The only scenarios where NY is close are a Trump landslide.

Hey, my brother and many of his Liberal friends have moved out of their apartments in the city because of COVID. Maybe there is a chance....

New York really did used to be a glorious state and city, it has lost its way big time, and going downhill fast with DeBozo.

Trump bringing back NYC a 2nd time in his life would be legendary. And, he could do it with Rudy's help....The both of them can do it a 2nd time.

We will retake California over many cycles. So long as we win this one people behind enemy lines like myself can start the process. The first thing we need is a very loud message to the DNC and their fringe-coalition that they cannot operate their status quo any longer; and that political violence will be met with the full force of the state.

It is going to take a new direction for the California GOP, that is for sure. A decade of work to be done and a lot of cleanup work to the south in Mexico.

I'd wager balkanization happens well before that's possible.

Portland and the rest of the pacific NW. I think we are there.

25

I'd be ok with this as long as China isn't given opportunity to dock it's warships on the pacific coast... oh wait, Vancouver already signed off to allow this...

6

You're 100% right. There is no way to claim back California. No matter how worse it gets there, some people love to dig deeper holes.

5
AlohaSnackbar 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'd wager balkanization happens well before that's possible.

Far from it. We even have our own Tito to prevent it. And the good news is, Trump is pretty tight with Tito's sister LaToya so there's an easy "in".

The Democrats would rather balkanize California before they surrender it to the GOP.

39
K-Harbour 39 points ago +39 / -0

We must also fight the states where the GOP is “controlled opposition”. Michigan GOP might as well openly endorse the democrat candidates.

TDanonDJTJR2024 21 points ago +23 / -2

Ya know, I think even the illegals might vote for Trump at this point. The ones that are the "grey area" folk, i.e. yeah they snuck over but they're by no means gangsters... They don't want dangerous neighborhoods and shithole policies. They want peace and quiet as much as anyone else.

20
Dictator_Bob 20 points ago +20 / -0

A lot of Mexicans that are naturalized love the country and don't really give a shit about political parties. Immigrants would vote democrat straight ticket as that would keep them in the country and expand the already lucrative benefits they receive. The democrats intentionally offer subsidies to illegal Mexican migrants as it increases their population regularly. This benefits their corporate donors and increases their voter base over time. The calculus for this was worked out a long time before today, that's for sure.

We can win over the California Hispanic vote but not for a generation. I think a lot of Republican strategists get this but I don't know if they have a good ground game plan. It is also very similar to the black vote where as soon as the democrats were genuinely challenged by Trump they started pushing the riots and BLM agitprop. No way they will let us speak over the walls of their plantation without shooting off some rounds. That's another thing we're dealing with, these people are genuinely hostile.

They are very, very careful when dealing with their Hispanic base. As a lot of that base is actually based, and only voting along racial lines because they feel excluded by the GOP.

Being “excluded by the GOP”. That kind of thinking left us with Paul Ryan, Mitch the Bitch, Cantor and on and on. The party is inclusive because it celebrates individuals and not protected pander classes.

2
TheThreeSeashells 2 points ago +2 / -0

but I don't know if they have a good ground game plan.

They do not. Anywhere. If they had even a decent ground game, they would win just about every election. Instead, they just have a good "excuse" game of why they don't even try in certain areas.

DoYouBelieveInMAGA 4 points ago +4 / -0

So I play the political stock market on PredictIt, and they are generally about as left as Reddit, but I'm kinda blown away by how much they think Biden is a sure thing. They think it's a lock for Biden. Current prices are 60/40 in favor of Biden, basically. Hell, in the "popular vote margin of victory" market, the most popular one was Biden +10 or higher. They're so sure it's kinda got me spooked.

Carry_Your_Name 10 points ago +10 / -0 (edited)

New England can be retaken, but I'm afraid the west coast is lost, because, you know, demography is destiny. That region will become a distopian state, where only the big corporate, SJW, homeless and illegals remain, and all the middle class fled to nearby states. Census is already showing that California is likely to lose one congressional seat, which is the first time in that state's history.

9
TonyGucciano 9 points ago +9 / -0

No. The illegals and homeless will come to a state near you. These lefty states aren't an amputation they are a cancer

2

Cut Cali off and build a fortified wall so that illegals and homeless cannot enter.

