago +14 / -4

I'd call most of those owners fake liberals. They put on fronts to get permits, and to keep the employees from rioting. But I can't really imagine a business owner who is betting so much money on hard work, and a terrifying amount of luck, being a true liberal.

14
VoterIDMatters 14 points ago +14 / -0

Then you’ve never met a restaurant owner in a big city

They’re some of the most rabid anti-trumpets there are

2
Flipbarryfromreddit 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ohhhhhh okay, gotchu man. Fr? Why do you think that is? Very interesting

1
buckinghampi 1 point ago +1 / -0

Probably because most cities are overwhelmingly full of liberals like NYC and DC and if you're going to be a successful restaurant in a busy city, your food can't be trash

1

11

It’s true. If they could just stick to food and beverages, we’d be able to get along just fine. Problem is that the sous-chefs and baristas feel they understand foreign policy and macro economic.

8
Sumarongi 8 points ago +8 / -0

Meh. If another overpriced, hipster, tapas, ‘new American’ bullshit restaurant opens in my town, I’m going to shoot myself.

27
CousinEddie 27 points ago +27 / -0 (edited)

You would've loved the 2010s in chicago. Every new restaurant was exactly the same. Even to the naming, it was hilariously unoriginal but those liberal dipshits thought it was the coming of christ.

Owen & Engine. Donkey & Stick. Retard & Abel. Everyone had to have an X & Y name.

Their menus were full of "farm to table" yoga babble. Each was required to have at least 20 edison bulbs In the bar, steel chairs painted to look aged, exposed brick and ductwork wherever possible.

Staff was also lemming like. Quirky girls with giant eyeglasses and tattoos. Fag bartenders in lumberjack shirts and spiral twisted moustaches. Anyone who was gay had to be as fabulous and loud as possible.

$30 burgers and $18 bloody Marys. All the restaurant sites creamed themselves with how stunning and brave these new concepts were. Liberal idiots waited in lines to eat. The 3rd largest city in america and these dopes are waiting in a line to eat.

Liberals will literally stand outside for an hour or more for a cheeseburger and french fries. Just so they can say they went there and talk about it. Standing for a fucking HOUR to eat a burger. It was unreal

Northwest New mexico and have never been to Boulder but it seems to me the farther north you go from the southern Colorado border the more granola they eat. And the more bikes they ride.

I mean durango is such a beautiful little down. If only you didn't literally have to be made of money to even afford a small ass apartment in a town that literally has barely any people in it. You go 4 miles out of town and prices plummet. Very weird. I cant even begin to imagine how much it costs to live in Denver

6
Backslash2099 6 points ago +6 / -0

Every college town is very blue in Colorado but every other town with some exceptions are either purple or pretty red.

RegularAmerican 11 points ago +11 / -0

I don't even know anymore potheads everyone's doing meth and heroin.

11
mythrowaway_09262020 11 points ago +11 / -0

This is or was accurate. I was in the camp who thought that legal weed would decrease abuse of other drugs in Colorado. What actually happened was that , cartels that had been involved in weed just switched to meth and heroin and the stats for those skyrocketed... maybe 2018? I read about the stats in the news around then. I haven’t seen anything more recent than that but can’t imagine abuse or deaths have improved under the scamdemic.

I don’t have a source but I’m pretty much admitting I was wrong about something so the worst anyone can throw at me is that I’m wrong about being mistaken ;)

11
RegularAmerican 11 points ago +11 / -0

I don't think the popularity of marijuana is what made this shit explode weeds been popular a long time. The open border policies flooded us with cheap narcotics

8
mythrowaway_09262020 8 points ago +8 / -0

I cheered so hard when Trump came out hard against narcoterrorism and narcotics.

7
RegularAmerican 7 points ago +7 / -0

I like how he actually came up with a real solution meant to stop the source and funding. Not just expand the police state and intrude on our liberty.

4
Colonel_Chestbridge 4 points ago +4 / -0

Legalization brought in all the degenerates from every state. That’s what ruined Colorado. I wish they either never did it, or legalized it nationally.

1
OneBigMaga 1 point ago +2 / -1

People who have a healthy, and happy life don't need drugs. States that make drugs legal turn into shitholes.

2
PepesCovfefe [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

People have to be nuts to touch anything like that; it’s all laced with fentanyl.

