Dave Chappelle can fuck off.

He's an overt racist. Every dollar he made was directly from being a funny racist.

I like to hit people with the double wammy. Naggot ass figgers. It use to get the reeeeeeing started over on reddit when I’d drop that one on them. 🤣

13
arebee 13 points ago

Why do people hate dave chappelle? I am OOTL he seems okay I thought? Was Apolitical and generally pretty not PC/anti hollywood? What happened?

12
ericcart 12 points ago

I think he's the comedy GOAT but most of his work is race related. I recall he said as a kid he watched "Roots" and it changed his life. Stupid fuck doesn't realize that basically everybody in western civilization had ancestors that were slaves and/or horrifically oppressed.

11
orangemangood2 11 points ago

I personally love Dave Chapelle. He's always pissed off SJWs.

12
arebee 12 points ago

Has he done something political lately? Man, even bill bur gives both sides a bit of shit. We can take it. We're not the cancel culture side. Comedians should be off limits, imo. Unless they're doing some super gay pandering constantly

8
Rash 8 points ago

He did a non comedy skit called 8:43 or something like that.

1
Naked_Bonersoft 1 point ago

It was fucking terrible

7
minotaurbeach 7 points ago

I like Dave Chapelle as an entertainer, - he un apologetically and logically, tears apart many unstable narratives.

6
Barbs 6 points ago

He blasted Candace Owens last week and mocked her for not being a sheep and baaaaaa’ing “BLM!” like the rest of them. She took it well though, and chalked it up to an “I finally made it” winning moment, to be important enough to be in Chapelle’s comedy.

He was an asshole but she was classy, pretty much today’s politics in a nutshell.

6
Friendly_B 6 points ago

He did that special on Netflix last fall in which he made fun of SJWs and cancel culture.

5
Wharf_Rat 5 points ago

yeah he did some outrage thing about George Floyd. I get it though

poor black people in this country are told by the media, white liberals in power, and race hustlers that they are worthless and hated, and that they are actively hunted by police. If i was black and guzzled the propaganda, I would probably be throwing bricks through buildings too

4
Dominick 4 points ago

Yeah. He's pushing BLM's easily debunked narrative and attacking other black people for refusing to get on the bandwagon.

4
The_Chocker 4 points ago

His recent special 8:46 was an SJW / BLM spew fest. They have gotten to him and he is no longer cool.

2
FuckCommies 2 points ago

Or constantly dropping roofies in drinks and raping bitches.

6
N7fury 6 points ago

They are upset because of his recent defense of Floyd. Chappelle has always been about that stuff. He is a disciple of the racism faith despite accumulating enormous wealth and being celebrated. I went to a mostly all white high school because of the rural area and everyone there loved Chappelle and quoted his show all the time. White people are some of his biggest following. I think he means well and just has the numbers wrong. He's not afraid to call out the left but he has always pushed the racist narrative.

8
NonyaDB 8 points ago

Somewhat this, but I believe that his abandonment of the Hollywood lifestyle and choosing to live in rural Ohio has really opened his eyes to how the left and right really are.
He jokes about it, but if you think Dave Chappelle really believes that America as a whole is racist then you just don't know Dave.
He knows there are racist people that live in America but he doesn't believe the country as a whole is racist.
His sheer success disproves that and he knows it.
Dave's a loose comedy cannon. He literally travels around and when he wants some quick spending money he does an instant, one-night-only show. Every few years he'll do a special for a big payout.
Joe Rogan and some of his guests have spoken about how Dave will just show up at a comedy club and the club owners bend over backwards to give him the mic for a few hours. And I don't blame them - the man's hilarious even when he's slamming wypipo.
Unlike the current batch of "woke" comedians, you can tell Dave's not coming from a place of hate but a place of just "this shit's funny as hell and you know it."
And from what everyone who has ever met him says about him, he's a gracious and polite man and a ruthless killer in the comedy scene.

2
BubbaTrumpShrimp 2 points ago

Agree, I really enjoy his stuff. I think he calls the bullshit for what it is. I mean let's be honest here. there's a lot of differences white and black cultures, and a lot of those differences need to be talked about, made fun of or called out. He does a great job bringing these uncomfortable ideas, observations and discussions up via humor... albeit dark humor sometimes. I admire that about him.

1
BropolloCreed 1 point ago

100% agree. I like being challenged ideologically, and Dave is funny AF when he does it.

Bottom line: he gives shit to both sides. If conservatives got butthurt over perceived slights, we would be both better than liberals and their collective fake outrage.

2
N7fury 2 points ago

Yeah, true. I love Chappelle but thought when he slammed Candace Owens and threw her under the bus was a bit distasteful. She is such an important voice in all this and painting her out as an idiot was wrong. I do appreciate a lot of his comedy and I agree he is a loose cannon but saying that club owners bend over backwards to get him the mic is another example of how irrelevant the racism issue is now.

1
GreatNW 1 point ago

Make money and flee the black community heading to rural white Ohio. Not that I blame him but the hypocrisy is pretty palpable there.

