Halfway through and I cannot believe the patience of those officers...

In my world, white, black, Asian, whatever, you resist like that, you get a beat down until you're compliant.

Three quarters of the way: "EMS is underway..."

He asked to get out of the car, he asked to be on the ground, and he STILL was resisting arrest. The police had no choice but to hold him down while he was having a heart attack.

Glad more people are posting this longer video. Spread it around far and wide. Fake noose is ignoring or editing it to make the cops look bad.

Why would anyone resist arrest? Just let a lawyer take care of it.

Why would anyone overdose on fentanyl? Why would anyone do a home invasion? Why would anyone threaten to kill a pregnant woman?

It would appear Saint Floyd was not as smart as the media portrayed him to be.

As violent as Floyd was, they were on his neck too long. Resisting was stupid but he was non-responsive for a very long time on the ground.

Thanks for posting. This whole thing just makes me sad.

The neck restraint could have been used to control Floyd, while keeping him conscious according to the Minneapolis Use of Force document:

Conscious Neck Restraint: The subject is placed in a neck restraint with intent to control, and not to render the subject unconscious, by only applying light to moderate pressure. (04/16/12)

It's hard to tell from the camera angle how much pressure was applied and whether or not they knelt on his knee or back. My guess is that they wanted to subdue him on the ground and wait for an ambulance because he (1) didn't want to get in their squad car and (2) posed a threat to himself with his erratic behavior.
