Looks, it's simple: Trump can't take credit for the economy that Obama set up, but he is solely responsible for unemployment in states where the democratic governors are arresting people for trying to work.

I have friends who traveled internationally for sales.

You couldn't even hop between the two countries because UAE or Bahrain (I forget which) wouldn't let you in with an Israeli stamp on your passport.

Lots of people had two passports for this purpose. Not needed anymore.

9
the_sky_is_falling 9 points ago +9 / -0

This is correct.

I've lived this.

Had to go to Israel from Dubai.

Couldn't cos an Israeli stamp on your passport meant no return back to Dubai.

So, had to travel to Jordan, drive to the border crossing there, Israeli soldiers stapled a paper on your passport, this was stamped by the Israeli border agent, you went to Israel and when it was time to return, return to the border crossing and the soldiers pulled out your stamped paper.

As far as Dubai and UAE was concerned, you went to Jordan and returned.

That was what it has been until now.

Dictator_Bob 10 points ago +10 / -0

There won't be as many now. Arab states are chilling out over this and there's less VPNs larping as stormfags on /pol/ . It's mostly DNC shills and chicoms pushing "miga" crap, like we care what they think. Likely some EU cucks too. This all bleeds over here.

5
TrumpTrain425 5 points ago +5 / -0

Why do you think that is?

8
aaafirefly123 8 points ago +8 / -0

It’s mostly because every time we see some Anti-Trump article, it seems like a disproportionate amount of the time it is written by either a person of Jewish descent or is someone married to a Jew.

And I’m not gonna lie, it gets a little discouraging every time I see some Pro-Marxist Anti-Trump article and I see the authors name is Goldstein.

And I don’t think most of us are Anti-Israel, if anything I would say I’m a little jealous of America, mostly because it feels like all our based conservative Jews went to live in Israel and left behind the marxist Jews who hate our country and advocate for open borders and spread anti-white propaganda.

1
KekVult 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, I can see that.

Every jewish individual I know here is a total libtard loon

It boggles my mind, how can jews be asleep to the dangers of racism?

1
ModernKnight 1 point ago +1 / -0

I see a significant split in the Jewish population, which I refer to as "religious Jews" and "ethnic Jews." The religious Jews tend to be very conservative, tend not to be involved in hollywood/media/publishing, and tend to be very anti-communist. The "ethnic Jews" are those who are of the Tribe, but are either completely atheistic or just barely dip their toes into Jewish religious practices. They tend to be extremely pro-communist, and tend to be the ones who achieve disproportionate power in hollywood/media/publishing. I am not sure of the exact causation/correlation here, but I suspect they take the very highly motivated, in-group supporting Jewish culture, and, having lost their religion, have replaced it with communism, so help pull their fellow commie "ethnic Jews" into similar positions of power to push their new religion (communism) upon the population at large. Not sure if this makes sense or just looks like rambling, let me know.

2
KekVult 2 points ago +2 / -0

I can explain the causation/correlation and it's not sinister

Jews have a very disciplined culture. They get there kids to work their asses off, and it's the same reason why asians are so kick ass..

Asian dad's are not complacent, and make sure to push their kids to success

I was blessed to be adopted by catholics...that just so happened to have that similar discipline, so I went from poverty to...inching towards upper middle class actually

Who here doesn't want to recognize Israel? I want to stop sending them billions for nothing, and I want them to have no influence whatsoever over what we do. Is that so goddamn much to ask?

3
Stevospeedo 3 points ago +3 / -0

It is insane that this comment is downvoted here. I get constant downvotes here for sticking up for real conservative values. I don't think many people understand just how many dual citizen Israeli Jews have infected our government and society and every level. They are literally in our Congress voting for what is best for Israel. Neocons and Neolibs from both parties do this. It is one of the few countries you can serve in the military without losing your US citizenship.

2
FormerGraveheart 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is insane. What I want is perfectly reasonable. We have a problem on this site if it isn't the prevailing view.

2
Kweebecker 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well bully for them. It exists. Whether you want it to continue to exist, to continue but change, or cease entirely, is the only question of any level of value. To deny it exists is just blind, the paperwork has been dry for longer than they've been alive.

Speak for yourself, bub.

I'm not a fan of the members of the tribe who live in NYC and are far over-represented in the press and financial institutions and generally wreak havoc on our nation. In fact the dislike is so intense I have to tone down my rhetoric here or get banned.

At the same time I've been to and worked with people in Israel. Normal working class people who love their country. Awesome people with a great sense of humor and also very honest in their feedback about the work. Probably more normal people because they have (lots) of skin in the game as they live in their own country with neighbors who hate them.

Have to be careful with the hate. Hate those that deserve it, and know why you hate them, so you can appreciate and love similar people when it is proper to do so

1
DocOne 1 point ago +1 / -0

I was not talking about myself. I've worked with Israelis, even when they "weren't" operating in Iraq. I think they're great. (Also love the Polish and Ukrainian enlisted folks, they're my favorite 😂). And not for nothing, Israeli woken are the hottest on the planet, change my mind.

