Tucker pwned this bitch.

NoSteppy1776 162 points ago +162 / -0

Tucker is God's gift to television.

131
GuacBowls 131 points ago +131 / -0

Tucker is what Bill O'Reilly should've been.

140
NoSteppy1776 140 points ago +144 / -4

He's almost like the spirit of MAGA personified. He's not a bootlicker like Hannity. When Trump veers from his America First vision, Tucker calls him on it. I remember Scott Adams making the point that Tucker may have even actually prevented a foreign war because he criticized a decision when Trump was considering one.

115
Tenenmous 115 points ago +117 / -2

I think Trump himself said he watched Tuckers monologue and it influenced his decision to pull back after the Iranian attack on our drone.

God bless Tucker, and God bless Trump for being man enough to pull out after initially committing. That is one of the hardest things to do in life and we are all better off for it.

MortyArk 53 points ago +54 / -1

Why do you think its so easy for Trump to run circles around these people? They are all dug in and never give an inch because it is an illusion of power. In reality they are sad and predictable.

It is probably why they don't teach open ended thinking and problem solving in school.. too dangerous.

45
slangin_paint 45 points ago +45 / -0

These people have been winning a fixed game their whole life and that is all they know. They have never had to succeed in honest competition.

17
Vox_Dobad 17 points ago +17 / -0

I think this absolutely nails it. They've simply never encountered someone in power who doesn't play by those rules, and on top of that, calls them out on their bullshit

6
VetforTrump 6 points ago +6 / -0

They are the ultimate in participation trophy winners.

2
dubler6 2 points ago +2 / -0

Very true. Great observation.

10
myswedishfriend 10 points ago +10 / -0

I give Trump a lot of credit, but honestly it would be so goddamn easy to win against these people but so few on our side are willing to try. They refrain from doing the right thing because they are afraid of what the media will say.

This is so true. Liberals who are mostly City dwelling people are over socialized and so much of their value is based on superficial things. The image of intelligence.

That's probably because their professions don't build concrete things?

50
bubadmt 50 points ago +56 / -6

I can't stand Hannity or Laura Ingraham for this reason. They can never admit Trump isn't always right on everything and it just feels like they're in some sort of a cult where the leaders word is supreme. Tucker thinks for himself and calls out discrepancies when needed. He's actually authentic.

24
BigDickEnergy 24 points ago +24 / -0

Based journalism is based

13
Forte 13 points ago +13 / -0

This is why I like this place unlike redacted or basically anything over on Reddit. We're willing to call Trump out if he does something stupid. They'll never do that for their preferred politicians. It's also great for Trump too, everyone in power needs somebody to keep them honest. Trump has a very supportive base, but will let him know when he fucks up.

2
jrivera1041 2 points ago +2 / -0

Trump has been an amazing president and has done so much for our country. I disagree with his deal of the century that would lead to a divided Jerusalem. Other than that, I couldn't be happier.

6
ryvrdrgn14 6 points ago +7 / -1

Getting everyone onboard requires a variety of outlets that people can gravitate towards. Tucker, Hannity, Q, Tim Pool, heck to even some extent Jimmy Dore have their followings and they are either bringing people on the train or helping them get off the democrat bus so they can start thinking for themselves.

Different strokes for different folks.

6
rooftoptendie 6 points ago +10 / -4

I think hannity is meh and I cant stand that Laura Ingram. She is just awful.

14
Robert 14 points ago +14 / -0

Huh, I thought Ingram's had some pretty good segments. Granted, I don't watch her regularly like Tucker, so I'd be interested to know what you dislike about her.

12
rooftoptendie 12 points ago +18 / -6

I am a female, and to me she is a female who acts like a male. She is too aggressive, she purposely lowers her voice (she is one of those women who think you cant get respect unless you use your 'power voice'), she makes no effort not to sound grating or harping, and she is constantly making a point of how she is totally unapologetic about anything she does or says.

I think our current commie society is lacking in positive female role models. And by that I mean FLOTUS style females. Females who really embody what it means to be female.

