Those numbers don't include the transfers either.

Same problem in Portland. They're retiring, resigning, and transferring. And nobody is signing up.

It would be crazy to sign up. Not until the rot at the center of the problem is removed from these areas. Portland is a fixable situation.

NYC though, I just don't see a happy ending there without 10 years of the most tyrannical shit the US has ever seen in order to pull it out from the deep.

on top of bankrupting the entire nation in property bailouts, make wish programs. It really might be better to just build a newer, better one instead. A city grander without 80% of the condos and apt being 300sqft.

I have zero use for police, they need to just stay the fuck away like the rest of the terrorists. I'm sure the remaining ones can't wait to invade your home and arrest you for daring to defend yourself from their blm and antifa buddies so watch your back and don't make the mistake of thinking they are your friends or are on your side at all.

Didn’t they endorse Trump?

DebunkTheLeft [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Precisely. Every single day they give us more reasons to not support them and still people just don't want to see it.

Good news is they have the Ninja Turtles to pick up the slack against those Foot Clan soldiers trying to take over the city!

"In terms of attrition, we are up about 50%...We project it to go much higher," Shea told reporters recently at a briefing.

The NYPD reported that since May 25 through Sept. 10, the number of officers who retired totaled 1,189 compared to 679 in the same period for 2019, according to statistics compiled by the NYPD and provided to Newsday.

Additionally, a larger number of officers — 1,473 — put in for retirement, meaning they have applied to leave but are awaiting pension board decisions and other proceedings before they turn in their shields, officials said. That is an increase of nearly 200% over the same period in the prior year.

This is real shit boys

Anyone with the abilities to be a good cop can make more doing something else. So why would a capable person become a cop at this point?