2
RegularAmerican 2 points ago +2 / -0

Particularly the heroin. they do make a cheap reagent test like the ravers used to use for their ecstasy pills back in the day. It can let you know if you've got some with fentanyl. Most junkies don't have that foresight

1
OneBigMaga 1 point ago +1 / -0

Can you say Gateway Drug?

7
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 7 points ago +7 / -0

On an individual basis, nothing wrong with weed. I like to hike and smoke myself. But it ruins societies. The stoner culture is cancer.

7
mythrowaway_09262020 7 points ago +7 / -0 (edited)

Not to pry but also a chronic pain sufferer who got hooked bad on pain pills from 2002-2008, then went through the wringer being loopy as shit on alternatives like gabapentin and lyrica....

I would lay in bed writing in agony in my legs and back muscles mostly, for hours unable to sleep. I tried Kratom which worked briefly and I started going down the tolerance route very quickly, to where I had deja vu from pain pills and said nope fuck this not again.......

Weed is too psychoactive for me but the “calm “ brand is stacked more CBD with a pinch of THC ... this is NOT a plug for a brand , like anyone who does not like psychoactive effects from THC , there’s probably other brands that are like 75% CBD and 25% or less THC. It does help with pain and it does not make me so fucked up I can’t even get across the room lol.

I was in school to be a drug counselor , decided it wasn’t for me , but yeah, reactions are anywhere from euphoric to nightmare world and you can’t predict who will be who.

After years of misery and barely managed pain with legal and or legalish medications , there’s something called a “theragun” massager that changed my life. 10 minutes of it on my legs and the muscle cramps and pains are gone for the night.

So like no, drugs necessary for me.

I had a medical card in Arizona, but weed is not legal in my current state and I own a firearm, controlled substance users are actually ineligible to own / possess, ya know, say what you want about that but it is what it is. I opted out of using the calm brand stuff because of ... weed being illegal in my state, and the fact that I now own guns. I do follow laws even if I think they’re dumb.

The theragun actually works quicker and better than any of that shit short of being roasted on oxy and roxy all day. Crazy that for as high as I was all the time, on that shit, the feds are still like mmm weed is bad mmkay

I tell this story enough, with enough specifics that I don’t want it in my regular comment history but I did want to mention it to any other Pedes who might be laying awake writhing in pain , and on and off any of the aforementioned drugs / meds and still suffering anyway.

2
roscoeSteele 2 points ago +2 / -0

Seriously - I wouldn't be but nsaids don't cut it

2
OneBigMaga 2 points ago +2 / -0

Here is a crazy question. Have you tried working out? I had back problems all my life, I even spent the better part of a week in bed because of back pain. Once I started working out, doing things that are "Terrible for your back" like deadlifts, my back pain vanished. I occasionally do have the morning back stiffness from sleeping wrong, but that usually goes away pretty quick and I've never had any real pain like I used to.

I am in my 50s now and work out a couple times a week at home, using my own equipment, and I feel pretty good.

One thing that I would recommend against, is squats, if you have bad knees. Since you knees are mostly cartilage and such, exercising them will not make them feel better and can do a lot more damage.

It’s not even age discrimination, it’s a flat out due process violation of the highest order.

It should stand no chance on review should someone file for declaratory judgment or a TRO/injunction but you’ll end up with a judge that thinks, we have to abrogate all our rights whenever they’re a virus going around!

Is it? Or will this legally be seen as simply rolling back restrictions where it counts? I mean really, anything this might help should work itself out in 2 weeks. And nothing gets through any Court that fast.

7
Oskar 7 points ago +7 / -0

This is why people shouldn't comply with these things. By the time it gets declared illegal its already over, so it never gets adjudicated and declared illegal, and the next time they do it its still not illegal, in fact, it's the new normal.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ok, so what's the best way to " resist" this bs, as much as I hate to use that word? Let's forget this instance because everybody who lives there says these sheeple will comply. Let's discuss how to handle it where we are.

My County Sheriff is based. Once my D Governor issued a 60 day mask order which is set to expire per State Constitution, he issued a statement that there will be no response to just a mask complaint, but he won't tolerate disorderliness. Nobody's said a word to me, neither have I been hostile to anyone with the muzzle. Which is almost everybody.

Lockdowns are a much bigger deal. Anyone operating a shop can't very well hide if they're open, although some bars did operate as speakeasies. This looks like mask compliance being leveraged for a return to lockdowns, except now we know enough to rebel, unlike on March 16.

