Thank you VP Pence...I'm starting hear talk of second wave here where I live. Total bs. No one cares and no one is going to lock down again. NEVER!

Mike Pence is a truly great man!

I was just saying this earlier... I live in Texas and can honestly say the only change here is MSM saying we're all gonna die. Texans don't watch MSM / Foxy / Scarf numbers; we don't believe in the hype. It's all garbage. We've opened businesses, bars, hotels, salons, beaches, parks and we are NOT going back into some kind of CCP quarantine again.

Abbott would be tarred and feathered if he tried that crap.

22
KekistanPM 22 points ago

The people in blue Texas cities really believe it.

The leftist faction of those people think we're all incredibly selfish for not wearing a mask in all public places or for re-opening a business, and they're full of hate and vitriol about it. They also lump us all in with assholes who go into stores to purposefully cause trouble by blowing on things, and who scream at or assault employees asking them to wear masks.

I spoke to more rational people who are concerned about it. All of them said they know someone in the medical community who has seen terrible things, or have a friend or friend of a friend who died from it. They're not demanding everyone stay home; but I can see why they'd want people to wear a mask and social distance.

I know what you mean... We lived in Austin for over 20 years and still have friends there who are on the fence between sheeple and realists. Those ppl are worth meeting for lunch or dinner and having a great conversation about the differences between Republican and Democrat parties and their goals.

I have a friend in Austin that's a devout Atheist, but he lives his life just like a Christian. He's a good person, and a great father / husband. Hard worker. I find us emailing more often as the world becomes more chaotic, and he becomes more confused about the future.

I never discuss the distractions we see / hear from the MSM everyday. Because when you remove the smoke screen, this is truly a battle between Good and Evil, and we're just in the way as it is often said here.

You don't have to believe in God, or be a Republican or Democrat to know which way the wind blows. Come November, you're going to have to make a choice. Do I vote the Red Pill or the Blue Pill ?

You must choose wisely, because the future of this planet depends on it.

5
PatriotGeneral 5 points ago

The MSM and Big Tech really really wants to divide America, but in reality we all love our fellow patriots. We just need to pull pack the screen to see each other.

Thinking about moving to Texas, what’s a good area for raising kids that’s not a liberal shithole but not in the middle of nowhere

6
Cyer6 6 points ago

I live in Williamson County which borders north of Travis county which is Austin. Supposedly Williamson is one of the most conservative counties in the state. So maga folks who love the Austin area tend to flock to Williamson. I see almost a night and day difference when going to businesses in both of these counties.

4
InSaNeOldGuy 4 points ago (edited)

Raising kids is worth any sacrifice. Start researching cities that sound like a good fit for you guys. For us, our hobbies are surfing / sailing / fishing so my wife started doing some research.

We learned early on that rural cities don't offer the education we had enjoyed in urban Austin (both of our kids are in the tech industry). Was really hard to find a comfort zone that's internet savvy but not Libtard. A rural curriculum is more 70's if that makes any sense. Like nobody texts or emails, they actually call on a phone.

But the closer you get to a larger city, the rural woes dissipate. Doesn't have to be Austin / Houston / Dallas / San Antonio; those places are growing so fast that even if you moved 60 miles away you'll be sucked into the abyss in a single decade.

I can't tell you how much leaving Austin and moving to a small coastal town effected our lives. Gone are the harrowing hour long drives to and from work at 70+ mph next to some babe putting on makeup or the guy reading a newspaper. Here, there is never any traffic. You can actually go the grocery store at any time during the day which was a shock.

2
rothbard_anarchist 2 points ago

We bought a place in a tiny town of 400, about half an hour from a couple low-mid 5 digit cities. Instead of a terrible rumor mill, we found the most welcoming and helpful neighbors we'd ever imagined. Anytime something went wrong, they were there to help out without being asked. We ended up not staying because of the distance from our families, but I really regret not making that move permanent.

