yup. And there's no way a Justice gets to "leave instructions" for her replacement

Raindrops1984 14 points ago +14 / -0

This. I don’t care if Ruth wrote, choreographed, and performed an interpretive dance number entitled “Don’t Let Him Reeeeeplace Me”. It’s not her call.

When my mom died, her dying request was that RBG be replaced by a Trump appointee.

Can confirm, I had watch my grandmother die under the same conditions in hospice care, with cancer and the morphine drip. It was painful experience to say the least. Even though she was unresponsive, I had sat and talked with her as if she could still hear me. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, to pretend to be strong and collected, to a blubbering mess when I left the room. When she had passed, it was an odd "relief" because I no longer had to pretend to be strong. It was my hope that she heard me talking to her and holding her hand.

Same for me, with both of my parents. My dad lasted about 24 hours on morphine and didn't even know where he was for the last week of his life. My mother soldiered on through over a week of intermittent morphine, and similarly didn't know where she was, or really anything other than she felt like she was being asphyxiatiated. I remember the last time my father squeezed my hand as if he knew me. A few hours later his hand was cold and he was blankly staring at the ceiling while breathing very deeply.

I had a relative pass a couple years ago from pancreatic cancer. I'm really surprised that Ginsburg was in any kind of shape to be officiating a wedding just a few weeks ago.

Because it was Fake News!

Super_Dave 20 points ago +20 / -0

Everyone has a phone. She could have made a video. The fact she just says "she told me" screams bullshit.

Beat_to_Quarters 10 points ago +11 / -1

If it happened it sounds like something meant to be private. Not publicized. It's not a good look at all.

Tx50bmg 17 points ago +17 / -0

Lawfare, the ACLU and a metoo’er....yeah, no agenda here:

“For instance, in 2018 she was officially sworn in as a lawyer in the state of New York, and she now holds a position as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project, according to LinkedIn. Since becoming an attorney, Spera has continued to shown her passionate support for social justice causes like the #MeToo movement...”

Granddaughter of RBG and she squanders her opportunities and privilege on lunacy?

The far left sucks so much that I miss sociopathic nepotism.

MAGAHEALER 15 points ago +15 / -0

Yeah I’m a nurse and it’s bullshit. Also what’s bullshit is they let her make decisions while she had chemo brain. Same with McCain

Beat_to_Quarters 13 points ago +13 / -0

They're saying she said that days before she died. They did not even say until after the election. They said A NEW PRESIDENT. Trump is not a lame duck, he's running for second term. We're supposed to honor not filling her vacancy until 2025 if Trump wins??? lmao.

mrspaulrevere 10 points ago +10 / -0

Yes, she could have said "the next President"! Why didn't Clara just report that grandma said, "If Trump is re-elected I want my seat vacated, bronze the sucker and put a nameplate, no one can ever occupy it again and there will be eight Justices from now on." The nerve is beyond belief.

Southernwhitebread 9 points ago +9 / -0

My father was on morphine "dabs" cotton soaked morphine balls placed all over his body for pain the last 5 days. He told us he was being visited by Indian chiefs nightly and they were there to guide him to the afterlife. The last 3 days he couldn't respond much less make any kind of crazy demands.

dldeuce 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yeah, she didn't just die suddenly. This woman has been dying for quite some time. She didn't just suddenly become incapacitated and die just yesterday. The question we should all be asking is when did she become unable to perform her duties as a SCOTUS justice? That's a particularly important question in the context of replacing a justice in a campaign year. The only reason we're replacing her this year, is because Ginsburg, the left, and SCOTUS itself lied to the public to cover up Ginsburg's incapacitation and imminent death. They all lied, and that should be a major issue now. She should have been replaced last year, but she damned sure better be replaced this year.

"Mambo dogface in the banana patch," is likelier.

superfly 7 points ago +7 / -0

I think she’s done a great job for abortions.
Therefore, she should get aborted asap.

PapaPepe 7 points ago +7 / -0

She likely hasn't been able to talk for at minimum at week

d_bokk 6 points ago +6 / -0

Some reports saying she said this days earlier, odds are Democrats have been aware she was on her deathbed for a week now. Gives a much fuller perspective for last week's narrative.

RyanT282 5 points ago +5 / -0

My beloved mother/absolute best friend died 13 months ago at just 64 years old. She was under Hospice "care" for almost a week and they gave her a drop of morphine twice a day. Even at her age, and with very little morphine given, Mom was out of it for days. She was able to sweetly whisper "I love you" to me, and wasn't able to speak another sentence for the last four days of her life. No way in hell that archaic, cancer-ridden RBG was lucid and communicative to the very end. Total BS.

Staatssicherheit 3 points ago +5 / -2

Yeah, RBG would never be so overtly political, self-entitled and selfish. RBG always puts the country and the constitution above her own personal politics.

I seriously don't get this conspiracy at all. Do you guys actually secretly respect Ginsburg or something?

yang_wenli_89 3 points ago +3 / -0

Good point. I don't see why it matters either way or why people think this is worth thinking about too much. Who gives a shit, Dems would contrive anything about her supposed last words if it serves them.. And it is something RBG could have said earlier this year that would be in her character.

ParadigmShift2070 1 point ago +2 / -1

Are... Are you being sarcastic

FreeHugs 3 points ago +3 / -0

My dad died of pancreatic cancer. Shit escalated quick and out of nowhere. He was basically incoherent the last 5 days. Definitely not talking on a morphine drip. She most likely said it weeks ago

Teeje92 3 points ago +3 / -0

Haha it is such absolute bullshit. And how evil to put words in her mouth after her death...

Kaboola 3 points ago +3 / -0

I've been wondering if she died at home hospice since Trump randomly tweeted out he will be making a list of SCOTUS picks a few weeks back. If she died in a hospital, she was probably so sick was intubated and sedated and then coded until it was futile.

realPhantomFuck 2 points ago +2 / -0

She has been dead for a while now. This is the Dems' October Surprise

honkskillet 1 point ago +1 / -0

Or high as fuck.

DonnyCypra 1 point ago +1 / -0

who cared what she did or didn't say this isn't Judge Dredd

S1000HD 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes. Anyone on that level of painkillers is hallucinating.

OG_MAGA4LIFE 1 point ago +1 / -0

Everyone knows this is fake news because Ruth has been dead for months!

Filetsmignon 1 point ago +1 / -0

True. I was with my grandmother for the 2 weeks leading up to her death at home of cancer. The last week she was unresponsive. Death rattle begins a few days before the end and breathing slowly slows until death. There is no sitting up in your last few days. You're out on drugs and the death rattle is chilling.

Yep, I told my husband this same thing earlier. I watched my dad die from cancer and there's no way in hell she was alert enough to say such a thing.