What ideas do you have to stop the malarkey?

4
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 4 points ago +4 / -0

Aren't minorities more affected than whites? Should they lock all the minorities in their homes?

College students never protest against their colleges.

Raise tuition 5000% over 10 years. Charge $300 for a printed out "textbook" that the professor wrote.

Demand they take 20 classes unrelated to their major.

You can piss and shit all over them, and then point them to some external agitator to protest about.

They've perfected it.

"Oh look kids, white people! Get em!"

From my understanding, they can do something if during the jury selection interviews they asked you about jury nullification and you respond you know nothing or will not do it and do it anyway. Not 100% positive on this but this is my understanding.

Then again a lot of judges are petty tyrants and do whatever they want feeling confident the courts will acquiesces to anything they want (as seen in the Flynn case).

^ Remember that in many cases it's the preponderance of evidence rather than reasonable doubt.

5
edxzxz 5 points ago +5 / -0

It does exist, but it's an extreme remedy available to the judge if the evidence is so one sided and clear that no rational jury could reach the verdict they did reach, so the judge substitutes his own. If you got convicted this way, the standard for the judge to have used this remedy is such a high bar, overturning it on appeal would be likely. Judges don't like to be overturned, so they really never do this.

This. Folks keep thinking that law enforcement or the FBI gets all CSI when someone is...removed...from a mile away, but the reality is they really don't.
I once worked with a guy who retired from the FBI and all he did was evidence collection from PCs, phones, tablets, etc.

The FBI has 56 field offices and over 300 smaller offices within those field office areas.

You know one inept guy at a desk job so suddenly people can easily get away with murder?

Anecdotes are not a good way to make judgments.

I hope no one seriously considers your retarded comment.

They are also the age group least likely to get noticeably sick from the fake plandemic.

Asymptomatic for most of them, and next to zero deaths out of tens of thousands, unless they were already on the way out for other medical reasons.

It would be really interesting to have real data on that. We know this is all a planned attempt to destroy the US as a sovereign Nation and cause chaos that's unmanageable. Then accept globalist help, with eternal conditions.

Do not comply.

Go to the CDC’s website or any other WuFlu trackers, the death rate for them is laughably low. I’m a 20 year old who got it and I’ve had colds worse than it.

Just waiting until our schools, K-12, are declared to have an outbreak. Kids will be held hostage. Parents won't be allowed in. Kids won't be allowed out until the whole family has the vaccine, with proof. Get a significant portion of the population to take it, then it's easy to mandate it.

I hope I'm wrong.

The dumbest thing is this "wear your mask in a restaurant". Okay I'm gonna wear a mask as I enter, walk to my table, take off my mask, order food, put on my mask to go to the restroom, return to my table, take off my mask, sit and eat for an hour, put on my mask, leave.

It's just fucking stupid. I laughed the first time someone asked me to wear a mask as I entered. I'm gonna be sitting and breathing and farting for the next hour and a half.

Young people and middle aged people have a 99.99% survival rate. The vast majority of COVID deaths are in nursing homes.

Then you look into all the whistleblowers, remember all those female nurses who did videos whistleblowing what was going on in hospitals and nursing homes?

They stop giving the old people ALL drugs, just not COVID treatments. You were on anti-depressants? They stop giving them. They just let the old people die. You were on blood pressure medicine? Not anymore. Most of the elderly covid deaths were because of neglect if not outright killing them.

Traitors need to pay

39
LadyOfLorien 39 points ago +39 / -0

This happened to a friend of ours before covid. We were her only medical advocates and literally, every time we turned our backs they were denying her IV fluids, or starving her to death, or refusing to give her her medications.

The medical profession is repulsive.

12
TimeIsARetardedOval 12 points ago +12 / -0

Is/was she okay?

12
LadyOfLorien 12 points ago +12 / -0

Sort of. Through a combination of effort on our part and grit on her part, she survived sepsis, liver failure, kidney failure, hell, almost everything failure. She started her last decline back in January - we knew it was the end when she stopped stealing medical supplies from the nursing home and hospital.

She died in February during surgery. We realised later that it was the one year anniversary of her sister's death and we think she just...gave up.

King 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nazis won the war

18
ProdigalSon1997 18 points ago +19 / -1

why all drugs? i assume they deliberately leave the old people to painfully die to report covid deaths?