0
PartTimeHick 0 points ago

Y'know, I don't ble black people either. After decades of being lead the wrong way, I'd be frustrated too. In fact, I am for different reasons than race. The trend of increasing both surveillance and militarizing police is disturbing. What cops need is regular, intense hand to hand training not more AR-15s.

Dave is another one of these BLM retards who claims oppression and rampant unfairness for blacks in America.

2

1

Well, she is a fucking bitch.

But she's OUR ficking bitch.

4

I don’t always agree with what Chappelle says but I respect his opinions as thought out - and of course defend his right to say them. Same with George Carlin or Sam Kinison or Chris Rock.

I’d even defend the loathsome Spike Lee - but I’m sure he wouldn’t return the favor.

1
LemonManBad 1 point ago

I don't respect his opinions but he has a right to say what he wants.

1

Well, Spike Lee is basically the devil, so...

White face doesnt bother white people because he literally just looks like the ghost of a black guy. DAE feel that way?

25
americathegr888 25 points ago

It doesn't bother white people because white people aren't retarded low IQ hyperemotional children.

17
df0ster5 17 points ago (edited)

Stereotypes exist for a reason.. hip hop and thug culture destroyed black america, not racism, not slavery. MLK would be rolling in his grave if he saw some twit wannabe gangster walking down the road with his pants half off, with shoes and headphones more expensive than the house he lives in. Thats why people get offended by race jokes, because it hits on their culture and they know being the type described above is nothing to be proud of

Its also why normal people like Candace Owens can laugh ehen Dave Chappel makes jokes about her because she knows she has nothing to be ashamed of because she isnt part of that joke thug culture and actually made something of herself

15
magnokor 15 points ago

The show was funny.

If you wanted to laugh at jokes for any race you could.

If you wanted to be offended, watching a minute or two was probably long enough for that.

The people who watched the show back then and laughed and laughed are now the ones in power today and canceling and firing everyone for saying mean things about "minorities"?

Then again, maybe more people needed to watch.

When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong

All these people "keeping it real", burning down a hamburger store or looting a cheesecake, if they had watched that episode they would know there are consequences.

8
I_Used_to_be_me 8 points ago

America used to be able to laugh, in a unified manner where party politics and race didn't come into play. All in the family was a great representation of that. My dad used to do a bus trip to a summer yankee game every year, and it'd be mostly middle-aged white middle-class workers that went; presumably a pretty even split of right vs left people, and we'd always watch the chappelle show dvds on the way there as part of the movies/shows we'd watch during the trip. Nobody took any offenses, we all just laughed, and then watched some baseball. I miss those simpler times (this was early 2000s, right when it all really began to start changing)

3
Yucky 3 points ago

90s-2000s were awesome. Nobody gave a damn, and just had fun. Of course, woke media was festering in the background, but they didn't explode and take the mask off until later. Then everything went down hill.

I would give anything to get that back.

6
WhitePowerRanger 6 points ago

Or the rick James sketch. I think that’s more relevant. If you stomp a nighas couch with your muddy boots, you gonna get yo ass whooped

3
Yucky 3 points ago

The people who watched the show back then and laughed and laughed are now the ones in power today and canceling and firing everyone for saying mean things about "minorities"?

A million times this. When I see people virtue signaling, or couch fainting about how they are SO OFFENDED. I think to myself, "Ughhh, didn't we all used to watch Chappelle's Show together and laugh? What exactly changed between then and now."?

It's just such transparently phony outrage.

2
DinsdalePiranha 2 points ago

I loved his his show. His skits were often based on, "Could you imagine if this happened?" Like what if there was a sitcom called "The Niggars?" What if there was a racial draft? What if George Bush was black? What if a klansman turned out to be a black, blind guy under the hood?

It wasn't pointing out racism as much as pointing out the absurd aspects of racism and they bashed everyone. No one could get away with anything like that today. My woke kids wince at it while they're laughing their heads off.

15
lasmejoresmaga 15 points ago

pretty sure we all agree that this is not offensive & actually pretty funny. maybe the permanently offended can take a hint

14
bobobob 14 points ago

This was during a time in the country where it felt like we were making progress towards equality. We could have a show like this that made fun of the dumb racial stereotypes of the past. It's sad to see how far the "progressives" have regressed the country to where we now have to be offended by these dumb things again.

3
WhitePowerRanger 3 points ago

How progressive of them to regress everything lol

5
bobobob 5 points ago

Their trauma based politics don't work if nobody feels traumatized by dumb racial stereotypes anymore.

8
nero2003 8 points ago

It's funny, but if roles were reversed and it was a white dude in black face, that dude's careers and life would be over. It's just the hypocrisy that pisses everyone off.

3
momspaghetti 3 points ago

Robert Downies Jrs. pulled it off great in Tropic Thunder, and now he's the face of Marvel. Like all things; context matters.

5
Pandas4Trump 5 points ago

Tropic Thunder and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia used appropriate context by mocking the sheer absurdity of the behaviour

The double standards are beyond ridiculous...

