From Michigan. Live in North Carolina. Progressives are destroying the two states I love. This is a perfect example of why there’s only one kind of good communist.

Be aware of the progressive takedown method used in Colorado. It already looks like Virginia is on the same path. Who knows how many other states are targeted.

No offense, because we like people like you, but as a native Tar Heel with 4 decades under my belt, the reason this is an issue is because of the rust belt moving down in droves. Please tell your friends not to come here.

nutup_orshutup 9 points ago +9 / -0

I think it is more of an issue with the ultra liberal state migrants locusts from CA, NY, etc.

The problem isn't that, its mainly the democrats flooding red states with illegals and refugees, not to mention brainwashing your kids at colleges and universities, who then return home and vote blue.

I don't know a single democrat here in Kalifornia who would move to a "red state in fly-over country". The only people i know leaving Kalifornia are conservatives which may possibly include myself in the coming years. The only reason why i can stand living here is because my family which has been here since around 1900... though seeing everything they built get destroyed by the left is heartbreaking. My grandfather built St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral right in the center of Los Angeles, which is another thing that has kept me here. Check it out. I'm sure you Jesus loving pedes will appreciate it. https://saintsophia.org/

Yes and no. I don’t get why people keep on blaming brain dead liberals and ignore immigrants? Immigrants are the real problem, they are coming here by a million per year. It has been 55 years since 1965, so there is about 55 million immigrants and more because they have children and grandchildren, so I won’t be surprised if we have close to 100 million foreigners in America. That’s real problem. Liberals moving from blue states? More or less than 5 million. Quit blaming brain dead liberals.

There are some mountain lions in my neck of the woods and a bobcat who basically lives in my yard that would disagree with you...

Oh and some coyotes

1standboobs 1 point ago +1 / -0

Can confirm, West coast pede here with BIG kitties roaming through the yard. Killed a neighbors pit bull last week like it was nothing.

2
AndrewLB 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not really. We've got rattlesnakes in SoCal, bear, mountain lions, cougars, traps, and all sorts of deadly hazards to worry about. Not to mention having a great white swim up while i was sitting on my surfboard once and thankfully continued on his way.

Cooper has to go in November.

46
SquiggyMcPepe 46 points ago +46 / -0

This is all due to Trump. Why? Because he has cleared out enough of the swamp for people of good conscience to be able to survive the process of fighting for their rights. Yes we were that far along the path to losing our country. None of this would be possible if hillary had won and if it had happened under obama's terms he would have used the government to run them out of office or even frame them for jail. Now people feel like they can fight and the backlash is going to be epic once critical mass is achieved. It will start with texas opening and its economy taking off like a rocket for the rest of the red states to follow which will put huge pressure on the blue states to follow. I think we may have this beat.

Side-o-Beef_Curtains 18 points ago +19 / -1

You are sooooo right. It gets absolutely no press but out here on the west coast POTUS and our beloved turtle man in the Senate have completely reshaped the ninth circuit Court. We are suing to end the restrictions of our rights and winning. It takes time, but I don't think people will understand the true magnitude of Trump's effect on the court system for at least ten years.

T_BigD1745 14 points ago +17 / -3

Our "beloved turtle man" is a RINO piece of scum, he will turn tail as soon as it benefits him.

So long as Trump has him by the balls and he is effectively filling judicial seats I'm happy. I have very low expectations for career politicians.

It's mind boggling that 61% in NC believe Gov Roy Cooper is doing a good job handling the virus.

Of course this poll was taken before the protest arrests.

NC votes Dem for Gov and R for President, traditionally. I hope that changes before it's too late.

There's going to be some interesting developments nationwide if the Blue Sates choose to stay in lockdown. Businesses will migrate away from them so fast.

I had a dust-up with a bank that had a closed lobby (the only one - the HQ of course was in a blue-state). We decided to close the account and move it to one of several banks that are doing either appointments or limited people inside (literally all of the other ones in my state - including ones which we have relationships with VPs - so not it's not low-tier transactions). They couldn't close accounts in drive-thru was their excuse - even with notarized certificates, not just the usual IDs (which was presented) - and could give no timeline for when the lobby would be opened.

The polite talk ended pretty much there.

I can't recall in the middle of the haragne if it was the threat of calling the police or notifying attorneys for what would be arguabily the easiest massive win or settlement in their history, but the home office relented pretty quick because they called back twice. Let's just say - if you have accounts with BMO - I'd be watching that shit because some banks are getting 'very' odd in their behavior.