I've seen some posters on twitter make the case for Cali being in play this time, saying they're seeing way more Trump stuff and people there are pissed at Newsom

I think Hawaii, Maryland, Massachussets and Vermont may be bigger shoo ins than Cali. Biden will also win Delaware.

20
SordidPontification 20 points ago +20 / -0

Yeah, CA seems unlikely to me. Demographics play a big part, as does fraud, and if we don't expect never before seen levels of fraud this election cycle, we're not paying attention.

The Dems are going to do anything they can to stop Trump any way they can.

Now, having said that, CA stands to lose a few seats thanks to the 2020 census, and it's hilarious watching the left scream about it. The only thing that doesn't make this funny is that this same population has bled into other states potentially infecting them with left leaning individuals who are apparently so incapable of self-reflection they can't understand why their policies aren't liked outside dense urban areas.

I agree about Cali realistically, but I genuinely think NY is in play-ish. Hillary won it by 22% despite it being her home state hence cancelling out the Trump NY factor. If Hillary was senator in a different state I think the lead would have been closer to 15%. I don't consider that insurmountable in a blowout scenario for Trump.

Trump has a chance to pick up Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, and New Hampshire.

Maybes: Virginia, Oregon, and Colorado. Edit: New Mexico.

I don’t see a major chance from 2016 unless someone else has a different analysis.

9
GEOTUSMAGA 9 points ago +10 / -1

They'll say NY is trending Trump, but then report Texas as a blowout early as shock and awe. Once everyone's mind is double-blown with TX and NY, they'll call in the truckloads of mail-in ballots everywhere else. Then boom, Joe gets COVID and Kamala is your Queen and rounding up your guns.

8

Judging by signs in Cali is a bad method because the state is so huge. The state actually has more Republicans than any other state, but compared to the Democrats in Cali, it's negligible. If your friend doesn't live in one of the deep blue areas, chances are he's just in one of the heavily red areas that gets overwhelmed every election by LA, Sacramento, and the Bay Area.

13
MW23232 13 points ago +13 / -0

I live in CA. A leak told us it was supposed to flip in 2016, along w/ a couple of others that did flip. CA did not, but I think it was rigged just enough that they prevented it from happening. Since then, as people from CA know, they vote harvested like crazy in 2016 and stole all of those house seats My Reps seat was stolen, a WEEK AFTER election. This March in the primaries they sprung a whole new system on us, and it was a huge push to vote by mail. Looks like the person who stole my Rep's steal will win again. No one even ever heard of this woman before, but in the primaries she was ahead of the excellent-sounding contender 100,000 to 37,000. That just can't be possible in this district.

THEY KNEW THIS WAS ALL GOING TO HAPPEN, IMHO. It was planned since POTUS was elected. Even "muh Covid" planned, IMHO, and I will never thing otherwise. Now a lot of states are following suit after they saw how CA got all the "kinks out", and are pushing mail in ballots so no one gets "sick". But protesting won't make you sick. All planned IMHO.

I don't think the illegals vote that much, unless incentivized. Not worth getting caught. No need tho. In my state, I spoke to a lady at Election Integrity Project. She told me illegals get a driver's license. They are auto-registered to vote, they might not even know. Their license goes to their address, the voter paperwork/ballot goes elsewhere. Wherever the ballots etc. go, they are filled out exchanged out for same number Republican mailed in ballots which get tossed, and used to vote any way necessary to ensure Dems "get more votes" and win any given seat. This isn't the only way, either, but this way, you have no way of knowing of the voter is a CITIZEN, nor if the registered voter is even the one who filled out the ballot, signed and returned it. Anyone can steal it (or change the address and divert the ballots), fill out, sign and drop of anyone's ballot the way it's set up in CA. The problem is, it's done on purpose and seems to have been designed to steal any election in the future.

MW23232 2 points ago +2 / -0

So hard to believe people can be this obviously and openly greedy and evil! The only reason I still have a bit of hope is a lot of people are working hard on trying to recall the Gov ... Newsom, who has inflicted so much damage and potential damage on this state. Rick Grenell lives here and he is out there with lots of other people trying to get signatures. Really makes you feel inspired, or better anyway, to see some actual patriots do care and working so hard.

3
GulagCheerSquad 3 points ago +4 / -1

Doesn’t it all make your blood boil? I had heard also everyone is automatically registered to vote when they get a license and you don’t need an address even to get a license. With the two top on the ballot they make sure there is no way in hell any Rep has a chance. It’s all so sad (and evil).