2
SpaceOlympian 2 points ago

There are plenty of great suburban towns outside of the major cities of Texas. I’ll be moving from Houston down to Sugarland soon. It’s a great town with fantastic schools and about 30 minutes from downtown Houston if you need to commute.

Yet in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston the cities are all finding ways around Abbott's EO, imposing fines for businesses that done require masks, for example.

1
InSaNeOldGuy 1 point ago

True... It's the blue mayors in those cities ignoring what Abbott / Patrick have decreed. Kinda new territory but I'm sure it will be resolved at some point.

9
Whoopies_tds 9 points ago

But but but the news said their is a spike and they have seen an increase of up to 30%.....funny how they didn’t put any real numbers behind that 30% For all we know is asymptomatic cases went from 10 to 13 somewhere <— that’s 30%

4
N7fury 4 points ago (edited)

Also, these spikes happen when you are doing close to 500k tests in the aggregate a day. TDS is eroding people's brains where they can't do math. As long as metrics like hospitalizations and positivity rates plateau and drop, we should fully reopen. Also, why are we still in Covid season? This death toll keeps tallying when they stop counting for flu seasons by now. Crowder pointed this out on the latest Change My Mind and I thought it was a good point.

https://ycharts.com/.../us_coronavirus_tests_administered_per_day

1
Whoopies_tds 1 point ago

I got an invitation in the mail today to “test for anti-bodies” If positive, I have zero doubt that will be used to show a “spike” in positive tests.

1
Marshall 1 point ago

Last I heard, the much vaunted antibody test had a failure rate of 50% which is a coin flip. It is essentially worthless. But regular testing should show a spike because they suspended many test sites during the riots.

22
trumpORbust 22 points ago

Indeed -- our gestapo in Oregon just hard mandated face masks in all public places / businesses and outdoors... I'm be on a trail, in the woods, sneezing on shit in the full open and don't even think about what I'll do on my boat

7
bck- 7 points ago

It’s been like that in Massachusetts for months. Meanwhile our Governor gave the OK for the mayor of Boston (another blowhard) to hold a 10,000+ person protest for BLM. However, he’s threatening small businesses that he deemed “aren’t essential”, by saying he can force city officials to change the locks on their businesses if they do not comply and stay closed. It’s fucking ridiculous.

3
Luvmyhub75 3 points ago

What’s even worse is how do you mandate masks when you don’t provide them? In Georgia the only place to get a mask is a Chinese weave store and who knows what’s on those.

14
MAGADragon 14 points ago

We should never fall for this Coronascam again. My worry is they(New World Order commies) will release a real virus(not a scam virus like COVID), and then blame conservatives because we didn't buy the first beta test which was all fake and inflated numbers.

5
American-Patriot 5 points ago

I personally said our US constitution must always stand, and our rights protected. We should have never forced lockdown. If people want to willfully do it, or willfully self quarantine, fine. And I don't care if a disease has a. 02% death rate or a 50% death rate. Our rights are absolute above all else. Nothing should ever suspend or disbarr them.

14
lifeisahologram 14 points ago

Really pissed the media destroyed the public’s faith in them to at least report on a potential biohazard honestly.

We all get they are partisan hacks politically. But I still had hoped that if a zombie apocalypse were coming I could trust them.

Nope. They lie. About EVERYTHING.

Now they destroyed that good faith over a non-issue, seasonal like flu! If a real serious threat does ever actually happen, I’m not gonna believe them until people start dying all around me.

Fact check against the leftards claiming "2nd wave": CBS News admits that the higher numbers in conservative states are due to more aggressive testing (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/coronavirus-cases-6-states-report-record-highs/).

Conservative states should release number of tests in tandem with number of positives, then the percentage rate of positives as proof that the increasing number comes from detection, not absolute increase.

Lockdown can't happen. Trump, in a genius love, extended all of the US' liquidation for an entire year (maybe more). Literally would bankrupt the pockets of all the rich if we did. It's so genius, I just can't even. Lol.

