Went for a ride today. Lots of people out and about. Covid outdoor dining spots were filled. Turn off the tv, people.

It was a joke. Have you considered you might be retarded?

Oh. DOH. U got me. Actually, yes, I (and my family members, and now that I think about it, my children also) have sometimes wondered if I am retarded.

I can hear protests from my house, but I’m the vast minority. The goals of terrorists is control through fear. So if you’re fearing, recognize it as partial success by the terrorists and school your emotions. Don’t let the fear take over

Or look at the market. The market believes this is nothing that will blow over.

8
OneOfMany_MAGA 8 points ago +8 / -0

The market realizes that these riots almost assure a Trump victory. Things that further reduce uncertainty tend to boost the market.

I'm not walking for shit lol.

My plan, until I can move the fuck outta this liberal hell hole, is hide out in my home and prep.

I used to he a liberal, a socialist liberal, and moved to the most liberal city I could think of to "be with my people".

Then I got the red pill. But I'm making moves to get the hell outta here for good. Gonna avoid liberal cities for the rest of my life.

All the protests are in Democrat run cities... the worst are in democrat run states

This is the biggest red pill I have seen. Rioters immediately run at the sight of armed civilians. Clearly the 2A works.

6
PepeLeKek 6 points ago +6 / -0

Talked to a couple people personally who have changed their views on guns. Don’t know how much their other views have changed but at least it’s something.

7
NACAM 7 points ago +7 / -0

It's so stupid that it takes something like this happening to change their minds. People don't think for themselves.

3
lifeisahologram 3 points ago +3 / -0

The worst of it is in democrat cities for sure. But I'm trying to find a place to move to, and I figured a good place to search would be where no protests occurred. Every place I could think of seemed to have one. Sioux Falls South Dakota and and Boise Idaho even had protests....

4
NACAM 4 points ago +4 / -0

I would recommend SD or WY as I currently live in both places. Constitutional carry, mild summers, nice people and low cost of living. I will say that while there were protests in Rapid City (and even a few antifa retards) it's all been calm... you can see why from the pictures.

It's peaceful where most of us are, myself included, I just worry what happens when they run out of businesses. Yes, we are armed but who can take out an entire mob if they start smashing your home's windows??

8
DatNewbChemist 8 points ago +8 / -0

People don't need to take out an entire mob, just make people realize that they're betting their lives to play this stupid game. There's a reason one man with a single handgun can hold back ten people - each of them knows that while there may not be enough rounds to kill all of them, what they're anteing up to lose isn't worth the risk. Two people on a business's rooftop with loaded ARs and a few extra magazines can keep a mob of 40 to 50 away, guaranteed. It may, very sadly, take a few shots to help illustrate the point of what people are putting on the line, but the point will be made.

5
coupgardener 5 points ago +5 / -0

Depends... what capacity are your magazines?

EDIT: I'm not suggesting you do this, but it is possible to 3d print a drop in auto sear...

3
TD_Covfefe_Crusader 3 points ago +3 / -0

Take out just one and the rest will fuck right off. If not, I have no problem with taking out the rest of them too.

9
cyber_acolyte 9 points ago +9 / -0

This, like the Corporate pandering, is a demoralization technique, I believe.

They truly are the enemy.

OneOfMany_MAGA 8 points ago +8 / -0

I’m vacationing at the beach (rented a beach house in my state). You would have no idea anything is going on. Even the COVID stuff is receding. Had 2 great scuba dives. Peaceful and totally chill.

Sorry for those having to deal with the criminals. To our soldiers, secret service, agents, and police protecting Americans from the predators and would-be insurrectionists, thank you! This republic is special. And of course thank you to my favorite President, who has handled the situation perfectly.

8
Zippythekid 8 points ago +8 / -0

They are doing this in big cities with a lot of news coverage. In a country of 350 million people the “mob” includes about 10,000 - 20,000 total spread across a continent. It’s all an illusion, just remember who is pushing it in the media and on the democratic side and never forgive them.

Grady Judd, the Polk County sheriiff has been mentioned on no less than three disparate podcast I listen to daily. I believe, as I live close to Polk County, that his speech has had a chilling effect on many in our area that may have been thinking about raiding peoples homes.

Grady Judd dont fuck around. Neither do most rural people here in Central Florida.

I actually like my city Little Rock and am proud of it. It has problems, but who doesn't. The crap is escalating each day because the mayor and the police chief don't do anything to stop it. Like today, the Police Chief, which was hired by the Mayor, which enthusiastically accepted an endorsement from a lunatic leftists that ran into a cop with his car, and took a picture with him on a separate occasion, the Chief allowed people to sit in the road all day long and block downtown traffic. Fucking bastard asked them early on to move and they refused. He continued trying to ask them to move and they wouldn't, so he let them sit there all day long...