2

Its Providence and the coast areas that swing the state, as soon as you move west its republican. Its such a tiny state though and with less than 500k people voting in 2016 doesn't take much to swing it if the city folk show up.

lots of pedes in central MA (i'm from worcester). that place is wicked racist but we wouldnt have it any other way :)

picture this: every race living amongst each other, with segregated areas of the city (a holdover from textile mill days), but everybody for the most part gets along. cuz they all have to work together, go to public school together, and everyone is incredibly racist to each other (its more a term of endearment there). the system works though. i can only speak for worcester, but most central MA people think anything east of worcester is for rich people who routinely vote D.

Am conservative and a NY metro area resident. The city has apparently seen hundreds of thousands of people fleeing for the burbs - either because of Covid and they don't want to live in a dense area, or because of the rioting and destruction and how NY just isn't a safe city anymore thanks to DeBozo.

While the mass exodus from the city is good, potentially, the issue is if these city idiots will continue to vote democrat in their new homes.

Thinking about this surprises me trump never ran for NY office

19
Jk475gjxjL 19 points ago +19 / -0

It doesn't surprise me too much. Trump always had aspirations for President. Trump knew how crooked NYC politics are after doing so many deals there. If he ran for office there, he'd eventually get mired in politics and scandals because that's just how it's done (and probably why Cuomo says he won't run for pres). Trump being Trump knew the best way to get to where he wanted to to just go straight for the top.

10
Kekchauffer 10 points ago +10 / -0

4
sarcen1776 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, no way Trump could win in NY without getting some shit on himself. (Before being Prez)

3
TheMattyMonster 3 points ago +3 / -0

Cuomo is absolutely knee deep in corruption related to building contracts which is apparently just how its done in NY. A lot of his friends have ended up in jail over the last 5 years or so because of how blatant they were stealing money.

12
kekkk 12 points ago +12 / -0

He was partying, making money, and playing Golf. I don't think he ever intended on touching Politics unless it were for being President.

New York City used to have good Mayors and wasn't completely cucked. Ed Koch who was the Democrat Mayor years before Giuliani, even endorsed Republicans Giuliani and Bloomberg for their candidacies.

Also, if it were not for the NYPD the city would become a complete shitshow.

8
Morir_es_Vivir 8 points ago +8 / -0

With regards to you mentioning the NYPD, they were around during Koch and Dinkins and they weren't remembered fondly, and for good reason. A lot of cops back then were either corrupt or closely aligned with the mafia.

All roads lead back to Giuliani. Guy cut his teeth going after the mafia. With him as mayor, he hired more cops, made more cops have to walk the beat, maintained a heavy and constant police presence in hot spots throughout the city, cleaned up abandoned buildings which were either used as a crackhouse or other illegal stuff.

It worked, which is why Bloomberg left policing as is.

He doesn't have to win New York to make this work.

If he shows that he cares about the victims of revolutionary socialism in New York, that will help him in every other state. He could get 340-360 electoral votes that way, even if organized criminals steal his old home state.

Kek_The_World 23 points ago +23 / -0

Don’t forget about Oregon. Completely out voted by two cities, Portland and Eugene. Most of the rest of the state, rural, is red.

17
nodoxplz 17 points ago +17 / -0

Oh absolutely, and there's gotta be other examples. The only thing keeping this from being a national issue is the electoral college. A worrying number of people don't seem to understand that if we do everything by the popular vote, there's no reason for places like Montana or Kansas to remain in the country.

12
K-Harbour 12 points ago +12 / -0

Electoral college also has built in safety valve to isolate voting fraud within a state. If popular bote, what happens when CT claimed they had 25 million votes?

9
nodoxplz 9 points ago +9 / -0

Another great point. If not for the electoral college, we'd probably regularly see people "win" with 137% voter turnout.

Here's what I don't get... and it may be purposely done. But, people in the rural communities keeps sending their kids into urban centers to get educated... and those kids either come back and infect the rest of community or the kids stay in the urban community increasing the population of the urban community. And, the left has completely taken any CHOICE of college away from parents. Kids don't even have to pay for college anymore.. they just get a loan or a grant. It's like....if you spent your entire young adult years raising a young Amish child... grew them to greatness and values... and then sent them off to rumspringa or whatever it's called and, they were bombarded with "go to school! it's cool! be like us! your parents are so hard, come here!"... only it's the GOVERNMENT that's sending this shit. I'm telling ya'll... the swamp is deep and OLD.

