Rebuilding on sand. What this faux pandemic has demonstrated is the world is weak and filled with sheep. Fucking pathetic. Trump should have told Fauci to shove it up Hillary's ass.

Yes, should have never been declared a pandemic by WHO. Trump got blindsided and frankly, I don't understand how. Seemed like obvious bullshit to me.

Did he? Maybe he seen it was bullshit, but knew his enemy was making a mistake. Now Trump looks like a hero.

noone wants to be the president that didnt do anything while a new virus, from chyna no less, is working its way around. we didnt know, and most of us have been had. Including trump in my opinion. He had no real disease things happen luckily so there wasnt much need to look into fauxi and company (literally bill gates company lol)

Why anyone thought that any government response would be anthing but 100% failure ill never know. I think we did all right considering half of our players dont play for the USA. Imagine how much damage we stopped by electing Donald Trump.

Week 14 is the last complete week from the CDC page shown. They run 2 weeks in arrears. And even after will have some adjustments to the numbers for months. Week 14 ended April 4.

OTOH there could still be UUUUGE numbers of corona caused deaths, but even bigger drops in total mortality because nobody is working or driving, two big sources of death.

I donno, just thinking out loud.

And NY cured the flu - this is huge - you could argue trump is saving lives. LOL OPEN THE COUNTRY

I want this to be true and I want it to be relevant, however, this just seems irrelevant and fake news. Please be careful when you post things like this. People blindly believe it and run with it and then they look like idiots when it is false.

This is comparing flu and pneumonia cases year to year. No one will argue that flu cases are down and that means nothing. You said “death” are down, not flu deaths are down.

I do want to see what total deaths, or even better simply sickness deaths, year to year are.

Do you think 770k peolpe have died of flu so far this year? This IS total deaths. We ARE down about 38k deaths, total, for the year. Total is the most relevant number because it is too easy to distort the cause-of-death as we all know.

Its actually pertinent to keep in mind average deaths year to year to get an accurate depiction of how dangerous Covid-19 really is. Not "fake news" like you say.

Insert "Now do it with projections of an entire bullshit country wide shutdown and fearmongering germophobia." meme.

Would it, perhaps, maybe, possibly, have something to do with the middle of week 8? Which is mid-late February when everyone started freaking out about it and places started shutting down, while the Democrats kept calling for people to join the Chinatown party...

No, that would just be a coincidence that doesn't manipulate information to your belief.
