Could be fake nurses too...

71
MSNPC_Snooze 71 points ago

Another nurse on here apparently called this out as possibly fake and fishy.

22
Peashout 22 points ago

Anyone can buy scrubs.

13
MaxineWaters4Prez 13 points ago

That was me. We don't have time for this shit, or the energy.

5
Kekception 5 points ago

Seriously thanks fellow nurse. This shit makes me so mad. I work fucking hard day in and day out. Seeing these stupid tik tik videos and other shit is so cringe.

SnowflakeJuice 2 points ago

It think what will be truly amazing is when word gets out how many of these corona virus patients actually died of dehydration and neglect. Patients had to turn in their phones and relatives where not allowed into hospitals.

Stories coming out from survivors are horrific

It was the top post on that commie site's "trashy" sub. It was a video being filmed from behind this nurse and showcasing the verbal altercation he had with the woman in the passenger's seat of the truck.

The comments were exactly what you'd expect from that lot.

The fix was in on this one. No way was it authentic. Has the stink of globalist shit-stirring all over it.

If you want to know the proper way to deal with asshats like this, go watch the video that supposedly "shames" the woman in the passenger's seat, but focus on the driver's side.

The dude, I am assuming her husband, is casually eating something with a spoon, and never stops throughout the entire encounter. Completely unfazed, doesn't miss a bite. Actions truly speak louder than words. Homeboy owned it without saying a word.

AngelMark 50 points ago

Don't nurses and doctors deal w communicable diseases EVERY DAY? Isn't helping the sick the reason they went into medicine? I'm thankful that their are people out there willing to be medical personnel but why are we making them out to be hero's NOW? This is the career they chose...to be around SICK PEOPLE!

29
DeadOverRed 29 points ago

I think the "frontline heroes" line is coming from the opposition propaganda. This country has long appreciated doctors and nurses, but, as you said, why now? Why are they "so brave?" For taking less pay because there's no work to do? For showing up to work even though there's a flu going around? The same doctors telling people to stay home are the ones stealing people's Trump flags.

3
Kekception 3 points ago

I don’t need the media telling me I’m a hero. I already served 5 years in the military. I already have saved and lost lives over the years. This is my profession. I don’t need kudos from the media for doing what I was paid to do. The real heroes are the poor souls that lost their jobs and are struggling to make ends meet. People that are too stressed out to make a nurse tik tok video. Ugg fuck this

1
DeadOverRed 1 point ago

Exactly.

22
SheepleMaster 22 points ago

Apparently they should only help "obedient" sick people, that's what I hear commies on reddit saying, shit like: "If you go to a protest you shouldnt be allowed to be treated at a hospital" etc

9
SomeDiggity 9 points ago

I saw a comment very similar to this. It's infuriating.

6
MaxineWaters4Prez 6 points ago

There are a ton of liberal low info retards in hospitals. Their only sources of info are CNN and their facebook feeds.

That being said, this was staged. Those are not healthcare workers.

4
18-to-life 4 points ago

well Let’s be fair, very few doctors or nurses expected to put their life on the line, this is very unusual life threatening work for them.

It’s like if a bunch off teachers stepped up and decided to start carrying at school, to protect the children from whacko Leftist CIA-planted shooters, that’d be heroic too

1
MustangManny 1 point ago

I don't know, I studied to be a lowly lab tech and took many classes on dangerous viruses and bacteria that we could be exposed to in a hospital/lab setting. Things like MERS, and MERSA (Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus) stuff that most antibiotics don't fix. Some strains of MERSA have developed some degree of resistance to even the strongest antibiotics (vancomycin). MERSA among other dangerous bacteria is found in hospitals. So I would say yes, health care workers do expect to be exposed to life-threatening situations, and learn to take proper precautions.

1
18-to-life 1 point ago

MRSA (a bacteria) is a kitty cat compared to COVID (SARS2), SARS1, and MERS. MRSA is everywhere in hospitals, and has been for as long time, so yes a healthcare should expect exposure to it. But really MRSA is almost always nothing the nurse has to worry about catching, those viruses are a different story.

STEP 2 - Lean on the horn button until person moves aside

DONE!

Brown sound.

5
OrangeElvis 5 points ago

yeah - I thought of that. However, in a pinch - just go out and buy a box of air horns, walk up to them and blast one an inch from each ear without touching them. Pretty sure one way or another, they aren't going to keep standing there. Bring your own earplugs, however.