All colleges are cesspit dog Satan. My daughter wants to become a medical doctor. You have to go to college for that. She is very based and is at Linfield, which while liberal is small and she can, to some degree, state her opinion. She is also living AT HOME instead of the dorms. If more kids were able to do that, less indoctrination would happen.

8
SuperSilly 8 points ago +8 / -0

She is also living AT HOME instead of the dorms. If more kids were able to do that, less indoctrination would happen.

It surprised me to learn that ALL freshmen must live in the dorms at UNT. This is strange because, we are "townies".... yeah.. fuckery...

9
Kek_The_World 9 points ago +9 / -0

At Linfield they are forced to live in the dorms for three years unless a parent lives within 20 minors and they live at home. They say it’s to cut down on freshmen ODing. I think it’s to get $$$ and to separate you. Almost all colleges make this a policy for freshmen. Linfield owns the dorms free and clear. So at 9k a kid for room, you do the math. Meal plan is another 7k

4
SordidPontification 4 points ago +4 / -0

My alma mater did the same thing just before I graduated and that was years ago. They gave some bullshit excuse of it's to "help new students get used to college life" or some such nonsense.

Sounded more like marxist indoctrination to me.

3
ImVoting4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’m a 3rd year medical student right now. The saving grace of undergraduate pre-med curriculum is that it’s very hard to inject liberal BS into the likes of organic chemistry, biochemistry, etc.

Colleges as a whole are a scam though. If I ever have kids who want to go into the medical field, they’re going to a cheap university, none of this 40-50k/yr nonsense. Where you go to undergrad doesn’t matter that much for med school, especially when there is the great equalizer that is the MCAT. I know several people that went to smaller schools and got in.

2
Kek_The_World 2 points ago +2 / -0

That is great advice. My crazy daughter is majoring in psychology/philosophy and minoring in chemistry/biology/neuroscience. So trust me when I say plenty of liberal BS in the majors.

When they sent them online this spring, one of the philosophy profs was railing on Plandemic. I wa in the room off camera. I asked my daughter to ask the professor if she had watched Plandemic. The professor said no and stopped the rant so quick. The. She moved on the Q. Anther student shut it down. 2 out of her 5 students (Linfield does not cancel classes for class size) were conservative. UofO is worse Liberally and 500 a class in your freshmen year.

Linfield costs 57k a year plus dorms/food. My daughter received 50k in scholarships. So I pay 7k a year and sold my house in Eugene and moved to McMinnville so she could stay home. I work from home and can live anywhere.

Good luck in med school and residency. I wish you well in all of your endeavors.

1
NancysBarTab 1 point ago +1 / -0

good parenting makes a difference

my mom was based before based was a thing. she was onto liberal shenanigans during the clinton years. so I was likewise based as a teenager and my views didn't really change in college. I guess I got a little more liberal (pro abortion and shit like that) but not in a major way.

then again I was in an intense vocational program and didn't take grievance studies courses. there are avenues for a kid to get the requisite education to enter a field without becoming brainwashed. just don't let them enter college as "undecided."

6

Every path a Trump win seems fairly standard operating procedure. He loses almost nothing in either case.

5
CentristAwakening 5 points ago +5 / -0

The NY he is going to win is New Yorkers votes in the states they move to. A lot of would be Trump voters are fleeing the state.

Would be pretty epic if this move from Trump baits the dems to campaign on the ground only to get invaded by the protesters they adore. If Biden were to win, those protesters would be coming for him next. Trump is the only thing standing between the rioters and them.

22
PegasoSeiya 22 points ago +22 / -0

A huge portion of the city’s residents have fled between COVID and the riots. They only have something like 60% responses on the census. A strong turnout by voters, especially those who generally stay home because it’s hopeless really could flip the state.

Trump said NY is in play. Whether this means he thinks he can flip NY, or whether this is a trick to get Biden to focus a ton of money into NY, it means he has the edge somewhere

But considering the devastation NYC especially has been facing this year, NY as a state may very well be in play. NY is only blue because of NYC.

59

I'd say since NYC is in chaos people might just vote out who they think are letting it happen. An just GEOTUS saying it will make it play in repeat in dems heads.

Exactly. Literally just uttering the words “New York is in play” makes it in play. GEOTUS should also say New Jersey is in play.

