I've been polled. Always answer your poll strong DEMOCRAT and Definitely voting. These polls are used for democrats to know how much fraud is necessary to win a given area.

BathouseBarry 7 points ago +7 / -0

Some are polling for the right though. You can tell by how they word questions.

8
BrakeRemovalMechanic 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yeah. You can ask for more info on candidates and make educated guesses from that as well.

2
Gyrfalcon 2 points ago +2 / -0

No. I got polled (local candidates) and said I hadn't completed my research. True by the way. Pollster gave me where they went to college and in one case who the guy's grandmother* was. How is ANY of this relevant to their political stance. I finally hung up. How can you answer idiots like that?

  • The pollster actually said mother, but that was impossible. Worked in the same industry as she did for a while. I knew that was wrong.

I got polled by what I perceived was a left leaning organization. I lied.

Feels good, man.

3
TheRedPlanet 3 points ago +3 / -0

I did this too. recently.

VCE1 16 points ago +16 / -0

I get between 5-15 spam calls a day on my mobile. I only answer calls from my contacts.

10
generated_name 10 points ago +10 / -0

This.

I hardly ever answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.

A few years ago I agreed to answer some poll questions over the phone, from an organization I've never heard of before or since, and looking back on it, I'm almost 100% convinced it was a scam call because I was inundated with spam calls for months afterwards.

2
VCE1 2 points ago +2 / -0

I’m on some list somewhere. I get calls from Peru, Palau and all different states. Fewer of them than 4 months ago. Most are still from my area code and 3 digit prefix.

3
JaevlaSkit 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lately I've been getting spam calls from some woman speaking Chinese. They leave a voicemail every time.

2
jdtiger 2 points ago +2 / -0

I had that happen a few months ago. It was 3 or 4 days in a row but hasn't happened since

3
Alpha_plus 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yep, I've been getting a lot of spam calls lately too but I don't answer any of it. Much of it is probably election related but I wouldn't know lol.

2
lifeisahologram 2 points ago +2 / -0

100% of calls I get from numbers who aren’t my contacts are just empty / silent calls. It’s annoying. It’s always a new number all the time. I probably have 100 blocked numbers now, and it does nothing because they just have more. I don’t even understand the purpose.

2
Gyrfalcon 2 points ago +2 / -0

Autodialers. Either the system is slow transferring, or the internal call group is all busy.

1
FuckU/Spez 1 point ago +1 / -0

But... but, if you don't answer the spam calls how are you going to lower your credit card debt? Or renew your auto warranty? Heck man! You need solar to save the earth! Reeeeee 😅😂😂

mightyclaw 10 points ago +10 / -0

My impression is that most poll calls go to dedicated land lines, which most people don't seem to have any more.

2
DisgustedByMisleadia 2 points ago +2 / -0

I read the details of a recent Fox News poll:

https://static.foxnews.com/foxnews.com/content/uploads/2020/09/Fox_September-7-10-2020_Complete_National_Topline_September-13-Release.pdf

Interviews were conducted September 7-10, 2020 among a random national sample of 1,311 registered voters (RV). Landline (276) and cellphone (1,035) telephone numbers were randomly selected for inclusion in the survey using a probability proportionate to size method, which means phone numbers for each state are proportional to the number of voters in each state.

duckstuck 7 points ago +7 / -0

Wouldn't know if I did. I don't answer phone calls from numbers I don't know.

If it's not important enough to leave me a message then it's not important enough for me to call you back.

6
Maxmax 6 points ago +6 / -0

I have gotten polled before...on land line phone which I still have. The question is asked who will you vote for for President, then they ask you 5 different ways if you are actually going to show up to vote.

6
ProperSwordfish 6 points ago +6 / -0

I actually got texted a poll for my local county, FIRST TIME! 2 Candidates, for one they ALWAYS told me something "bad" about the candidate and asked "Would that make you vote for this person?" and for the other candidate they ALWAYS told me something "good" about them and asked "Would that make you vote for this person?"

For reference I am in Will county Illinois, the candidates were for State Rep. Tim Ozinga (R of course) was the person the poll ONLY stated bad things about. The (D) candidate ONLY good things were mentioned.

Obviously biased poll was obvious.

3
BrakeRemovalMechanic 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same for me. Was the pollster American? Because I could have sworn they outsourced the poll to an Indian call center or something. I almost hung up on them out of habit upon hearing the accent.