24
ReclaimYourDestiny 24 points ago +24 / -0

Yeah, it's mainly just to kill them. If you take a regular 30 year old who has been on an anti-depressant for 5 years. Suddenly not taking that medication anymore will cause severe side effects, agony, withdrawal, all sorts of stuff.

Then when you have an 80 year old who has been taking an antidepressant for 5 years and refuse to give it to them. Imagine the horror and pain when their bodies are already vulnerable. It's murder. It's happened everywhere, USA, UK, etc.

Doctors hand out meds like candy to old people. Most old people, even healthy smart ones are on at least 5 or 6 different meds. When you take them all away it's almost sure death, it's a shock to the body.

I went to that gay site Reddit awhile back to see what they were saying and some douchebag had a virtue signalling post. "I'm a local grocery clerk, please just let me work." He explained that, "I know you all want to come thank me for working. But we have to socially distance. We are all in this together. I can't tell you how many times people have come up to me to thank me working during the Pandemic. Just know that I know you appreciate what I'm doing. Try to get in and out of the store as quickly as possible. I just want to go to work and stock items for the public, then return home safely. We're all in this together."

Swear I read that shit. Just fucking LOL, everybody was circlejerking about how brave he was. Just honk.

He gave up and I said thanks. I also walked by the rude cashier and said "does it feel good acting like a maoist red guard?" And then saw a young boy about 9 or 10 with a bandana pulled down off his face around his neck. I told him "don't let them scare you buddy there's nothing to worry about, it's okay to breathe the air"

The same thing happened at San Diego State recently - 700 positive students in a short time period but only 1 of them had to be hospitalized and she's fine now. The vast majority were asymptomatic. They should just keep passing it around til they all get it, then they'll be good til next flu season...

Out of the positive tests, how many unique persons? Could be less than half. How many of those have Influence A or B? The test can't tell.

This is all bs.

They really aren't in a position to rule over this as if they were a Judge. On school grounds, they're there to enforce school policy as directed by school staff. Within city limits, they're there to carry out the whims of the Mayor.

8
wholesomekangz100 8 points ago +8 / -0

Just following ze orders

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

This might count as "color of law" or some such, but these rapidly changing conditions are damn hard for a cop to keep up with. Let alone expecting them to do a legal analysis of. Anything of that nature should be done at HQ. Higher ranks get paid more for making good decisions with the responsibility of command.

The faulty leap of logic too often seen here is since a cop will follow orders on complex matters like this, that same cop will violate CLEARLY unconstitutional directives like trying to disarm the whole public, including killing people in the process. That just doesn't follow, especially when so many cops have spoken out plainly on the subject.

Red flag laws are basically designed to condition cops to do exactly this, and need to be overturned.

Yet they have REAL crime and disorder and chaos LITERALLY RIGHT DOWN THE STREET, and they dont give a shit about their safety. My coworkers many of whom are midnight levels of democrat blue all blame the DRUMPF and refuse to take in the mass wealth of other information out there or even try to see the other side's point of view. They explain away the riots by saying things like the riots are needed and buildings can be rebuilt to which I point out why hasn't Detroit rebuilt after their riots and they unwittingly say because no one wants to live there anymore... What's keeping our town from becoming Detroit then huh? Who's going to want to live here with 24/7/365 riots, looting and murder, these people only think a few steps ahead and only get scared when shit gets real outside their door when their lives become what's been happening on the TV screen they've been explaining away.

You'd be surprised how skilled liberals are at blaming republicans for all their problems despite not a single republican being in charge of anything in their area. The mental gymnastics are legendary.

Hell I've legit gotten an argument from someone that really, really sounded like the ghosts of dead republicans were stopping them from passing laws.

8

In 2020 all scams lead to forced mail in voting:

  • virus to scare old people from volunteering to work the polls

  • rioters will hit polling locations that do open to terrorize people trying to vote in person

  • now literally making laws that give cops pretense to arrest people who dare show up in person to vote

74

This is so retarded. But it's bad because we are almost getting immune to it at this point. Tazed for not wearing a mask WHILE social distancing in the fresh open air? Arrested for singing hymns to God while not wearing a mask? What is anyone doing to stop this? What CAN anyone do??