Seriously, just go all out. Fuck the damn polls. There’s historical precedent for a Republican landslide here. Even if he doesn’t win the states, but sways a good chunk of the votes, it will help him with a house majority, and maybe the Left will finally stfu about “muh popular vote”. Joe Biden is literally doing nothing, so why not?

Put all these liberal shitholes “in play”. Minnesota, Oregon, etc. let’s turn this country as red as possible.

Keep in mind there is a radical left vocal minority that dominates the narrative in this country. Normal Americans, even if they’re moderately liberal, are fed up with the bullshit.

Pedes, keep your heads held high. Only stop fighting when we’re six feet under. We’re a MOVEMENT. Start subtly red pilling people. Make it totally cool and normal to vote Trump. “Everyone I talk to is voting Trump” — get used to saying that. Don’t get argumentative. Let the crazy leftists do that. We can win over the heart of America.

TRUMP 2020. I truly believe that we are going to Make America Great Again. BIG LEAGUE.

Omg I love you & agree completely.

“Everyone I talk to is voting Trump” is brilliant (and pretty true). Normalize Trump. MAGA2020

muy_libre 24 points ago +24 / -0

I love you too, pede.

It’s the kind of energy we need.

HIGH ENERGY, but gracious. It makes the left look bitter, resentful, and ridiculous (aka the way they are). Be the positive alternative to their satanic ways.

Living in the Bronx... trust me, Leftists are anti-god, anti-love, bitter, pathetic morons. They couldn't enjoy life if they tried.

UhtredRagnarok 17 points ago +18 / -1

Keep in mind there is a radical left vocal minority that dominates the narrative in this country. Normal Americans, even if they’re moderately liberal, are fed up with the bullshit.

This, I'm not American and concluded this months ago. The average American can't be as stupid as the left need them to be, I just have more faith in Americans when considering; Russia collusion, Mueller, Kavanaugh, Covington, Jussie, Impeachment, Covid, BLM, Antifa, there's a clear pattern of behaviour from the left, and it's in plain site. Counter that with the overwhelming positive message & positive results from Trump, there's no real choice, if Americans love their country over their political affiliation, Trump will win in an overwhelming gargantuan red wave imo. I personally think Americans will give Trump a massive victory and a massive fuck you to the left at the same time.

There's more chance NYS goes red than Oregon goes red. That's because there's a lot of people in Queens and Brooklyn, and Nassau, and Suffolk, and upstate, who are very very unhappy with the current situation. New Yorkers may seem dumb to us for being so staunchly Democrat, but they're fairly sophisticated, and they know what's up. The only question is whether they understand and accept that much of what's being done to them is being done to hold them and the country hostage, and they might accept that they can't turn the State's government, so they might vote for more just cause it's best to placate the monster. My guess? They won't accept.

2
Morir_es_Vivir 2 points ago +2 / -0

"New Yorkers may seem dumb to us for being so staunchly Democrat"

Guy, we went 20 years with Guiliani and Bloomberg.

You are aware liberals from far and wide come here, right?

My neighborhood used to be called "Little Warsaw." Want to take a ponder as to why it's no longer called that?

3
philandy 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you know that's not going to work, like someone said to me recently that they've hated Trump even before he was elected, I just say "well I just hate Biden." Whenever I need to do that I have always gotten back "well I just hate everybody!"

Better a no show than a sloppy joe.

4
MocksFordComma 4 points ago +4 / -0

He has spoken it into existence.

1
Supernova 1 point ago +1 / -0

The issues are De Blasio and not the President. I know they are stupid liberals but they aren't that stupid to know who is causing them pain and suffering. Does De Blasio get re-elected? Probably not. Will they vote for Trump in November? No way unless they exploit Cannon Hannant.

21
Aoikaze2000 21 points ago +21 / -0

It's a brilliant move by saying something that's solidly blue (like Commifornia) is in play by the Republican side because the Democrats are so stupid they'll waste money to ensure that the blue state stays blue.... instead of going after the swing states.

Because we all know that if we can misdirect the news media, the rest of the party idiots will follow that shepherd right off of a cliff.

17
muy_libre 17 points ago +17 / -0

AND it energizes the demoralized Republicans that still live there. Can make a huge difference in winning a house majority, and make the left stfu about the popular vote.

18
Everquest4Life 18 points ago +18 / -0

THIS IS HUGE

Demoralization is what makes people in solidly blue or red state not even want to try and vote because the think they'll lose.