Also, say it with me.

There 👏 wasn't 👏 a 👏 first 👏 wave 👏

2

Can you explain more about this extension of liquidation, or post a link that does? I'd really like to read more.

Thanks.

4
fkn_lost_my_password 4 points ago

Locking down is retarded. Just let the virus do what it's going to do. You can't stop it, just delay it. Life is full of danger. Shit sucks, but it is what it is.

It'll stay alive in some people despite a lockdown, but maybe not spread as much, delaying herd immunity and making each wave more deadly.

UCLA and Standford Professors

“These infection fatality rates are remarkably low and are similar to the fatality rate for the seasonal flu.”

“The virus is 10 times less fatal than we first thought.”

Dr. Rajiv Bhatia is an affiliated assistant clinical professor of Medicine at Stanford University. He is a former deputy health officer for the San Francisco Department of Public Health, [email protected]. Dr. Jeffrey Klausner is a professor of Medicine and Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles.

https://calmatters.org/commentary/its-time-to-end-the-state-of-emergency-over-covid-19/

“To properly assess the mortality risk associated with the coronavirus pandemic, it is necessary to examine deaths and death rates from all causes, not just deaths and death rates from COVID-19.”

They are asking this question because it is clear the Covid-19 numbers are highly inflated from other causes of death.

“During January-May 2020, the CDC and Department of Health and Human Services show about 120,000 total deaths in California, which is similar to the number during January-May 2018.”

They are comparing this current flu season against the last big pandemic that his us in 2017-2018 Flu season. The numbers look the same.

“Thus, the 2020 total death rates in California can be approximated by the 2018 total death rates, which are in the CDC’s WONDER database. I focus here on those under 65 years of age because they include students and most working-age people, and because COVID-19 deaths comprise only 3% of the total deaths in this age range during 2020.”

I really want to see the end tally of normal flu virus, cancer, pneumonia, etc.. deaths at the end of the year.

58
kesquare2 58 points ago

I compared flu deaths in my county to coronavirus deaths.

185 flu deaths. 115 covid.

I would urge all patriots to do the same.

22
MAGADragon 22 points ago

My aunt told me a week ago about the 100,000 COVID dead and said "Trump had blood on his hands!!" I asked if he had blood on his hands for the 60,000 regular flu deaths and if Obama had blood on his hands for the 15k Swine flu.

As you can guess there was no response, just emotional REE'ing.

9
iminurbas3 9 points ago

The US average death rate in 2017 was about 235,000 per month. If we've only had 119,000 people die of this since whenever they started counting we're doing pretty well. That and they are lumping in tons of deaths from potato chip people (people who were dying anyway from something else) and completely unrelated deaths (testing every dead body no matter if they died in a car crash, etc). What we really need to know is compared to last year how many people died in May versus this year while accounting for other factors like population growth and generally increasing unhealthiness.

4
HockeyMom4Trump 4 points ago

Shhh! Next thing you know, they will ban vehicles!

2
lifeisahologram 2 points ago

Another good comparison is an average of how many flu deaths happen yearly.

If flu deaths are around 115 yearly, we know Corona is a new disease that’s as deadly as the flu. But if it’s around 200-300 flu deaths yearly 🤔🤔🤔

2
Thearchduke 2 points ago

How any of the covids were in the inflated numbers category that CDC mandated?

2
localhost 2 points ago

Yeah, but without c19 it would have just been 185. With c19, the total is 300.

4
Thearchduke 4 points ago

In some areas, patients who cough, then die, are automatically recorded as dying of C19.

2
localhost 2 points ago

Yeah, I know the numbers are padded. I was just trying to illustrate that c19 isn't replacing the flu, it's in addition to it.

31
WeinerLapTop 31 points ago

12
Top-Secret-KGB-Agent 12 points ago

You are right. They ignore the fact that only nine unarmed black people were killed by police all of last year.