I dont like how Laura is so dykey. Because she has the potential to really be a positive role model for females if she would just have a modicum of true grace or femininity. She is very beautiful and well mannered, well educated, lucid and erudite, and a generally positive person in outlook. Yet she takes no interest in taking that extra step in refining her manners and polish to NOT appear as a harpy Karen.

FLOTUS is where its at. And Chanel Rion is really awesome as well. Candace is really stepping up too, she has made a lot of improvement. And Sarah Sanders is impeccable as well. I don't see Laura as of the same tier. And it disappoints me.

I watch Ingraham about 1:10 to Tucker. Hannity zero.

I think she actually is a lawyer, clerked for Clarence Thomas, etc. I think she blows it out for TV reasons...everything is bombshell.

26
FeddyCaeks 26 points ago +33 / -7 (edited)

I'm gonna stop you there at 'bootlicker'. I'm sorry, I was under the impression that 95% of the media is completely in the DNC's corner. The idea that we would actually insult Hannity when every single day he's one of the few voices in the media fighting against leftism, at the cost of his own personal safety like every other high profile conservative, is fucking INSULTING. Frankly, I think you should be ashamed of yourself for calling him that. You can dislike him all you want for whatever reason, but to basically imply he's nothing more than a US version of the CCP's media arms is too far, and I wonder how often you've actually heard him/watched him.

I'd also like to point out - Hannity doesn't claim to be a journalist (did you actually KNOW that about him?) He's opinion, he knows he is, he says he is, yet he does better investigative work than any lazy leftist MSM who claims to be a fair arbiter of news.

Banning bump stocks, exploding debt, Trumpbux.

2
CQVFEFE 2 points ago +3 / -1

Yes because we have a critical shortage of brave voices willing to criticize President Trump.

1
thedaynos 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hannity is a pede. We support trump. It sounds like you're a libertarian who wants trump to be a libertarian. Trump is not a libertarian, he's Trump.

1
FeddyCaeks 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'd like to know when anybody on this board has ever criticized the President for anything? I'm not saying there should be a litany of critical threads or anything, that's not what this faux-subreddit is about. But you're accusing Hannity of something that many people on here don't even do. And even then, why would he even bring up things to criticize Trump about on his shows? Isn't there plenty of shit to criticize leftists about that there isn't much time for him to worry about "OH MY, TRUMP SHOULDN'T DO THIS OR THAT!"

I remember Scott Adams making the point that Tucker may have even actually prevented a foreign war because he criticized a decision when Trump was considering one

Remember too that Adams regularly uses exaggeration and hyperbole as persuasion techniques to make a point

As such I'm not ready to hand Carlson a Peace Prize just yet.

It may very well have been Donald Trump who prevented a war, rather than Tucker Carlson.

I really enjoy Greg Gutfield in the Five, Juan is insufferable though

12
Carry_Your_Name 12 points ago +13 / -1

The Five is unwatchable because of Juan. Every time he opens his mouth I immediately mute. He's really like a human NPC that only spews out preprogrammed script.

6
Robert 6 points ago +6 / -0

Juan is like a combat training dummy. He exists to show you how liberals are going to argue and exactly how you can take them down by following the hosts' examples as they tear apart Juan's obviously illogical arguments.

4
Carry_Your_Name 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, liberals, but not today's leftists. Big difference. Liberals at least stick to their talking points which are essentially the core doctrines of their secular religion, while leftists are a mob with NO arguments. They're not interested at having any conversation. They just put labels on you and shut you down.

2
FeddyCaeks 2 points ago +2 / -0

At least Fox's democrats are actually democrats, unlike CNN/NYTs/insert your least favorite media outlet here's republicans who are nothing more than democrats registered as Republicans.

3

Yeah, consider them the black velvet in the jewelry box that highlights that brilliance of the gem. Dumbasses like Juan Williams and Marie Harf make the dems look more stupid then they really are.

6
LaPastillaEscarlata 6 points ago +6 / -0

Gutfield is BASED AF.