You really think there are over 3 million more leftists voters in California than patriots? Anyone who has spent time on the west coast knows that is bullshit, the right just doesn't vote in those states. Time for the silent majority to make their voices heard.

If the commies win 70 to 30, they think they have free rein to persecute all the conservatives. Even if they win 55-45...they will start looking over their shoulders and will become more moderate in their positions.

EVERY VOTE COUNTS.

4
muy_libre 4 points ago +4 / -0

Absolutely. And remember the narrative in 2016? It was “Trump can’t win. Look at these polls.” Made republicans and conservatives in deep blue states even more apathetic.

Now they know he can win. They know it’s all bullshit. Game changer.

We've got that sickness too, NYC plates everywhere in Jacksonville... a conservative city.

I always wonder how a northern lib-democrat decides to skip ALL those states between NY and FL and decide to come here. They vote leftist, but want to live in non-leftist locations

Trump has an uncanny ability to speak things into existence. He spoke himself to the top of NY real estate and social life, TV, and the Presidency. Since then, many different diplomatic events, military developments, and economic outcomes have been started and kept alive by Trump's non-stop talking about them.

If people across the country, and particularly in NY, hear that "NY is in play" or "NY may flip red", then New Yorkers can wake up to the fact that NY is in the hands of the people, who hold power for real change.

It's a bit wishy-washy to say, but simply hearing the possibility can be the spark in the minds and hearts of many. We are not just talking about getting more people to flip red, but red people to actually vote. The energy.

17
Scaredturtle 17 points ago +17 / -0

Having lived there for 25 years I can tell you "Upstate NY" (Basically anything more than an hour or so from the city) has been a red strong hold. The issue is NYC is just over half the population of NY so what the city picks is what happens. This year though most New Yorkers are pissed at the current leaders so there is a real chance it goes red as a result.

6

6
Ingersoll_Causality 6 points ago +6 / -0

Excellent viewpoint. I've held the belief that the one of the major reasons our economy really took off, under Trump, was by him creating the attitude. He has a way of making people feel positive and more hopeful, when people hear it and it's repeated, it spreads. Complete 180 from obummer's doomspeak atmosphere.

2
saco 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think what happens in new york is people become apathetic for large elections because they believe it is unlikely that republicans will win, but they surrender their chance to win state and local elections, which are totally winnable. I take all elections seriously and I even voted in my first primary election this year.

11
MrSuperPede0426 11 points ago +11 / -0

DeBlasio used tax payer dollars to paint BLM on a public road outside Trump Tower and pays 20+ police officers a day to protect it (with more tax payer dollars). NYC is on fire and upstate is paying for the damages. Not to mention that Cuomo killed thousands by sending covid positive patients into elder care facilities (to stop paying social security to them). But hell, let's keep voting for chaos instead of law and order, says no one in NY.

11
Thracka951 11 points ago +11 / -0

A lot of the city residents have fled to surrounding states, many permanently.

Even if you don’t like trump, are you going to drive hours to vote for Joe Biden? Record low city votes coupled with strong turnout from the rest of the state could flip it.

Honestly, it’s 3.5 boroughs. Staten Island voted for Trump in 2016. Brooklyn also had a major Trump turnout.

Do I think it’s possible? Idk. It has never happened in my lifetime.

4
NYRepublican72 4 points ago +4 / -0

SI voters chose Trump 56-41. He got whacked elsewhere. He lost Brooklyn 80-18, Queens 75-21, the Bronx 88-9 and Manhattan 87-10.

New Yorker here, can confirm its going red 100% - with evidence.

  1. Go to Citizen App

  2. Find Manhattan any evening, but especially weekend nights.

  3. Locate the marching protesters.

  4. Go to the comments

  5. Notice the thousands and thousands of downvotes.

  6. Notice the hundreds of negative comments.

New York is going red and I've heard the same for California.

7

4
Wazoo 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes, that's great and all, but this is these are the same people that voted AOC in again by a wide margin. Various progressive reps have also won against their moderate counterparts in the primaries. NYC isn't going blue. Upstate, NY, yes, but not NYC. While I can hope, I'm going to be realistic.

1
swanzinator 1 point ago +1 / -0

I see the same kinds of comments in the Citizen app in Chicago. Loads of them calling out the local Dem leadership for gross incompetence as the city burns.

So it certainly is heartening to know we’re not alone out here. But I’m afraid it’s just a matter of time before the Dem cucks start censoring these kinds of comments on Citizen, just as they do on practically every other platform.