11
WeinerLapTop 11 points ago

They dont just ignore, they tell you that is 9 too many and go back to their self rightousness.

9
Top-Secret-KGB-Agent 9 points ago

And then ignore the fact that nine black people get killed every weekend in Chicago.

5
WeinerLapTop 5 points ago

Thats it?

5
ailurus 5 points ago

They try to do more, but mess up. On average, someone in Chicago gets shot every 2 hrs 51 minutes, but fatalities are "only" every 14 hrs 23 minutes on average. https://heyjackass.com/ is a simultaneously amazing and horribly depressing website. It tracks virtually every aspect of shooting and homicide in Chicago. For example, did you know that, so far this year, 19 people in Chicago have gotten shot in the junk?

I like what Adam Corrolla said on Tucker the other night. Basically he’s done with their virus BS. There’s nothing they can tell him about it anymore that can be trusted and believed.

I hope Americans really come out against this fervently this time. They’re trying to reboot this to collapse the economy hard going into election season. That’s all it’s about. The higher number of cases is due to increased testing but hospitals are fine.

15
HadEnoughInCA 15 points ago

You do know that something like 40% of "coronavirus" deaths are because they essentially stopped counting flu deaths and just threw them all together as assumed coronavirus cases, right?

5
goodbeerbetterviews2 5 points ago

Yes, this is why I want to see the numbers and compare how far off of the norm we are from the years of data that has been accumulated with those deaths.

3
silflay 3 points ago

It's quite difficult finding influenza death data for my state. I also would like to do some comparisons. My 15-month old daughter could pound the keyboard and find the COVID-19 data, though.

3
Kanxo 3 points ago

That's what I suspect as well. Any concrete data on this?

6
HadEnoughInCA 6 points ago

New York City in particular had a 75% drop in flu cases ... at one point it was over 90%. I think it was just in regular CDC data in April, but would have to look it up. Also don't forget about the "presumed" cases that accounted for 25% or more.

5
deleted 5 points ago
4
Kanxo 4 points ago

I don't know... quick glance and intuition tells me I can't trust this data. I'm betting they are double-counting Flu/Pneumonia/Wuhan deaths. For example, look at NY and then look at Vermont. Charts should be somewhat similar, right? They are not.

I would like to see a chart that shows all deaths from last 50 years and see if there is a spike during the last four months.

4
10DancingIsrayleez 4 points ago

They'll give you fake numbers, of course...

but it STILL shows a hoax!

2

2
ProphetOfKek 2 points ago

One of the metrics that should be looked at is if we are over the expectations for all cause mortality. Despite the coronavirus, where I am we are far below the expect number of deaths for this year.

It was a bio weapon engineered in China. It was used to try to bring down Trump by causing mass deaths in the US. That is why WHO, democrats, MSM, all said it was "racist" to avoid Chinatown and downplayed the virus. If Trump didn't take action by January 31 (he shut down flights from China on this day), they would have won.

5
Country66 5 points ago (edited)

It was a hoax from the start. All the bio bullshit is distraction by the CIA to make people like yourself believe it was a danger at all. BTW, you do know that the supposed numbers for detection were doubled, they counted 1 case for the swab, and 1 case for the antibody test. Every single person positive was counted as two.

It was ALLLLLLLLL BULLSHIT to destabilize the economy and usher in the fake as fuck BLM riots. Next is a public assassination attempt to further destabilize the country.

Empty hospitals, ventilators gathering dust, nobody knows anyone under the age of 60 who has died, two hospital ships that went nearly 100% unused. Remind them how absurd this has all been.

Embarrassment works. Make them sound like a lunatic and that masks are the new tinfoil hat.

6
Meatbank84 6 points ago

I dont know a single person that had KungFlu between 18-50 they needed a Ventilator. They all self quarantined at home and got better with no issues. Most common thing I was told by folks who had it was it was like a really harsh dry cold and they had no taste or smell.

