Man, whats worse is the suspect is not only still at large, but he shot at the police officers while they sat in the cruiser, no provocation. Its a fucking attempted execution. LEOs have been so villianized, people feel its okay to walk up and assault, attack, or even try to murder them. Its sick

Blocking the entrance to an emergency room is intentionally delaying or denying life-saving treatment, which is to say, it is attempted murder. Police, and citizens in self-defense and in the immediate defense of others, are allowed to employ lethal force against someone attempting to murder someone else. And they should; if you intentionally block the entrance to an emergency room, you're not only not peaceably assembled, you're attempting murder, and should be shot.