There's little to no enthusiasm for the confused puppet. Crooked had a ton of enthusiasm here 4 years ago. Big difference.

27
stevejobs871 27 points ago +29 / -2

People are giving extremely simplistic theories for why Trump tweeted it and still largely don't understand Trump's strategy. His WHOLE GAME throughout the campaign to make things go in his favor has been DISTRACTIONS. If he can create this distraction, and make the dems think that his internal poll numbers are good in NY, they dump a shit ton of money, ads, etc. into this area, and focus less on the swing states. This, coupled with the fact that starting the week of the DNC he's going to be campaigning hard in swing states, shows what he's actually trying to do: distract the Biden camp and get a better lead in the swing states.

15
GuerillaYourDreams 15 points ago +15 / -0

If they lock down again the people will take Trump's side against it. If they're not on his side already.

7

I almost wonder if that isn't true. Forget fake push polls, look at recent gun sales. I have seen rushes after mass shootings, Obama elected, etc and never seen anything like this before. Ever. My local shop is down to almost the bare walls and empty cases, mostly first time buyers.

The dems can only appease the loony left so much before they overstep. The riots along with defunding the police should be a huge red pill. The dems have basically lost the ability to govern. NYC is an absolute shit show. When push comes to shove most folks will vote for law, order, and security versus anarchy and chaos.

Can confirm. I’m a fellow pede in western NY. Our state is red in almost all regions except for NYC. There are more patriots here than you could imagine. It’s just NYC that controls the vote totals due to the population and illegals. Maybe it’s doable with the mass exodus of people fleeing NYC and illegals going home because they can’t receive Unemployment. There’s a slight chance but that is fully dependent on being able to win NYC. We would love to see the gillibrand Schumer and AOC out. Don’t forget, the first standing politician to support trump for president was Rep Collins from Upstate NY.

Had a chat about politics with one of my boomer clients who lives in Westchester County (just north of NYC).

She loathes Trump personally, but she loves his support for Israel and gushed over the recent peace agreement with the UAE.

She said her vote is not about her personal feelings. She said it's all about the future of the country, and her grandchildren's future.

So she will be voting for him in November.

There are probably half a million people just like her in Westchester County alone.

2
ChadRight92 2 points ago +2 / -0

New York has the highest population of Jews out of any state, and I could see a lot of them voting for Trump over the UAE Israel deal.

Can you imagine what would happen on Election night if MSNBC CNN ABC has to say live on TV that President Trump WINS NEW YORK? hahaha Can you imagine all the REEEEEE and liberal tears????? When President Trump wins in NOV I PRAY THAT HE TAKES EITHER NEW YORK OR CALIFORNIA just to see liberals lose their shit in front of the world. That would be an early Christmas gift. The day a Republican takes New York is the official END OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY. They can't come back from that. SI, Westchester, Orange, Nassau, and Suffolk should be spun off into their own combined state as well, that's nearly 5 million people which would make it the same population as Kentucky/Alabama. Upstate NY would still have a 6 million population comparable to Missouri or Indiana in population.

I think we can flip ca and ny ! Nobody likes riots and non tax paying N’s - hit em hard and often. Make it Latinos, Asians, and whites vs these scum ! For Cannon we must fire 🔥

If there's any time an R could win New York, its after the governor murders thousands of elderly and brags about it, the NYC mayor sprays Marxist graffiti all over town and rioters are allowed to roam free wherever they want.

Please make Suffolk County on this map part of smiling Pepe! We voted Trump in 2016! (first Republican to win in 24 years)

There are many of us behind enemy lines but we're probably outnumbered (maybe from actual votes and definitely from fraudulent votes).

I don’t think it really is but given the unrest the states been going through, that seed of doubt is going to make the Dems waste a lot of time and money

Let's fucking hope so! I have low expectations for ny, wa, or, can and mi. Some states might be too far past the point of salvation.

Does anybody even live in NY still? Didn’t the governor kill everyone in nursing homes and all the billionaires flee the state or get the Clinton treatment ie Epstein.

Nassau and Suffolk counties (LI) used to be R. They might be again. The city itself, no way, but if upstate, Nassau, and Suffolk go red, and the needle in the city moves 10 points, NYS goes red. DeBlasio sure is trying to make it happen.

More or less what Canada does. Trudope lost the popular vote last election but won the most ridings.