HockeyMom4Trump 17 points ago

I think we flattened the curve, which we were told was the original objective of the stay at home orders. We were not on board with staying home until no one ever got sick again.

1
DarkMemeDuck 1 point ago

Mark my words, they will learn that this curve was already going down long before March and the shutdowns. They are already finding far more people have the antibodies than should possibly have them.

There's a massive push of this shit on reddit right now. Unlike anything I've seen.

I got my account banned sitewide for the first time yesterday too. There's something fucky going on related to the election

4
based_unicorn 4 points ago

Yes, starting last night I've seen this narrative all over social media, pushed by people who I've never seen post political commentary. Getting normies to protest the 1st Amendment...it's mindblowing really.

1
DrVSGGEOTUSPhD 1 point ago

The protesters are being vilified non stop on Imgur too, and they're both sites have people spamming the idea that the protests are a PSYOP being run by a shadowy figure, this based on the fact that many of the state specific websites were registered last week by one entity. But that's standard procedure if you're doing activism

14
babyface 14 points ago

If they're real nurses in scrubs for work, then they ought to have their hospital ID on them. Surely they'd be willing to show it to verify they're actual nurses and not clowns in scrubs, right?

12

I work in healthcare. They are absolutely empty. There are a few nurses dedicated to covid but the vast majority of staff is doing nothing or furloughed.

8
Trumpublican22 8 points ago

I work in Radiology management at a hospital in Kansas. We have been cutting hours big time. We have had 7 total positive cases since this all started. Yes the hospitals are empty... I know people from most other hospitals in my area and they are all cutting hours.

6
Stinkosaurus_Rex 6 points ago

I'm not saying the two people standing in crosswalks aren't medical professionals, but the optics are so good, that I'm skeptical. It's a fantastic story that drives emotions (and clicks).

If I was really suspicious that these two people were frauds, I would pull up the dress codes for the various hospitals and see if their scrub colors correspond with the what the counter protesters were wearing.

For example, UC Denver lists the only the following colors for scrubs - navy blue (nurses), gray (clinical professionals), Caribbean blue (rehab professionals), wine (clinical support staff), and jade green (pre and peri-operative services).

Looking at the products from MedLine, the approved vendor for UC Denver scrubs, their Caribbean blue scrubs don't appear to match the color worn by the counter-protesters. While subjective, that could make the two people in the pictures not meeting the dress code of one of the hospital systems in Denver.

Now it's just a matter of someone who has some spare time looking at the dress codes for the other hospital systems in Denver.

Source if anyone cares: https://www1.ucdenver.edu/docs/librariesprovider31/education-docs/colorado-springs/7-19-uch-memorial-dress-code.pdf?Status=Temp&sfvrsn=c4b274b9_2&fbclid=IwAR1K_QAbzvUPN1W3NbB0uMJ3Iy3lyt0YwhBIbZEf5A4Zlu5YZXzR_z0ADow

Outstanding work my friend and great thinking! I appreciate the effort that you put into this!

6

Why are they wearing masks and big, dark sunglasses? Are they worried they will be identified as fakes?

2
OrangeManVeryGood 2 points ago

I was wondering this too. Why are both “healthcare workers” in sunglasses while at least the lady in the truck isn’t? Do they always have their shades in the hospital?

6
OneBigMaga 6 points ago

If you purposely stand in front of my car, do not be surprised if you get ran over.

5
SomeDiggity 5 points ago

I drove by UC health on Saturday where this happened just to see how busy they were and it was a ghost town. no pun intended

5

Paid actors. Whores, in another parlance.

3
DrAugustBalls 3 points ago

Medical professionals who work at hospitals and urgent care clinics are probably slightly busier than normal. But what I’ve heard from nurse and doctor friends is that many of them over staffed in anticipation of a big surge that never happened.

Medical professionals who work for specialists (like dentists, podiatrists, dermatologists, etc., etc., etc.), do physicals for insurance companies and businesses, and a whole host of other functions are likely sitting around their houses twiddling their thumbs like the rest of us.

3
Beat_to_Quarters 3 points ago

How do we know they're nurses and not just counterprotesters wearing scrubs and face masks.