26
Ebbie8708 26 points ago (edited)

So here in AZ, the governor left it up to the mayors to fucking decide about mask.

As of last night, 500k+ tests, 40k+ positive, and 1200+ deaths. With more than half hospitalizations (1600+) being 65 and over being an age group that tends to be hospitalized more often than any other group.

I wish wish our fucking governor would do press conferences that didn’t transcribe like fucking CNN headlines. ‘Cases up 600%!!’ And ‘Highest single day death count!!’ Really mean ‘1200 new cases’ and ‘20 goddamn people.’ Also a 99.98% survival rate would make people feel better. Just sayin’.

Is that really worth the almost half a million Arizonans out of work? Fuck no. I live in Scottsdale, a place known for retirement. These old people are living their best life. I applaud and appreciate them.

25
TheThreeSeashells 25 points ago

Also a 99.98% survival rate would make people feel better.

They've been conveniently leaving the recovery/no symptoms statistics out on purpose. They've been doing it since the start. That's why really early on I decided this was all a hoax. (By hoax, I don't mean the CCP Virus doesn't exist and people don't get sick. I'm talking about the overreaction to it.)

16
JeremiahKassin 16 points ago

When I saw that the vast majority of people don't have symptoms, that's when I knew. It's very very rare for a person without visible symptoms to be able to spread a virus. If they don't display symptoms, it's because the virus can't replicate enough in their system to actually cause a problem. Yes, there are notable exceptions, like typhoid Mary, but those are notable because they're exceptions. Anyone with even basic medical knowledge should have been able to tell the same. But apparently we're all into pretending we don't know basic facts this year, and we're all slaves to fashion.

7
IAbsolutelyDare 7 points ago

Yeah, the asymptomatic cases have the same viral load as pediatric cases, and so far no child has transmitted it or AFAIK died of it.

I jumped aboard the hoax train week one, when it was revealed that people below 60 had a 0.5% death rate, yet they were obviously and transparently trying to panic everyone.

4
mrpguy 4 points ago

Not only that, but if they are asymptomatic they won't be coughing, so they won't likely spread it even if they had enough viral load to do so. Makes sense. Common sense.

3
MaxineWaters4Prez 3 points ago

That's why the only thing you hear about is new cases. It's the only number that they can use because it will always be a positive number, and the total cases number will always go up.

Of course, we have more new cases because we have more testing.

2
TheThreeSeashells 2 points ago

And I keep reminding people that they count "positive tests" as "cases." To me, a case is someone who is sick with symptoms and needs medical attention. If someone tests positive and never has a single symptom and their body just fights it off, I don't even count that as a "case." The liars will...but I won't.

The side-effects of that drug are very serious. Despite this, big pharma is trying to really push for it. Hard pass for me.

17
Pray_The_Rosary 17 points ago

Unfortunately the Dems don't care. They manufactured a virus to give Dam governors total control over their state and pumped out so many lies to scare people into never leaving their house. They didn't even bother to make sure hospitals and test sites appeared busy. Just told the MSM to run stories about crowded facilities and then set up a system where not only were appointments required for testing but you also had to be "vetted" to make one.

Everyone stayed home and didn't question a thing. Even if the MSM report on VP Pence's words without distorting them, they could announce a second wave and everyone would believe the MSM and governors without question. States will become a totalitarian government overnight, again, and anyone violating the king's orders would be thrown in the dungeon.

9
JeremiahKassin 9 points ago

They turned a hospital in NYC into a death camp so they could spread the fear. They'll stop at nothing.

Idiots still drooling for a vaccine.

15
Raindrops1984 15 points ago

At this point, I doubt I’ll take another vaccine for anything, and sure as hell not for Covid. Robert Kennedy Jr has some pretty sobering information. And Bill Gates salivating over digital vaccination certificates and nanotech in vaccines has ensured that the Christians of this country are on code red high alert. Plus, I’m a woman of childbearing age. How can I be sure that a rushed vaccine wouldn’t hurt potential children or my ability to conceive?