4
Grief 4 points ago

Remember when pointing out stereotypes was funny and not racist because we all liked pointing out what makes us different from one another? Whoever turned that into a negative thing is an asshole. Dave Chappelle is hilarious and always was. Wrong sometimes but the dude is funny.

4
watchingindisbelief 4 points ago

I feel like this is probably one of the most overlooked instances of minorities clinging to double standards. I tried to watch Black AF, just to see why everyone was fawning all over the director, and literally within the first five minutes of the first episode the main character says, "I hate white people". Can you imagine the scores of Wal Mart and Target stores that would burn the night Netflix produced a show where a main white character said, "I hate black people"?

And that's the problem, it's really not about equality, it's about persisting behavior they would normally condemn if it were coming from the other side. And personally I say fuck it, let them play this game because not only is there no long term benefit, but as long as they encourage hypocrisy like this nobody will ever really take them seriously.

3
TighterGradeofTail 3 points ago

I'm hoping with a bit of time, if the dust ever settles and this whole situation has been analyzed, Dave will see sense.

He's one of the few celebs that would raise a hand and admit he fucked up.

1
deleted 1 point ago
2
Barthaneous 2 points ago

He fucked up first of all by thinking George Flyod is a hero. Said that the cops made him one.

Ehhh nope. Wrong. BLM and people like him made him A hero. A 9 time convicted felon? Dun fucked up there.

Secondly he ridiculed probably one of the most articulate and patriotic black American woman alive right now Candace Owens as being a cunt.

Sorry but even though she laughed it off, forgave him and challenged him to a debate , IMO Dave Chappelle fucked up big time.

Black people who are on the fence will look up Candace Owens now and see how cool and good of person she is. And they will say Dave is Wrong.

He fucked up and his last special was 100% shit.

Eddie Murphy did a similar bit back on SNL.

2
Space_Force 2 points ago

Just goes to once again show the double standard that exists. Lefties can get away with anything, Chapelle, Jimmy Kimmel, Gov Blackface, Trudeau, Sarah Silverman, Howard Stern can all wear blackface and no one even cares. Just like "metoo" ignores Biden's sexual assaults.

But Trump's secret code dog whistles are obvious calls for a race war and milk and maple syrup are racist. 🤡🌎

2

Exactly. It's because he's a lefty. His wife supports fags, and he supports Islam. It's all B. S.

YES he's funny on many topics but when it comes to this shit he's not.
Candace Owens is making a difference. She's good looking, articulate, educated, a woman overall and is black. She's pro God, Family, Life, America, etc and he calls her out?

Sorry but even her response to him was classic and Bada$$. She laughed at him gave him his due as a classic comedian but also forgave him and then challenged his ass to speak like he did in her face.
He has not accepted (yet).

3
MAGAsoyboyslayer 3 points ago

Typically liberal. Provide with facts and they will ghost you. She should give him black on black violence statistics LOL. Crickets.

1
DinsdalePiranha 1 point ago

Yeah, "Blacks should get mad. Speak up!" "Not you, Candace, shut the fuck up!"

2
MAGAsoyboyslayer 2 points ago

They only like blacks on the plantation like Samuel L Jackson in Django Unchained lol.

It is sad because Dave Chappelle says his relatives were slaves that got their freedom. They are doing rolling in their graves right now because Dave is supporting the plantation owners.

2
SpezIsACommie 2 points ago

Love me some Dave Chappelle. One of the funniest human beings of our time. Period. And doesn’t pander to any political group. He just has funny jokes.

2
xBigCoffinHunter 2 points ago

That shit was hilarious. I suppose I could choose to be offended though.

2
eviantears 2 points ago

It’s absolutely disgusting how possessed & obsessed black Americans are with vengeance. If it’s so bad GTFO & stop speaking English & playing basketball.

Being white in 2020 = “original sin” Catholicism c1300 AD. By virtue of skin color Blacks claim indefinite retribution & “reparations” for injustices suffered. Do they think white people are going to just roll over & die from guilt???

Bigotry is bigotry. I’m sick of black people getting a pass “because of slavery”. Everyone makes excuses when they don’t get what they want.

Grow the fuck up Black America - accept responsibility for your own actions instead of blaming everyone who is white.

2
Wharf_Rat 2 points ago

Chuck Taylor! "murder rates are down did the Puerto Ricans get reparations too?"

lmao such a good episode

1
ed_shaw 1 point ago (edited)

He's good at what he does, humor at an adolescent level. I have only seen him a couple of times, but both times it all has led up to a climax of an ugly, profanity and hate-filled rant. It is kind of a gotcha, since he has a way of leading up to it that you know it is coming, but you still sit there watching. We'll not know if his white audiences are paid. it would seem that way. Either way, it is amazing that anyone but racist blacks and sociopathic whites could find him funny. He's actually on the same level as white kids going on line and ridiculing Negro characteristics, so, in a sense, it is payback, but, to who, really? Bottom line? Thumbs down. (Oh yeah, he is also a Black Moslem, if that matters.) https://celebreligions.com/dave-chappelle-religion-ethnicity-and-political-views/
