As a Canadian, I can tell you that the first reply with the "Democracy Index" map is total bullshit. Canada is not a Democracy, either is America. The USA is a Constitution Republic, but Canada is a Federal Parliamentary Constitutional MONARCHY. We have WAYYYY less rights than Americans. I can't go out and buy a gun without immediately going on a watch-list. If I say that a Tranny is a man, I can go to jail. Children can be taken away from their parents and the HAVE been already, if the parents don't support the child's "transition". Our "leader" is LITERALLY Fidel Castro's son.

I know brother. Canada has gone full cuck. You had a chance to knock Justine T of her high horse and yet somehow she’s still the queen of Canada. Good luck or come on down this way.

The US elected Trump after eight years of Obama. Don't give up, Canapedes.

CdnMAGA 28 points ago +28 / -0

I'm not giving up but we will never have a Trump here, just mentioning that you're against abortions is political suicide in Canada now. I'm living my dream for a guy like Trump through you guys

Well we need more folks like yourself, you would be more than welcome. We are being diluted at an increasing pace.

Canada is not lost. I’m staying. My Grandpa didn’t bomb the fuck out of Germany so I could run away when some communist from Quebec tells me not to go outside from his press conference standing outside.

Just saying, Canada has a long history of turning out absolute cream of the crop snipers. Don't deny your heritage, embrace it.

This ^

Canadians had a chance to knock Justin Trudeau of her high horse back in October. They decided to double down.

It is a country run by women & soy boys.

Yep every single Canadian voted for him, very accurate and not close minded at all! Just like how obviously for 2 terms every single American votes for Obama, so woke! 😂

Well the problem is the either/or system. Whoever gets 51% of the vote wins, and fuck the other 49%

Blaze-Bless 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm with ya brother, can't paint with a broad brush like that, the people get fucked by a corrupt political system and then our brothers in arms are like "hyuck hyuck hyuck y'all got what y'all deserve morons!🤤"

We are all on the same team here, plenty of Canadians didn't vote for that cuck, none of us voted for this firearms bullshit, like get fucking real 😂 height of ignorance. Team West baby, stand united, stronger together ✊

Edit: spelling

Why do people accept a corrupt political system? We all get what we deserve. America voted for Obama, and we had eight years of misery. Now we picked Trump and things are fantastic.

If everything is so corrupt and nothing we do matters, then how is Trump the President? Canadians have it bad now, but they could always correct course if enough of them wanted to.

LinconChurchill 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not every Canadian voted for him; grant you that -- I certainly was in the opposite side. But Canada lacks any sort of electoral college, so by the time Toronto & Montreal finished voting, the results were known. The rest of the country does not count (Alberta & Saskatchewan)

Red_Ensign 2 points ago +2 / -0 (edited)

Trudeau took a big hit in the last election and now has a minority government instead of a majority. Conservatives got more voters.

Canada doesn't have anything resembling an electoral college except for our rubber stamp Senate (which isn't even elected) so the federal elections are decided by the two big liberal cities, Toronto and Montreal. In 2019, all of Toronto's ridings went liberal which is unprecedented.

This comes after a bill loosening our voter ID laws was passed.

We know. Good job catching up.

I don't think there's a single country on earth that only calls itself a 'democracy'. Get upset over something besides terminology that no one uses.

Canada has indeed gone full cuck (living in Canada), but ... without going in to details of constitutional republic and etc. etc. ... US is indeed a true democracy. Just saying.

8
bigdickhangsright 8 points ago +9 / -1

It's a Republic on the national levels but closer to a Democracy on the local levels.

There is a good reason why things are like this. The blame goes to a large part on the people themselves. Canadians have been bred to have unquestioned faith in their govt and be sheeple. The amount of socialism that Canadians want is crazy. They just don't realize it because they have a rich society so they continue to feel as if they are living in a free society and not a socialist society.

US on the other hand, has people bred to be suspicious of the govt., because of its 1st and 2nd ammendment, is still a truE democratic system, however much they have been eroded over the years. I come from a society where gun ownershpi is not common and people do not like the idea too. I was the same, but now that I am seeing what the motherfucking islamoleftists are like, I am fully able to appreciate the need for 2nd ammendment. I'm not happy with the conclusion that gun ownership is a necessity to protect your freedom and democracy, but that is irrelevant to the actual conclusion that in reality it is necessary to have gun ownership rights to protect your freedom

Have you seen Bolsonaro’s recent comments on why every Brazilian should have a gun so that tyranny cannot prevail in Brazil? The Supreme Court is threatening to impeach him.

I've seen some but i will look into it more. Crazy.

Check out @BasedPoland on twatter. He’s been doing a great job covering it.

He threatened the courts that if they impeach him they should know that he’s the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces and he won’t back down.

There is good news and bad news as a Canadian if Trump loses in 2020.

The good news....dems would open the border so I'll be able to freely move to the states and claim citizenship (a life long dream of mine)

The bad news....Dems would completely destroy America so badly that I'd be better off staying in Canada.

The only chance I have is to open the website that I thought up back in 2016 where Canadians can exchange their citizenship with Libtards who promised to leave the country after Trump wins the election.

You seriously think if Trump loses the border will just be open to you? You will still have to apply, wait in line, etc etc. It might takes years. I know of people who have applied 10 years ago who never got in and they fiance was in the USA waiting to get married.

Where did you get this notion that it will somehow be different?

If any rules are relaxed it is only going to be for illegal aliens coming across etc.

The monarchy has nothing to do with the erosion of our rights. There is no bill that isn't given Royal Assent.

Section 33 and the insane complexity of the Constitution as a whole is the issue. That and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms is constitutionally protected but the Canadian Bill of Rights is not.

Everything started going fucky in 1968 when Pierre Trudeau was elected.

Children can be taken away from their parents and the HAVE been already, if the parents don't support the child's "transition".

Sadly, I don't think the United States is any different in this regard. I'm pretty sure CPS has already removed children from homes in the US where their parents refuse to "accept their gender identity," as it's ironically being considered a form of child abuse. I can tell you for a fact that public schools in the US have a policy of hiding students' gender confusion from their parents, reenforcing it on school grounds, and notifying "authorities" if they become aware of parents or guardians who aren't "supportive".

SquidThrowFaux 2 points ago +2 / -0

And I'm the bad guy for not wanting to have my income/property stolen each year to fund this.

But think of the children reeeeeeeee

DocOne 2 points ago +2 / -0

If you look at that map, the only countries considered the "most democratic" are all socialist shitholes in Europe (and your Canada). Major gaslighting.