You know what is really scary? After crying wolf for so long if a wolf actually comes (think airborn hiv or ebola) nobody will take it seriously. Also the politicization of treatment is terrifying. Instead of cheap effective drugs we are told to use expensive lethal vents and wait for a dubious vaccine. Even peer reviewed medical journals have TDS.

1
IthoughtIwalked 1 point ago

And really, I feel like this all stems from cancel culture. We're the "silent majority" and so the "vocal minority" runs the show. People can't publish or push the truth because they are scared to do so. I'm not making an excuse for anybody, but I do understand where they are coming from. It is easy to see why individuals aren't willing to risk their livelihoods (most recently like Gundy) without a nationwide cultural pushback that a mass of people can act on simultaneously.

2
Homopratensis1 2 points ago

I am a medical processional and I've basically lost faith in the integrity of our journals. The Lancet/NEJM retraction was outrageous as is Dr. Fauci. People are dying over this stuff and it's all preventable.

The balls if this guy got up there and said that followed by: 2024 Pence. I'm out.

11
MikesBigJockstrap 11 points ago

I tried to call for a doctor's appointment today and after telling them I had nausea and reflux... Their first reaction was "Those are covid related. You'll need to be seen and tested outside."

...with this fucking Kung flu scam, anything and everything is Kung flu related... It's like trying to WebMD your symptoms and everything leads to cancer

It's like that's the only virus in existence right now. Strep, flu, pneumonia, sinus infections, liberalism, allergies, common cold, emphysema, MRSA, arthritis, and every other ailment just ceased existence for the Kung fucking flu. It's absurd.

9
Hayride 9 points ago

I know someone who went to the hospital in the last 10 days because she was "sicker than she's ever been in her life". Of course they tested for WuFlu, it was suggested it might also be meningitis and she was sent home with antibiotics. WuFlu test was negative but she was told it could be a false negative. ??? That's where we're at this far along in the alleged pandemic? If the test can be false negative, can they be false positive? How much lying went on to pad the stats?

6
MightyEighth 6 points ago

Imagine being told you might have meningitis but your doctor is obsessed with testing you for China flu and then disbelieving the negative test.

Most doctors really are morons.

2
ProdigalPlaneswalker 2 points ago

doctors want the government money

3
hollow_fang 3 points ago

Saw somewhere that many of the tests detect something like 200 different corona viruses, many of which are common colds, and marks any one of them as positive.

The amount of false positives here is likely absolutely insane.

1
deleted 1 point ago
1
IthoughtIwalked 1 point ago

Eh.... Sounds like 100% bullshit to me. No doctor "suspects" meningitis and then sends the patient home with oral antibiotics.

1
Hayride 1 point ago

The dr gave the oral antibiotics (throat infection/cough etc) of course, it was an ER nurse who did/said everything else. I should have made that clear. I wonder if that makes it any better? This far into the planDEMic and this is what you can expect from the people in the front trenches? I'm sure some hospitals are better and I'm sure there's places that are worse.

Added bonus, the person I work with who had this happen is one of the people who believes we're on (or at least were on) the verge of a zombie apocalypse but she didn't want to get tested for WuFlu because they shove the swab up your nose for a few seconds. She obviously toughed it out.

9
Top-Secret-KGB-Agent 9 points ago

Yeah, there wasn’t a first wave either. I mean it was only slightly worse than the flu. Big fucking deal.

8

I read this yesterday and was so glad they published this. Now Kate Brown is mandating all Oregonians in several counties, including mine, wear face masks in all businesses. Meanwhile there are still thousands of protestors and rioters roaming the streets totally supported and they are blaming the new outbreak on a church.