And I fucking HATE that he's on Fox, because just agreeing to Fox's terms that "Da, you can make amusing right-wing show... but only on condition there is at least one Party member on air at all times. Say hello to Comrade Juan. No Comrade Juan... no show."

FUCK THAT SHIT.

Why would someone as absolutely BASED as Gutfield ever set foot on the same panel as that piece of human filth, I will never understand.

24
mikeroolz 24 points ago +26 / -2

Hannity is boring, repetitive, predictable and repetitive. I don't even watch him half the time.

He's not even in the same league as Tucker.

17
newchina 17 points ago +20 / -3

He’s also repetitive.

13
rooftoptendie 13 points ago +13 / -0

Meh, idk... I don't think it's that he's repetitive so much as it is that he says the same thing over and over. And on top of that, he reiterates himself constantly.

9
FeddyCaeks 9 points ago +9 / -0

Hannity is repetitive because he's trying to make a point about things. He's also one of the top radio and TV shows out there, and he's very important to conservatism.

9
mikeroolz 9 points ago +9 / -0

I agree, but I also don't like watching him.

I like him fine as a person, but I just can't stand his show.

2
Vox_Dobad 2 points ago +2 / -0

There's something to be said about that. Being repetitive, that is. Annoying? Yes. But generally, his repetitive points are valid.

5
PresidentDJT 5 points ago +7 / -2

Ingraham's cool.

2
SharonaZamboni 2 points ago +4 / -2

I dislike. Maybe it’s because she seems to have perfected the opinionated woman persona. I don’t generally disagree with her opinions, but she’s a bit off-putting to me because it comes off as snark, even if she’s totally correct. May be a chick thing.

7
SharonaZamboni 7 points ago +10 / -3

Tucker is the best interviewer. Actually lets the guest answer. You know, the real reason to have a guest.

Hannity and Ingraham just use guests to break up their monologues. Poorly, at times.

33
CnnWillBlackmailYou 33 points ago +36 / -3

No, he "pwned" him once, then let the fucker talk without answering his question. I'm sick of this shit. Hold their feet to the fire and MAKE THEM ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION. I'm SO sick and tired of them being permitted to vomit word salad without answering the fucking question, and they ALL, Tucker included, let them get away with this shit.

28
Mother_of_gains 28 points ago +28 / -0

Eh. Pretty clear to anyone with a brain that Murphy was refusing to answer.

16
CnnWillBlackmailYou 16 points ago +17 / -1

You presume that we're trying to convince people with brains at this point.

At this point, anyone with a brain has already realized that the media is the enemy.

We're at the point where we need to cater to the moron. The person who still considers MSNBC a reliable source of information. People like my coworkers.

3
Mother_of_gains 3 points ago +4 / -1

Decent point sir. Happy to have an honest disagreement with another supporter of the god emperor.

3
WhateverNecessary 3 points ago +4 / -1

So make him refuse over and over. The only point of their drawn out non-answers is to move the conversation away. Why let em?

People like this always ruin their own credibility and squirm when they're pressed. This got posted here a couple days ago, perfect example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pdnkbs4l_g

2
Censorddit 2 points ago +3 / -1

Yeah but we gotta keep idiots in check too. Cant let then spew bullshit. Period.

14
Earloakridge 14 points ago +14 / -0

I suspect Tucker would prefer to shred these people into oblivion, but I believe he is aware that if he pushes it too far he will have a very hard time getting anyone like this to agree to come on his show. I think he has to walk a fine line between effectively proving his point and embarrassing his guests.

11
Carry_Your_Name 11 points ago +11 / -0

There's no need to shred them, and there's no way to convince them. The right strategy is to ask the right questions to tick them off and make them expose what they're really up to. That's what our president has been doing, the latest example is that presser beginning with that video montage of how the fake news activists totally ignored the virus in january and february.

0
CnnWillBlackmailYou 0 points ago +4 / -4

It's a weak argument. If your guests don't answer the questions, you've done nothing but give them a platform to spew their rhetoric. I'm tired of it. I want ACTUAL answers. I'm exhausted by having to constantly "read between the lines". If you're interviewing a person, MAKE THEM ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION you asked! I'm sick of having to hear half assed non responses.