I'm saying their is a shitload of anti-israeli/anti-semitism on this site. That is just a fact. You know, things like

In fact the dislike is so intense I have to tone down my rhetoric here or get banned.

And those 2 are just the start, I bet if Trump wins we will see Saudi Arabia (one of if not the most powerful and influential ARAB state) recognize Israel within the next 4 years.

2
TheMattyMonster 2 points ago +2 / -0

The kingdom is the ultimate goal. These smaller states recognizing Israel is going to start to put pressure on them. The prince seems to have a pretty firm grasp on the country now and hopefully can pull this off. It's gunna piss off the wahhabists for sure, but the prince doesn't really seem to give a shiit about them anymore.

2
aaafirefly123 2 points ago +2 / -0 (edited)

We might have to wait for Muhammad bin Salman to succeed his father first. He doesn’t need his position as crown prince to be jeopardized because of a premature decision to recognize Israel.

I think he will do it eventually, but not yet. While he is powerful as the Crown Prince, he would be even more powerful and influential as King.

That or we wait for Iran to commit some sort of Aggressive action that MbS can use to justify his teaming up with the Israelites to his people (i.e. We need to work with them (Israel) to defeat the imperialist heretics (Shiite Iranians) threatening our land and our faith, but in order to work with them we need to recognize them.)

After all nothing unites people more then a common foe (Just look in history, the Second World War brought the USA and USSR together).

1
TheMattyMonster 1 point ago +1 / -0

BuffaloReaper94 98 points ago +98 / -0

I'm always amazed at how incredibly intelligent the Twitter trolls are. ALL of them figured out, at the same time, that this deal means nothing because the countries weren't at war. How can we compete intellectually with a group that decides, all at once and completely independently of each other or any outside talking points, that "peace" in the Middle East is complete bullshit unless every country involved is actively shooting at each other? We can't. They're just too damned smart. Not smart enough to know that Palestine isn't an independent nation, nor is Hamas, or that the actual countries involved didn't recognize Israel as a state.

Twitter is the digital version of gathering a bunch of mongoloids for a world affairs roundtable. Just a bunch of retards drooling and shouting incoherently.

The bargaining chip is all parties' combined hatred of Iran. Saudi Arabia is next since Bahrain, which is 60% shiite, is being supported Saudi Arabia never would have signed if Saudi's were ok with it.

I doubt there will be anymore neighbors signing up for peace after Saudi Arabia.

7
TheEidolon 7 points ago +7 / -0

If we could unite the Middle East by turning them against Iran that’d be more winning than I’d be able to handle.

4
everydaybetter 4 points ago +5 / -1

Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon are pro-Iran.

Anyway, won't matter. None of the peace deals Israel has made requires them to take descendants of Palestinian refugees. So, Israel can make the same kind of peace deal they have been with everyone in Middle East and Israel will lose the support of Europe, which has been taking in Palestinian refugees and others from the Middle East for the last 60 years, but especially last 10 years.

That's not to say that the UAE and Bahrain deals aren't accomplishments. They are a huge step in the right direction. Peace is always better than war.

Kushner: "Great ! Just sign here to recognize Israel as a country"

25
A_Deplorable_Basket 25 points ago +25 / -0

This is due to Trump massively weakening OPEC. Once we became energy independent they lost a huge amount of leverage. When the US is the greatest oil producer in the world, they can’t hold a gun to our head like they have since the 70s. Further, as the world’s #1 exporter of oil (since 2018) we can devalue oil and bleed them dry if we so choose. They got a taste of it when there was that dispute with Russia that brought gas prices way down.

It almost certainly went, “You can’t shake us down anymore, and you can’t rely entirely on oil anymore. You can either diversify your economies and remain wealthy, or we can open up the spigot and let you die. What do you hate more? Israel, or being broke?” And they chose the money.

9
EPic 9 points ago +9 / -0

Want to fight ? Have -$37 Oil lol

2
TheMattyMonster 2 points ago +2 / -0

Obama actually set this up by being so weak. He let OPEC flood the market with oil to weaken shale/fracking. The hope was Hillary takes over and kills American oil for good, so OPEC and KSA were okay with short term losses to maintain long term control over the American economy. After Trump was elected, OPEC tried to keep the flood gates open but it completely crashed smaller oil based economies like Kuwait and they had to back down. This gave Trump enough time to revitalize fracking, open new pipelines and restore offshore drilling.

OPEC has completely lost their leverage and any chance to kill American oil. None of this would have been possible if Obama hadn't been a doormat.

Today's peace agreement is absolutely a triumph. I was in Dubai some years ago and on a shopping excursion, casually picked up a copy of the World Almanac at a book store because I was surprised to see one. The Israel page was cut out of the book. This also spelled collateral damage for the Ireland page which was on the other side.

The New York Times was asking a simple question which I hope that they now answer. Their insinuation was, as always, a negative one. So I hope that the print this question out on a printer and put it where the sun doesn't shine.

I was engaging in peacekeeping operations when I was just 20 and I had zero "diplomatic experience".
But I did have an M16 rifle, M9 pistol, and a M1A1 Heavy tank.