5
BSTUNO 5 points ago +5 / -0

And others that don’t reply or answer numbers they don’t recognize 😂

5
Farnsworth 5 points ago +5 / -0

I have my phone set to send calls from numbers not in my contacts directly to voicemail. However, one day last week I took my car into the shop and they were going to call me when it was ready so I disabled that option for the day. During that time I got a call from a pollster and I said I was voting for Biden just to fuck up their poll. That’s the first and only time I ever talked to a pollster. The next poll you see from PA, just know that there at least one vote in the poll that is fake haha!

half-blacktrump 4 points ago +4 / -0

I get them all the time (long story) but my sibling singed me up as a Democrat and I get called all the time as I am also a monority

4
DocOne 4 points ago +4 / -0

I've gotten a few just in the last two weeks which is sorta weird because a couple were AZ specific but I don't have an AZ phone number....they never answer when I ask who sold them my number.

3
SteveHuffmansTeeth 3 points ago +3 / -0

During this whole campaign season I have only been contacted through text by Bernie supporters or his and Biden supporters or his campaign. I try to fuck with them but they never respond, I must be a little too direct with my first fuck off

3
Hail_Milo 3 points ago +3 / -0

...and I would fuck their data right up if they ever did poll me just to make the second meltdown that much better.

3
Afeazo 3 points ago +3 / -0 (edited)

I get polled but I live in the bluest area of the country. None of my family from other areas across the country get polled. So even if they do poll 10,000 people completely randomly by text like I have gotten before, its in a heavily skewed area. The truth is, no poll can accurately predict what a vote with a turnout of over 100 million will say.

3
Kyro5411 3 points ago +3 / -0

Got a polling call once a few months ago. As soon as they realized I was "right-leaning", they hung up on me. Lol

3
NotJudging 3 points ago +3 / -0

I never have, and have pondered the same thing for a long time. Then about a month ago my wife gets a call, she immediately tells them to take her number off their list and never call her again. I look at her and say, "we've always wondered about those, and that was our chance to troll and tell them we are huge Biden supporters!" She shrugs and kissed me.

2
ElMalakai 2 points ago +2 / -0

I got a bunch. I answered them all. I had the pollster laughing at her own questions. They were worded so slickly.

2
philandy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Probably missed the call while I waste the extended car warranty guy's time. If you want to play, too, just tell them "I'm tracing the call and it'll be done in a moment." Hearing the fear in their voice makes it all worth it, even moreso if you ask just the right push question and get them to hang up on you.

2
JediDwag 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think I got a text for one once. I ignored it. Fuck em. None of that shit matters. Voting is the only thing that matters.

2
Clabber 2 points ago +2 / -0

I got polled a couple weeks ago for the first time ever.

2
PurestEvil 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hmm I am no American, but I upvoted anyways, because the point is true.

2
xBigCoffinHunter 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think I got called over the weekend about a survey and it started with my level of education. It came off like a scam. I said no thanks. Polls are bullshit anyway.

2
MAGAHEALER 2 points ago +2 / -0

never been polled once in my life.

2
Redpill-notCommieRed 2 points ago +2 / -0

Like I'm going to talk to those leaches. Keep them guessing until election day!

2
JaevlaSkit 2 points ago +2 / -0

I received a text last night asking if I supported natural gas and oil.

2
Flcentipede 2 points ago +2 / -0

I wouldn’t know as like most normal people I don’t answer calls from unknown numbers.

2
BlackJack1776 2 points ago +2 / -0

They only ever "poll" Republicans like McCain, Romney, Bill Crystol, Glenn Beck or members of the Bush clan.

Face it. These are Pede free polling zones. Only RINO need apply.

2
Flahusky 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've been polled more this year than in years past. Live in Florida amd always tell them in a democrat and voting for Sleepy Joe. These calls would be comedy gold

2
JoeIsAHoe 2 points ago +2 / -0

I got polled, I told them I'm voting Democrat down the ticket......;)

I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize. If the call is important, the caller should leave a message. Few do.

1
ouvrez_les_yeux 1 point ago +1 / -0

I got an automated call the other night for our Congressional Rep race.

1
p1smo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Maybe my spam catcher blocks everything, but I never get polled. The random political fundraising call will sneak through occasionally, but never anything interesting like a poll or Biden campaign worker.

1
Slice 1 point ago +1 / -0

I got a poll the other day and hung up. "no thank you"

1
MagaChamp253 1 point ago +1 / -0

I hang up on them all. NO one gets to know how I'm voting until I vote.

1
DisgustedByMisleadia 1 point ago +1 / -0 (edited)

We got a robo-calling poll a few days ago.

But, it was to our home land-line, and we never answer that unless we recognize the caller ID.

1
Reborned20 1 point ago +1 / -0

The answer is Negative Zero.

But I do not donate off the text messages.

Seems safer to go to Winred.com.

But doesn't matter for Dems, Biden goes to Burisma.com and retruns with 2 Billion from China.com

1
unsolvableattitude 1 point ago +1 / -0

I've never been phone polled either, but if I were I would tell them I'm voting for Biden, just to have the media meltdown again.
