Also it should be stressed that the quote from the article simply says that drug is used at Greek hospitals...as in it's stocked because its a common drug used to treat malaria..

They say this but also then begin explaining the French hydroxychloroquine study..... they were simply saying they stock it because its a common drug.

Also, a research team in France from the team of the famous professor of infections, Mr. Rault, used a form of drugs that is already used in all Greek hospitals. Use of the drug in 6 days led to a negative for the virus in 90% of patients, compared with the control group that did not take the regimen. Of the control group, 96% remained positive for the virus during that time.

Lets break it up.

Thought 1 --

Also, a research team in France from the team of the famous professor of infections, Mr. Rault,

Thought 2 --

used a form of drugs that is already used in all Greek hospitals.

This is just a poorly written article.. it simply explains the results of the French study.

If you’re calling him/her/xim/xer an ‘apologist’, you’ll have to explain what you mean, I’m too dumb to unnnerstand wut you sayed howed you was talkin it.

It’s easy for anyone to project meaning/interpretation that they want to believe onto evidence. The difference between our side and the filthy lefties is that we are not afraid to scrutinize and deal with reality.

He scrutinized the article and demonstrated that it does not actually offer supporting evidence for the ‘promise’ of the headline.

That doesn’t mean the ‘headline story’ is necessarily wrong, it just shows that THIS isn’t proof. So we’ll need to keep looking to find ACTUAL proof. No more or less.

The chart indicates SOMETHING is different; if it’s HCQ, there will be proof of that somewhere.

Ultimately our arguments are stronger if they’re supported by more than hope and rhetorical interpretation.

I am Greek, he is saying that for some patients that have severe symptoms we are also using the treatment protocol that was shown to be effective at 96% in France - do you know of another protocol that has a 96% effectiveness rate?

"Εγώ γνωρίζω, γιατί είμαι σε επικοινωνία με όλους τους γιατρούς σε όλα τα νοσοκομεία που περιθάλπουν ασθενείς με το νέο κορωνοϊό, ότι όλοι παίρνουν χλωροκίνη» τόνισε."

He also says that as he is in contact with doctors from around the world chloroquine: "everyone is using it" and that we have sufficient amounts of the medicine

"Θεωρώ ότι υπάρχει επαρκής ποσότητα του φαρμάκου και μπορεί και διατίθεται αυτή τη στιγμή και στην ελληνική αγορά"

and you can get it in pharmacies

You are discounting google translate changing the meaning of things.

used a form of drugs that is already used in all Greek hospitals.

This translation could mean that it is already widely deployed in all hospitalization cases. That it is a drug used in hospitals and is available. Or even that they are basing the treatment on the recommendation of Dr Raoult.

That's not how I interpreted it based on the body of the article

Want to know what's really happening with the Wuhan Flu? Look at the countries the news isn't talking about.

Many news sites are now picking and choosing what figures to report on. Sometimes you get death numbers. Sometimes you get new case numbers. They are spreading confusion as if they get a high number one day they report it to make you think its always been high. When in fact the last day's numbers were down.

Its a western MSM combined effort to keep the population's moral low as possible.

As Italy and Spain continue to come out of this the news from there will dry up. The countries that are dealing with it the best are very surprising to me. Germany and Sweden. Germany you need to wear a face mask. But Sweden should be high lighted to fuck no matter what you think of the country itself.

Ricky_CIA 28 points ago +28 / -0

It's the difference between countries that are being factual (like Greece) and countries where the physicians are being pressured either politically or financially to inflate the number of COVID deaths.

In the US they're cooking the books to get that sweet guaranteed Federal money. The unintended consequence of that assistance cash is that it's massively inflating the numbers and politicians are using that as leverage to "keep us safe".

There is no bigger lie than "I'm from the government and I'm here to help".

SordidPontification 6 points ago +6 / -0

Sweden is the most interesting case, in part because the conservative media is reporting that they didn't close anything and the liberal media is ignoring it entirely.

The reality is that Sweden has done a more targeted response than anyone else and the results are exactly the same as extreme quarantine measures--because such measures simply don't work.

Some things of note:

  1. Sweden closed schools for older children, because they claim that there are studies younger kids don't spread SARS-CoV-2 as much.
  2. Restaurants and other services are still open but with the requirements that they limit the number of patrons and move tables farther apart. Bars no longer have shoulder-to-shoulder seating.
  3. They put up shielding at point-of-sales long before anyone else.

What this essentially illustrates is that we wrecked our economy for absolutely no reason. I'm starting to suspect based on the data that "flattening the curve" didn't matter a single ounce. Given the antibody tests from LA county, NY, and NJ (ignoring the Stanford study from Santa Clara due to procedural issues), it's quite apparent that the penetration of the virus into communities is about an order of magnitude greater than testing indicates. Add to this the results from the USS Roosevelt and the 3300 inmates tested from various prisons, and the story appears to be that asymptomatic cases occur in 60%+ of the younger populations less than 30.

We should have isolated older people and put our efforts toward either grocery delivery or closing stores in the morning hours to anyone under 60 until this blew over. Combined with drug therapies, this would've had a very limited effect. Yes, potentially more people would have died, but Sweden's figures are bringing this into question as to whether it would've been statistically significant or not.

Also, Sweden's median age is 40.9 years versus the median age in the US of 38.2 This means that more of their population is older, on average, than ours. While they have more deaths per million from COVID-19 (225 vs 170 as of this writing) it's not the dramatic outcome one might expect.

The quarantines did nothing.

Piemonte Italy (state/province) is giving out Hydroxychloroquine for free in their pharmacies.

Imagine how much calmer these people feel when they are in control of getting a FREE treatment that is clearly useful. Over here, your family Doctor isn't even allowed to prescribe it when you have symptoms - hospital only.

Never thought that I'd see the day where the Left would sink so low that they would fight against a freaking cure for a disease just because a Republican President said that it works. Democrats are dangerous. The party must be destroyed (in the political sense).

The disinformation is stunning

Decades-old, super cheap, proven safe drug derived from quinine known by the trade name Plaquenil, mainly for malaria and lupus, has 95-100% success rate in curing COVID-1984

If you want patients cured and the death rate to plummet, you promote that drug. The ones promoting it are known as 'good people'.

If you don't want patients cured and the death rate to plummet, then you're the people known as 'bad people'. What are some actions you could take to bear that out?

  • Instead of the easy name Plaquenil, commonly known all over the world, use ONLY the unfamiliar 18-letter, 6-syllable generic monstrosity hydroxycholoroquine

  • Do not tell people the "chloroquine" part of the alien word that's in pool cleaner will kill you; this way, some idiot will die that Trump can be blamed (impeached) for [Edit: How hard would it be for a CIA handler to simply command one of their mind-controlled operatives to go eat some pool cleaner, to have a FF Trump-attributable death?]

  • Denigrate and deny the effectiveness of the drug, despite avowals from doctors including Raoult, among the top infectious disease experts in the world, of near-100% effectiveness with minimal side effects

  • Keep people from learning of the stunning effectiveness of Plaquenil / HCQ

  • Hide reports of cures of patients barely clinging to life, within hours of taking first dose

  • Be as nauseatingly fascistic as possible in the iron-fisted suppression of the cure and cure awareness: literally delete posts and ban accounts of doctors reporting on the success of HCQ

  • Get drooling fanboy of traitor and child-trafficker Hillary R. Clinton to parrot WHO dogma to instill sense of danger and fear and avoidance of HCQ
