Apparently the next swing is how Trump is supposedly shutting down the "Stars and Stripes" newspaper... which cites all of one article in the Opinion section of the USA Today, and all of the hits on that claim use the exact same wording, like they were just posting copypasta.

No mention of it anywhere in S&S itself, and the purported author of the memo, Col Paul Haverstick, is mentioned only as a source for other articles, the most recent of which was May of last year, about the number of web sites run by the Pentagon.

Yes, Trump didn't include the funding it gets to supplement ads and subscriptions in his budget proposal, but that's far from the claim that Haverstick has ordered S&S to shut down by the end of September.