Very angry today 😔

4

There wasn't a first wave either. None of the field hospitals ever wound up being used. The buildings that the Army Corps of Engineers created have been Gathering dust! None of the 40 bajillion zillion million ventilators wound up getting used and now they're all in a warehouse.

All of us were called science deniers for saying that this was not going to be any worse than SARS or swine flu, and we were fucking right.

This was a social chain-reaction perpetrated by a media that seeks to keep everyone terrified and Afraid.

sick and tired of the modern thinking that just because there's something "new" (by way of a new name) out there, we all have to freak out, put on hazmat suits, shut everything down and basically wait for a vaccine before we go back to normal. They're trying to legitimize and normalize regular people wearing masks in public by selling these asinine designer masks as if they're a fucking accessory like a purse or a watch. We don't need to develop new medicines and new vaccines for every new viral threat. Our human immune systems didn't stop working in March 2020. We're even losing basic immunity to everyday threats because we aren't exposed to them anymore, even when "out in the elements" we wear masks that stop us from confronting the threats and allowing our immune systems to stimulate into creating antibodies and defense mechanisms. Our immune systems don't see the everyday threats anymore and shut down manufacturing protection. So now those summer allergies are going to hit you worse, you will be more susceptible to even the most common bugs and you're generally going to have worse health. Never mind the host of problems masks pose...hypoxia, low Blood O2, re-breathing exhaled oral bacteria, heat exhaustion, slow suffocation. It's like look, the masks even tell you on the package they don't stop infection. And if the material was dense enough to stop a virus getting through, you couldn't breathe through it anyway.

4
TheThreeSeashells 4 points ago

I was reading an article in a non-political site about how Fauxci was saying that if there's a World Series this year, it has to be held during the summer. (Ignoring of course that MLB hasn't even agreed when to start yet and that a "summer World Series" would be impossible. But it's just Fauxci being Fauxci again.) Curious to see the reactions in a non-political site, I decided to check out the comments section. It started out alright with a lot of "Why the hell is anyone listening to this fraud"-type comments.

As I continued I started to notice that a lot of Karenesque comments started creeping in. Including a lot of people that actually still believe two million Americans are going to die and citing the long debunked Niall Ferguson fraud model. Even when others set them straight with the facts, they refused to believe it, naturally resorting to insults in the absence of facts to back their misinformation.

I do believe people are waking up, but there are unbelievably still a lot of people still stuck on square one who are determined to remain petrified at all costs.

There IS a Second Wave, and it's coming from Mexico.

Look up Imperial, CA. There are tons of people who live in Mexico and work on the US side of the border, along with the ones in Mexico getting sick then getting dumped on our side of the border for "free" care.

San Diego's hospitals are flooded. So are Palm Springs, and they are trying to push them on us here in LA (transfers from these hospitals).

I'm a nurse in LA. Covid is NOT gone, and we're still getting exposed to it. I'm not advocating for another US Quarantine, but this still has a potential to be with us for awhile. My hospital has seen a decline in cases, but the ones coming from Mexico has us worried, and my hospital is DEFINITELY getting prepared for a possible Second Wave.

2
Lemontree75 2 points ago

I was looking through the numbers for v the countries in California and comparing them to the population and noticed that Imperial Country had an insanely high number of new cases, given the small population. You just explained it. Thank you.

Is your hospital using Hydroxychloroquine+Zinc or is it like the death trap ventilator hospital with based whistleblower nurse?

https://youtu.be/UIDsKdeFOmQ

1
EqualityMeansAll 1 point ago

Not standard treatment on the floors, can't speak to what the ICU is doing, but I haven't heard. Definitely NOT a death trap (and really, LA doesn't have the stats for any LA hospitals to be considered a Covid death trap, but some have shit-tier staff that makes them death traps for non-covid reasons)

All I can say is that I haven't personally administered those meds for covid patients, and I don't go looking into the charts of patients that aren't mine (don't want to get fired for HIPPAA violations!) Our covid patients on the floors are stable, and many were sent home in the early phases because all we were doing was monitoring and giving tylenol for the mild cases. The severe cases go straight to the ICU for closer monitoring, so IF we are using that regimen that's where it would be used.