2
TheironToaster 2 points ago

Probably not real nurses, Paid government shills told to go play antifa and stand in traffic like a bunch of assholes.

2
Nalgahyde 2 points ago

Somebody made another post calling out this fakery. It's more than likely some liberal activists dressing up in scrubs in order to take some propaganda photos. Someone looked up the streets you see in the background in the photo to the left and, apparently, there is no hospital anywhere near that area. There is only a condominium complex.

2
Space_Force 2 points ago

Everyone should sneeze on him.

2
rattle_snake_master 2 points ago

I can't stand these sanctimonious medical staff making tiktok videos, gloating, and chastising the public who are unemployed and on their last legs financially. I know they aren't all like that...probably just the liberal ones like that fuck eugene gu who always posts on trump's twitter

2
Space_Force 2 points ago

I was waiting for them to do the "Stop don't touch me there, this is my no no square" dance.

Girlfriend is a nurse and she never gets called in on her on call shifts, the converted parking garage has never been used and sometimes she even comes in around 8 hours into her shift (albeit rarely).

1
SakaSouffle 1 point ago

Very fake nurse

1
kmilt16 1 point ago

Here is a theory. Staged and paid.Take one screeching broad with USA on her shirt, add a meticulously dressed "nurse" in weird-looking scrubs, add a strategically placed camera..Bingo=Charlottesville.

This video and pics were on the UK Daily Mail, which pays for all content. You should have read the scathing comments from the Brits about all "the dumb Yanks."

1
substantialmajestic 1 point ago

Standing in a street with sunglasses on and your arms crossed actually works to block traffic? writes this down

1
DirtyBastard13 1 point ago

Was watching Coffin Dance memes earlier. Are they really so busy if they can do silly (albeit entertaining stunts? Either hospitals are slammed or they are not, can't have it both ways. It's especially galling when the dances look well choreographed and not like a bunch of amateurs thrown together. I did theatre and choir and it takes practice to get any performance into shape.

1
procomm 1 point ago

Total Photoshop job. Look how small that guy on the left is compared to those trucks.

2

Lol, he looks alright compared to the trucks behind him, but that would have to be the biggest Ram pickup I've ever seen! It would take up two lanes!

1
Luvmyhub75 1 point ago

I’m sorry but what I’ve realized through this entire situation is how trashy so many healthcare workers are. There are a lot of good ones but the god complex so many of them have been gassed up to have is really disgusting. Sit down shut up and stop lying about your hero status!

1
Thedoctorisin 1 point ago

Internal medicine resident here from a 600 bed hospital in the great lakes area. Capacity is 50-60% right now. Very low, typical capacity is 80-100%. Lots of people in the medical field right now that are not working in a hot zone have a lot more time on their hands. I've had several call shifts recently with no calls which never happened pre covid. Usually I'd be fairly busy. I am not a nurse but at least at my center, their workload seems to have decrease substantially as well.

Also while we have almost completely restricted visitation except for things like end of life, I've not heard any credible stories, including from my colleagues at other centers, that patients are having their phones seized. Everyone has their phone and generally uses it a lot.

1
the-new-style 1 point ago

their work ID badges are kinda small, dontcha think?

1
OhGonzo 1 point ago

All due respect to nurses and doctors, but what are they doing? Are they looking at people like disappointed parents? Just ask all the dead beats out there how well that worked for them... Then get tf back in the hospital.

1
RussianLimbaugh 1 point ago

People who’ve been told they’re nonessential, not allowed to work, but want to work are being told to shut the fuck up by people who’ve been told they’re essential, allowed to work, but choose to dance & protest instead. Good look, retards.

1
Straight_Ace 1 point ago

I’ve noticed there hasn’t been much activity at my local hospital but then again Western Massachusetts isn’t a place for big cities. But if there’s empty hospitals in big cities there’s an issue.

1
Calabrio 1 point ago

Denver County. 75 "deaths" from Wuhan Virus.

3
SomeDiggity 3 points ago

And zero deaths from anything else.

1

Crisis actors. Dumb fucks. I’m a nurse and I work with covid 19 patients. That’s what I do take care of them. Not stand in the fucking road pretending to be counter protesting. Get the fuck off tik tok you dumb fucks. Go back to work. It’s a slap in the face seeing you act like the entitled fucks that you are. I’ll keep busting my ass.