3
ImpeachTheWitchHunt 3 points ago +3 / -0

If they spew bullshit as an answer, that means they’re full of it! There you go. You don’t have to guess. Or dispense brainpower.

Forcing people is for leftist commies. Our side is for freedom and the pursuit of happiness.

Can you imagine Tucker treating ANYONE like our presstitutes treat President Trump? I would disown him! (He’ll never stoop to that, so no worry)

9
CannonballJunior 9 points ago +10 / -1

FCOL he asked the man REPEATEDLY. The idiot just kept refusing to answer and everyone watching saw that. Tucker absolutely did his job.

6
Schifty 6 points ago +6 / -0

The Governor is not going to answer because he knows it is unconstitutional, his lawyer would have told him that. And he doesn't seem to care.

2
Listen_FAT 2 points ago +3 / -1

What are you expecting him to say lol? He's a fucking politician and this isn't a gulag. Vote his ass out is about all we can do.

8
Robert 8 points ago +8 / -0

Tucker might be the only person on TV, except for Ingram maybe, "Where do you get the authority to do this?"

It's such a simple question, but the answer reveals everything. They don't have the authority and they never had the authority to do this.

3
minur_ownbiz 3 points ago +3 / -0

Tucker actually told him that he does not have the authority and he said “I asked a lawyer “, “We have broad authority in the state”. Basically “I did it because I can”... at that point Tucker did not push. He should have asked him what the lawyer said and ask who that worthless lawyer is...

So far it ain't working for shit on my wife. We're in New York and she totally embraces every goddamn restriction Cuomo throws down. We just got into an argument about the fucking face mask bullshit edict that fucking scumbag put into effect today. I told her, I'll sit in a fucking jail cell before I let the governor force me to wear a face mask.

I know it's a small thing, but it doesn't matter. I think the only thing that will wake up my wife is seeing me get dragged into a cop car because I won't wear a fucking mask in public. I think that it is literally getting to a point where people are going to be looking at me in disgust if I'm not wearing a fucking mask. The fucking virtue signaling is out of hand in this state - and we're in Rochester!

7
Herecomedatpresident 7 points ago +7 / -0

The face mask thing is so ridiculous. It's not mandatory in Massachusetts (yet) and I'm pretty much at the point now where if I see a young able bodied person wearing one while out walking or riding their bike I don't even want to talk to that person ever again. Sorry about your wife too, maybe she feels pressure from friends. Or women love to virtue signal (source: am woman)

4
fat50 4 points ago +5 / -1

a young able bodied person wearing one.

I'm not young, but I'm young enough. My wife is like: "but what if you catch it?" , and I'm like "who cares. I'll get sick. Ill get better. If i don't, life goes on."

It's like she's never been sick her whole life. The brainwashing has been astounding.

AZ pede here: Yea, I gotta say I'm super glad I live here right now. Corona did absolutely nothing to change my daily life.

7
AtariArtist 7 points ago +7 / -0

Plus we have the largest Nuclear Power capacity in the nation. Even in a worst-case we have TW of power with minimal manpower required to maintain it (plus plenty of water - our reservoirs are nearly full and snow-melt is only just starting - don't know why idiots were going nuts with bottles).

Sucks that the Navajo nation got hit by a visitor from Tucson. That's the only tribe to be hit that I'm aware of nationwide, and they represent a large chunk of our state's infected count.

I'm a big fan of our Tribes so I'm particularly annoyed that it took an idiot from the liberal city to act as a walking smallpox blanket.

NJ pede down south by Long Beach Island! I think you're absolutely right, our shitty fucking governor and Cuomo and Whitmer aren't going to be too happy about giving up all of the rights that they've stolen from us in this time of crisis and as the rest of country slowly returns to work and normalcy, we'll be kept under lock and key by loser Democrats who want to see our economies fail and get us sucking on big government's tit...