0
ProdigalPlaneswalker 0 points ago

So it's like the death trap ventilator hospital then.

https://youtu.be/UIDsKdeFOmQ

EqualityMeansAll 0 points ago

No, it's fucking not. Don't twist my words. Death Trap hospitals are co-habitating patients with covid with those who are covid-free in the same room. Placing a patient who's at-risk for possibly rapidly declining where they can get faster treatment and away from non-covid patients is the precise opposite of a "death trap". You fucking sicken me, and you should go crawl back to your job at CNN you fake news shill. Your ignorance is fucking astounding.

There will be if more people be don't study up their math and sciences. I feel too many were shy to look at the actually science itself in order to see the flaring discrepancies. Most waited for a headline to read in their favor.

It's pretty obvious we were duped the first time because of how dumb and gullible we are about infectious diseases. It was out fear that we relied on the very same media, we knew before not to trust, that allowed these shutdowns to be so ruinous.

We can no longer afford to be ignorant about the things that too many 'experts' dabble in and place dubious restrictions on our rights and freedoms.

'Knowing is half the battle' Ironic that a slogan from a cartoon would be pertinent today. Lol

3
American-Patriot 3 points ago

Thanks Pence, I needed that. Now when will the lockdown and más wearing BS totally end? It's summer, man.

3
ProudWhiteMan 3 points ago

How can there be a second wave when we haven't even been through the first wave? Get real, clown world. Just because they suspended their gaslighting for the protests does not mean the virus was ever under control. YOU CANT CONTROL IT. It's a reality we need to learn to live with it and the medical field needs to find a better treatment other than sticking respirators down people's throat and then killing them once they become dependent on the ventilators to breath and have them removed.

Fuck, this whole crisis just shows how clueless doctors are when there isn't an established protocol for an efficient treatment for them to follow and they have to "wing it", they will always be questioned by me after this.

Is this proven, are you 100% certain, can we go over the results again, do you genuinely believe this is the best recourse, can I overcome this without medical intervention, are the cases where treatment makes it worse, on and on. Not like I didn't do this before but now I'll make sure to always do so. No more in and outs going to use that full hour covering everything

3
AppalachianTactical 3 points ago

Very true. Based on how viral they claimed and the alleged rnaught this virus shouldnt require 10,000 protesters to gather to have a second wave. The secondnwave should have been weeks ago if it was legit.

Its all bullshit. I think china let it out and then shutdown as part of a show. I think they knew from the start it wasny as bad as claimed and I bet the death toll is half of ehat was claimed in the US. I dont know if there was a worse strain in italy or what, but this was all bullshit.

I keep hearing about second waves in California and Texas, but I won't take those reports seriously until I see a reliable source weigh in with good numbers. I'm not willing to give the MSM the benefit of the doubt on anything unless it disputes their narrative, because only then can I trust they're being (reluctantly) truthful.

Some might call this confirmation bias, but I'm willing to accept inconvenient facts. What I'm not willing to do is take them at face value without a lot of convincing. If the media tells me something that advances leftist crap, I assume it's most likely either fake news or inflated ridiculously in a way that suits their bias. If they say something that makes their side look bad, I believe it because I know they were forced to accept it after checking 100 times. In those rare cases, the truth is actually much more stark than even what they admit to.

The only times I question news that's good for the center or the right are when it comes from a friendly source, or a frenemy source like Fox.

I do wonder if all the protesters and rioters are encouraged to get tested to make the number numbers look worse, just to cause more fear. I am so glad to read this! I was getting concerned. I talked to a conservative friend of mine in Florida, who works in the medical field. I really want to believe that the increase is due to increased testing, but can anyone explain to me why Florida ICU numbers are up? I want to have something to come back with.