Since it was rectified - I can't recommend a bank-run on BMO, but I'm not a fan of them at the moment (understatement x9000).

The point is - if confidence begins to seriously erode with institutions - whether they be financial or govt, from bureaucracy or executive over-reach - things could get ugly real-quick . And I'm not talking cute protests either. I was so angry the back of my mind noticed that if the pneumatic transport machines were sabotaged at BMO's drive-thrus they'd effectively be out of business. That's the level of hate that was creeping into my skull (briefly).

The scarier fact - this was a microsecond 'evil thought' that popped in and was dismissed. Given probabilities over population size, demographics, and situations - really sketch shit could break out. In a very real way. Because I'm all too aware that if I can think it - someone else can do it.

Now weight the dice with people under pressure. Under real tangable emotional reactive pressure from quarantine and job-loss. That's one really messy equation that's going to be bad when it goes from theory to practice.

Regards to blue states staying open. The people here in Nevada Re already sick of our govenor for many reasons. If the strip doesn't get open soo. He will likely not be able to control what happens. The money he runs the state on Comes from the vegas strip and mining

6
tufftoffee 6 points ago +7 / -1

A two-tiered economy. Red states flourish and blue states crumble under its own ego. This would eventually cause everyone to move to red states, more money and funding and seats to red states, and a reversal of the system we have now.

5
neverreddit 5 points ago +5 / -0

And all those red states being destroyed and turning blue. When people move they bring their idiotic politics with them.

1
tufftoffee 1 point ago +1 / -0

Maybe the separation would be great enough the US would split and more walls would be built

The Constitution is the law of the land in our country, not tyrannical politicians.

4
pookiee68 4 points ago +4 / -0

Not for Democrats, the Constitution is what they are wiping their asses with RIGHT NOW. These Communist Democrat Retards swore an oath to the Constitution, every one of them, and then DENY OUR RIGHTS on live TV every day!

2

I'm still shocked at Raleigh, NC saying people aren't allowed to protest.

Unbelievable.

10
Arwyn3x 10 points ago +10 / -0

It pisses me off That ALL these ass hoes from Barr on down have only managed to remember the Bill of Rights now after Easter was infringed on for millions of Christian Americans.

Shame on you fair weather show boats.

9
Side-o-Beef_Curtains 9 points ago +9 / -0

After all the court systems reopen, constitutional lawyers are going to have a hell of a year suing these tyrants into Oblivion. Time for these idiots to see just how many constitution loving judges have been appointed in the last four years

6
the_mcgee 6 points ago +8 / -2

Yeah, the mayor is a dictator, but the real scary shit is how eager the COPS are to comply with this shit in every state.

The only reason the “based sheriff” in MI backed off is because they don’t want to deal with armed and pissed Americans as evidenced by them not saying shit ‘til protests started happening.

NC Senate Judiciary Committee. not THE Senate Judiciary Committee

4
fadingecho 4 points ago +4 / -0

The Governor will say it was a mysterious stranger in blackface who issued the order.

4
VetforTrump 4 points ago +4 / -0

Big take away on this.

If you are going to violate a governors pretend law in the form of executive order, then do it by protesting that order. Your right to assembly and the redress of grievances is the true law. And it appears we have advocates willing to hold those acting under the color of authority accountable.

3

3

JB Pritzker first please.

2
Tonightm01 2 points ago +4 / -2

Overreach is the word of the month.

Ist not even that. There are INTERNATIONAL LAWS on human rights. Rights that even Trump himself could do fuck all about. All western countries signed up to those laws decades ago and will always talk about it when a rouge African country pops up.

The fact is there is nothing at all any policeman or woman can do about it.

Though they will try to use scare tactics when trying to enforce bullshit laws.

9
VetforTrump 9 points ago +9 / -0 (edited)

No fucks given for International law, they exist to eventually usurp our constitution which if followed GIVES Americans plenty of protections

There were trying in as eloquent and roundabout fashion as they could to not outright accuse her of breaking her oaths and trampling the constitution. It leaves an out for her if she 'clarifies' her position and stands down or a path to political destruction if she opts to keep the eo in effect. Rather brilliant wording to be honest especially the way they managed to include a faint tinge of sarcasm. They are learning from Trump's example.

4
Qwikphaze 4 points ago +4 / -0

Plus it gives her the ability to put back on police instead of owning up to overreaching.

2
VetforTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

It forces her to either say yes I ordered it and back her LE or throw them under the bus weakening her authority to enforce as they will be one headshy to help after that.

Him. Its to Roy Cooper of NC.

And the state congress is corrupt as hell. R and D alike.