There's a facebook group I'm in, "We Live in Bergen County", thats chock full of bootlickin bimbos and morons generally cucked by the government, who are perfectly happy being forced into this quarantine. They're the type of people who are like "but without the government, who will stop xyz from happening??!??? THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!"

I love NJ for all of its commercialist conveniences and access to the NYC tech job market, but god damn, the coronatime quarantine has elevated my vitriol for Trenton to new heights.

8
DeliverancePrime 8 points ago +8 / -0

This. I about shit my pants when he said that and if there was ever an answer that should've been drilled down on, that was it. I was disappointed that Tucker let him off the hook.

Between that and his nervous little laugh when he said he wasn't thinking about the Bill of Rights, I came away from that interview seeing red.

They thought they could throw the blame on the federal government and Trump, but they already fucked up. Trump got them to accept full responsibility for it. It was the governors and mayors that shut everything down. Everything is on them.

10
flashersenpai 10 points ago +10 / -0

There are suits being filed already, in particular regarding religion and the 2A. For example, Georgia Carry filed against the state to halt enforcement of carry licenses since all the probate judges stopped processing them. Gun store owners in some other states are also suing their govt.

"Do not forget that these people want you broke, dead, your kids raped and brainwashed, and they think it's funny."

28
bigfive 28 points ago +28 / -0

It's like asking a dictator of some country "Well, you can't just tell people what to do and when to do it, it's against your country's written law." And they can only stare at you blankly because to them, this is their whole reason for existence: complete and total power over others.

In his mind, he doesn't need a reason. He owns you. He believes with all his heart that not only is he better than you, but he has complete and total authority over you.

During this crisis, it is (thankfully) impossible to hide your true self. It is on display for all to see. This guy isn't even trying to hide it.

Anyone who watches this and can't see the plain and utter disdain these people have for the law, freedom and individual rights has already willfully given up their rights, their humanity, and their soul to their new gods: the government officials.

14
silflay 14 points ago +14 / -0

People here are so cucked it's unbelievable. They think you're going to catch this virus and die just by walking around outside. Everyone is wearing paper masks that offer nothing more than placebo.

I couldn't get into stores today without a mask. Four weeks in and on the downslope of this whole thing and NOW they want masks. It was never about public health and I'm not sure why so few see that when they keep tightening the screws after we've already spent a month locked up. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

2
Langtath 2 points ago +2 / -0

I feel the same way. There is no way in hell I'm wearing a damned mask. Nobody, let alone some power hungry, virtue signaling local mayor is going to tell me what to wear. I went to the store and waited outside while I gave the worker my shopping list. They brought everything out in ten minutes. The next purchase I made, they brought it to my house.

3
bit0101 3 points ago +4 / -1

It's more likely the workers demanding masks after getting real tired of morons coughing directly at them all day. Not saying you would do that, but I hear complaints daily.

1
hazelknut 1 point ago +2 / -1

this is the type of reason i can respect. i don't see any overwhelming reason to wear a mask everywhere i go, but if it puts the frontliners at ease, i can put my disdain for stupid shit aside for a few minutes.

Nah. If I was the English Police, I'd fine you for telling me that you need help defending your daughter from a Muslim Rape Gang.

It's all good, though, man. Just friendly friends being... A help word that starts with F.

Tucker Carlson is advocating that random governors cannot just step on the bill of rights because there is bad virus. But you are a shill and your account history proves that, so your inability to think rationally is expected.

The point is, no matter what the external threat is, the US government is not allowed to prohibit the peaceful practice of a religion. They can inform the citizens of the risk. The citizens are allowed to choose to exercise their religion in spite of the external threat. It's a legal question, not a logical one. Was it legal for the gov to have the Jews arrested for gathering in their place of worship? It's a yes or no question. Not a question of whether or not it was medically safe for them to do so. I hope you can see that this is a question of whether the bill of rights is allowed to be traversed or not.

"Not a logical one" - and that's where you lost me. You'd rather people die so others can praise imaginary sky wizards. Really hopeless as a species if this is what we believe.