More examples of this crap, but basically, by allowing them to do this, they are encouraging people to do it more.

5
DatNewbChemist 5 points ago +5 / -0

That's when you just start doing mass arrests. I think what will really sting is if these people (not the peaceful protesters but the violent rioters) get slapped with felony charges and on top of their prison sentence, learn that they've forfeited their right to vote and be politically active in that formal sense.

5

All quiet on the eastern front. Beautiful and peaceful, every other home is armed. American flags flying high, gardens blooming. Neighbors of all races going for walks and greeting each other with good mornings. I love this country

4
Redleg37 4 points ago +4 / -0

The other day I was with my wife and kids in our car. I had my p320 carry in my pocket. We ended up driving through a “peaceful gathering”. A protester decided to block traffic 2 cars ahead of us and unmarked police began arresting him. The crowd drew around the police (and us) and was quite angry; every cell phone was out to record it.

After returning home I said I wanted to keep my ar-15 locked in our car when we go to town and to my surprise, my wife (who enjoys shooting but never really takes security seriously) agreed.

I am an American who happens to live in Germany for the time being. I hate seeing what is happening to my country. I decided to unplug from all the news; it makes me want to wretch.

4
DatNewbChemist 4 points ago +4 / -0

Same. Thankfully I live in a place where I imagine people would be incredibly hesitant to start some shit. There might be a few oddballs here or there that will get some sweet karma, but Antifa fags would really likely want to think twice before getting too crazy. I could easily see someone, molotov in hand, thinking they're starting the next revolution QUICKLY getting a free bullet in the head - if not from police, then from someone living in the community.

4
Herecomedatpresident 4 points ago +4 / -0

Incredibly important to remember.

4
Tonightm01 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes, but it is worrying what has taken place over the last week. It should not be brushed off as something "not happening where I live in America, so I dont care".

Not so much the actual riots surprisingly. The language coming out of what is meant to be government officials. Stuff I've never personally heard before.

Police chiefs saying they will not support or defend businesses being looted. Mayors puling back police forces so rioters can go ham on people. Governors saying police need to apply a "light touch". Even people in the justice system helping rioters get out of jail.

Has there been riots before? Of course. Have I ever lived through riots that basically had the support of the local government and police? Fuck no.

That is what I'm worried about and what every America should be very worried about.

1
CantStumpTheTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well this is why a great many of the decisions made at the federal level that get applied to all states should actually be states issues and there should be a wider variance between the individual states.

3
GrizWallerOGV 3 points ago +3 / -0

There are a lot of, and I'm sorry to say it, defeatist cucks running around here. They've spent so long convincing themselves America is doomed that they've got blinders on and can't accept realities like what you just described. It's gonna be rough for a while, but they never killed the heart and soul of this country and they never will.

2
Destineed369 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree with others. I sat out on the porch with some beer last night. I live near few people or lights. Perfect bonfire weather!

It truly pays off to turn off. Also don’t use social media. It’s designed to be psychologically toxic.

2

Pretty sure that the heartland of America is just shaking their heads about the protests. As long as the area is not struck badly by Covid that is. Really sad how emotional distress causes people to turn their brains off.

2

Sadly this bullshit is in my relatively small but very liberal city. 😓

Sadly, many of us (like myself) don’t live in these areas. I wish I lived in a Red Zone!

2
Dialectic 2 points ago +2 / -0

There’s a protest near me this weekend. It’s a small area so the likelihood that it changes from protest to riot is small. If it does though, well, see you on the news

2
deliquo 2 points ago +2 / -0

I went for great motorcycle ride in the country this past weekend. My biggest issue was literally how distracting and beautiful the countryside was.

Anyone that wants to leave their "blue" politics behind and come join us away from large cities should seriously consider it.

Oh yeah, if you're able bodied, firearms are required out here. It's a sign of responsibility and maturity to be able to defend your family and community.

Yep small peaceful protest of about 20 people happened just south of me in Petersburg, Virginia. They marched up into my city for about 20 minutes and marched back into Old Towne without causing any problems. All signs looked homemade too and didn't have that mass produced look.

1
Erikabodereka 1 point ago +1 / -0

So true. I went shopping yesterday at a place just a few miles from where protests were happening and everyone was acting like normal, civilized human beings.

Taking over your own territory is easy. They wont like trying to take red territory. Media cover or not, that'll be the first tipping point that gets people out of their homes.