25
ProdigalSon1997 25 points ago +26 / -1

the difficult thing is that not one person can do it but it has to be like hundreds and hundreds and hundreds banding together and peacefully protesting, or even forcefully removing these commie assholes from office

15
CuomoisaMassMurderer 15 points ago +16 / -1

The time for peaceful protest is long past. The 2A rally in VA proved that on 1/20/20. The time to physically remove 40+ Governors from Office under citizen's arrest for mass murder was 3/31, up til 5/22. Since then it would be substantially harder, but still easier than our next opportunities. Anything after the election gets incredibly more costly, but still necessary.

There are a couple towns that have come pretty close this year. I saw a video of some old normies so angry they broke the door down to a city meeting. I heard about a town in my region where they all shoved their way in to a meeting they were being told they were barred from sitting in on.

It takes time to build people up to action. The Rev War had like a 10-year run-up before a single shot was fired. If, at any point in that period, the Crown had just left us alone, we might still be British citizens, but they just couldn't keep their hands off.

We have seen both. Just face the fact that its about 50-50 good-bad.

Not everything is black and white, and commies like to take advantage of our opinions by twisting and exaggerating them and turning them into perversions of what we really think.

Feels bad for Colorado. The state has really great scenery, but is unfortunately going the road of California. Denver has basically turned into L.A with libshits and homeless everywhere.

15
HumphreyBeans 15 points ago +15 / -0

The rest of the State is great (except some of the wealthy ski towns like Aspen). Counties have significant autonomy in the State. Colorado Springs and Grand Junction are nothing like Denver culturally or politically. I see more Trump supporters than anything. Very few people wearing masks. People just living their lives. Enjoying life. Not living in fear or anger.

The order said the county has seen 1,392 confirmed or probable COVID-19 cases among CU Boulder students in the age group since classes began August 24.

How many deaths, though? The article does not mention any deaths, or even anyone hospitalized. Any time they use number of cases as a reason to lock down or restrict freedom, ask how many deaths? If it's none or negligible, laugh in their face.

They love to ram controversial things like gun control, BLM-approved police bills thru as a emergency measure which means no committee hearings or public comment. Just what the leaders of the shithole cities of Hartford, New Haven and Bridgeport want and ignore the rest of the state.

4
CuomoisaMassMurderer 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not only that but how many unique cases? Could be less than half of 1,392. And those that are sick might all have Influenza A or B, the test can't tell.

But really in 2 weeks all this should be flushed out. If they lift the restriction then, there can't really be any legal blowback. Trying to sustain this charade longer than night should result in ... the unspeakable

2
SemperFree 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah, sure, laugh as they take you to jail. Facts don't matter to Commies. They used a ridiculous Samet model to justify restrictions. It predicted millions of deaths.

thisisatestof2 16 points ago +16 / -0

“We understand that restricting gathering of young adults can have negative effects on their mental health,” Zayach added. “We urge family and friends to support the young adults in their life during this time by being available for them and helping them access mental health resources, if needed.”

So they are admitting they WILL mentally fuck up these youths just in case they might have CCPVirus and have like a 99.998% survival rate. That alone should make them all rich.

6
MasterOfIllusions 6 points ago +6 / -0

"We understand that we're creating a problem, and that there would be no problem if we didn't create one, but you should totally trust us, the people who created the problem, to also create a solution for you!"

Just like when this state cuts education funding and then says "hey why don't you vote to pay more taxes? We need more money for education!"

Considering the tests yield a tremendous amount of false positives and Current Covid-19 is no worse than the flu, they are causing long term damage to our society for no reason.

Mexicola1976 16 points ago +17 / -1

It's crazy-- the 18-22 demographic is basically the healthiest and close to a 0% of dying or even being hospitalized. This obvious overreach should be met with force. This is something I would love for Trump to address-- sadly, he won't. Moving forward, most governors, mayors, and judges are not to be trusted and their needs to be a reckoning. They need to answer for all of their draconian bullshit measures that are not backed by any science-- pseudo or otherwise.

This is so terrible that I can’t limit the number of WTF?!-level excerpts to under a conservative two dozen. I suggest you read page 3 - the section titled “Intent”on page 4. No people have consented to their state taking this level of power before. This shit isn’t “creeping”, it’s sudden blunt force. This order even outlines the data to disprove its own argument! They simply spin it with scary language, but every reason they give is actually an argument against their reasoning for violating the rights of their citizens.

No argument is valid when it comes to our governments (operating at the consent of & purpose decided by we, the governed) violating our rights. These Boulder County civil servants have not only violated the rights of the citizens who allow them to serve, but their argument for doing so is embarrassingly aggressive bullshit. I’m floored.
