Mine will be going to firearms. So far my state hasn't gone in the way of Michigan, but I plan on being prepared if anyone tries to come into my home under the guise of it being for "public health".

Body armor, and rifled steel slugs with a compatible shot gun. In case Swat or National guard come to grief your mine craft house.

I will also be purchasing a firearm with mine. Any places you guys recommend to buy from? Also would be interested in recommendations for a good handgun

9
JohnWayne2 9 points ago

Anything made by Glock. Minimal controls and ugly, but they’re affordable and they just work. Every time.

5
Kronos 5 points ago (edited)

The only requirement when buying a Glock is ditching those God awful stock sights. Go to SevignyPerformance and grab a pair of his competition sights, made by one of the best shooters the world has ever seen.

1
JohnWayne2 1 point ago

Yeah, those factory sights do suck. I put a micro red dot on my g19, with suppressor sights as a backup.

3
Based_Trumpster 3 points ago

Sig Sauer. Great firearms, many models to choose from including numerous that are perfect for concealed carry.

Paul Harrell recommends a glock for beginners because it's simple, reliable and has high capacity. Here's his entire video where he discusses the pros and cons for a lot of things. It might help you make a decision.

use gunbroker.com and have that "on sale/auction" gun sent to your local gun store for FFL backround check. You'll save $100-$200 doing it that way. use ammoseek.com to buy ammo. Its a search engine for every known site selling ammo so you'll get the cheapest offer on top of the list.

2
Kottonballs 2 points ago

HK. I prefer their hammer fired LEM trigger so I can ride the hammer going into the holster. Had it on all of mine (P30Sk, P30, HK45c) until the horrible boating accident.

That said, HK, Glock, Sig, and Walther are all reliable handguns that work every time. Try one if you can before buying. LEM triggers are not for everyone, some prefer striker over hammer, etc. Find one that fits in your hand comfortably where you can easily reach the controls and reliably pull the bang switch with your booger hook.

Have never bought at either place actually. Prefer to buy online or from Silver bullet. Occasionally cabela’s if they have a sale.

1
d_lock 1 point ago

If you're not buying new, it can be better support for the LGS, too. Usually the transfer fee is a better return for them than selling a new firearm, considering they don't need to store and maintain your online order as inventory or cover the shipping.

If you're comparing used to used online, it may not be as much of a deal for them.

It's too late for me man. The world is under military Seige right now. China unleashed an almost genius weapon and has everyone dead to rights. I hate to say it but, at the end of the Day, Trump is a normie. The things we have known for 10 years, he had to learn in 3. He doesn't know the enemy like we do. It's too late pedes. This is where we FIGHT or Die. 2020 will forever be burned into everyones mind.

A BIG problem is many Governors (democrats) have closed their states businesses, and only allowed ones they approve of to open. So the small businesses that remain closed who are supposed to be the ones that benefit from this won't see any of it. The governors keeping their states closed are picking winners and losers.

Its time to open America up. No restrictions, no slow rollouts of openings. Straight open the country back up.

USA ALL THE WAY.

Make no mistake China means to dominate us and we have weak greedy weasel mother fuckers in our own country sucking on the Chinese tit.

Right now it’s difficult to buy USA if it’s an electronic device, otherwise I wouldn’t have any more Chinese shit in my house.

2
wisconsheepgirl 2 points ago

Well as far as computer you can have yours built to spec, mostly gamers. But in the end most internals will be China made (I think), but you could still assist your local economy by finding the local nerds.

3

There's some component manufacturers (like Gigabyte) in Taiwan, etc...it's a little better.

Some like EVGA are headquartered/assembled in the US but use Foxconn (Chinese) PCBs and stuff. Gigabyte probably uses Foxconn stuff too, I'm not sure. I personally do like EVGA components and their warranty policies are among the most consumer friendly.

2
NET123 2 points ago

I only buy EVGA GPU's. Never had any issues with them, and great CS. Same with their PSUs.

1
BonerDonor 1 point ago

I bought a refurb EVGA 970 GTX back in 2012 and it ran great for 7 years, no issues at all. Bought a new EVGA RTX 2080 Ti last year. No regerts.

2
SiBear117 2 points ago

Best motherboards and graphic cards are made by Asus which is HQed in Taiwan. They also use Japanese capacitors which are top of the line.

16
BaldyGull 16 points ago

Amen to that. Wife and I are looking to buy American. Luckily, we aren't impacted by the Chyna virus, so we are thinking we will donate our stimulus to the church down the road. They run a very successful food bank outreach.

Instead of $1,200 it should have been $2,020. Then the IRS could mail vouchers for a "Trump 2020 dollar bill" that could be picked up at your bank.

Picked up a Ruger .22lr - on order still because of the huge demand, but I've always wanted a plinker and there's none better. Just need to get a scope as I opted for a stainless steel barrel. May grab a 3-9x40 Nikon BDC for .22
