Got to say, Fauci's resistance to this is looking increasingly problematic.

From what I understand having read a load of stuff, there is no downside for 99+% of people to giving them Hydroxychloroquine, the side effects are well know, documented etc, so it really is a no lose situation.

So why is he so against it? I get the wanting to do everything by the book, but this is simply not the time to do the multi-month testing to tell you what you already know (safety profiles, toxicity testing etc), Hydroxychloroquine has already been through this at least 3 times for its current approved uses, there is nothing new to be learned here.

The_Litehaus_Abides 24 points ago +25 / -1

Nazi Fauci wants every human on Earth implanted with Bill Gates' ID-2020.

So that... "You cannot buy or sell without it."

Absolutely evil. And the President has thrown a BIG monkey wrench into their NWO plot once again, haha.

That's why there has to be many voices at the table and not just the med-heads. Otherwise, the economy will be destroyed and the consequences of that will be far worse than everyone in the country contracting the virus. It has a 5% death rate meaning 95% of the people don't die. Is it worth ruining everyone's life over? If you're at high risk, self-isolate until you feel the benefits of de-isolating outweigh the risks to you personally.

I'm getting sick of these short-sighted medical geeks calling the shots. POTUS has to weigh ALL factors not just the 'well, the FDA protocol states we have to wait until phase 4 is completed'. I'm sure Trump knows that he can't just listen to them.

Leaders take in all factors, not just myopic opinions.

1756_squanch 19 points ago +20 / -1

I think for people like Fauci and Birx, their sole mission is to eliminate the person to person transmission of the WuTang Flu. They are tunnel visioned on it and the media is blasting that out because of course, it's 100% impossible to prevent p2p transmission without an innoculation. The media will not allow DJT to get a single win, so a treatment that works on a large percentage of the population can only get negative coverage otherwise POTUS will look good.

The epidemiologists only have one hammer they only see one nail.

BuckyKatt60 23 points ago +23 / -0

Fauci isn't an epidemologist..he's a immunologist. Not that it excuses his aborrehent behavior. You go to war with the army you have, not the one you wish you had.

Bax101 24 points ago +24 / -0

Fauci is Gates commander of vaccines.

christianknight 3 points ago +3 / -0

He wants to collapse the economy so him and Gates can push their global vaccine ID program.

Work2gethrBiglyOrDie 11 points ago +11 / -0

Tv.infowars.com and banned dot video exposes Fauci and Birx.

Mexicola1976 17 points ago +17 / -0

When all is said and done, the mortality rate will be under 1%.

OhLollyLollyPop 4 points ago +4 / -0

And we bankrupted the country for it.

Scuffers 13 points ago +13 / -0

and that's why you need a non-specialist, genuine businessman making the decisions.

Trumps issue is he's kind of painted into a corner to take the word of these 'experts'

hello123456 12 points ago +12 / -0

the death rate is nothing remotely close to 5%

OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

Plus we have a good supply of it and can make more.

MAGA-licious 5 points ago +5 / -0

Type this in DDG: dr Fauci Wikileaks Clinton love letters

That’s why.

christianknight 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fauci is a globalist. His track record is quite clear.

kesquare2 1 point ago +2 / -1

While everyone is confirming their bias I'll just leave this here from the source article on Axios:

"according to four sources familiar with the conversation."

"said a source familiar with the argument."

Some other articles from Axios:

And one from the same person that wrote the one in OP:

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles."

RuleoVicus 65 points ago +66 / -1

This is an Axios hit piece to make Peter look angry & unhinged.

"According to a source familiar with the coronavirus task force"

Right there... fuck this article.

Peter's right though.

VaPnut 34 points ago +34 / -0

I want Peter Navarro and the rest of President Trump's Wolverines to look angry and unhinged in the face of this attack against our American way of life.

Wheredidiputit 12 points ago +12 / -0

THank you. I said the same shit just now.

elephant_nuts 10 points ago +10 / -0

They made Jared look good though. “Peter, take yes for an answer”, is boss level shit.

Chopblock 5 points ago +5 / -0

The term “explodes” is a fake news dead giveaway.

Two guys said things at a meeting.

raver9876 34 points ago +34 / -0

▲ 1 ▼ A control group-placebo study was done on hydroxycholoquine. Link is below.

We need to do an investigation of “crimes against humanity” for anyone suppressing effective medication.

Smurfection 29 points ago +29 / -0

That's it. Fauci is deliberately being obstinate and I've lost all respect for him. Thank you, VP Pence, Navarro and Jared Kushner!

Vegans4Trump 10 points ago +10 / -0

He needs to go. He does not have the public's best interest in mind. Look at his connections to the Bill & Melinda gates foundation, the DNC, big pharma, and most of all.. CHINA.

OhLollyLollyPop 3 points ago +3 / -0

The pharma industry and Bill Gates don't make money on a cheap, generic drug.

Count_Dyscalculia 24 points ago +24 / -0

Trump needs less people who try to get the "Peter Navarro's" to sit down and MORE Peter's in his 'inner circle'. Anyone who's been involved with Clinton, Bush Jr. or Obama should immediately be suspect and considered to have ulterior motives.

You can't fight anything "by committee" and too many of his people worry about political and career considerations as opposed to stopping this thing. Who's basking in the spotlight and getting all the attention they believe they finally deserve? That's right. They've got a vested interest in keeping this going.

One side wants to Slay the Dragon then wave to the crowd and move on to the next thing.

The other side wants to Keep the Dragon at Bay and set up a massive defensive system to keep it out as best possible with them being in charge of it of course and having it last forever giving them Jobs, Rank, Position & Status!

Sumarongi 6 points ago +6 / -0 (edited)

I think GEOTUS understandS. He has to smoke out the cockroaches first in order to defeat the fake media narrative, or else he’s going to get accused of killing grandma for the economy

Ariztocrat 2 points ago +2 / -0

He's going to be fucking accused of that anyway.

Sumarongi 2 points ago +2 / -0

True. I look at this in the same way as his relationship w/Comey

TheProfessor 18 points ago +19 / -1

Remember, Fedichini”s life depends on this being a big thing. Him, and his Bill Gates buddy need this to be a big thing for a longer time so they get to finish their ’vaccine’ and charge the US taxpayers $1000 a dose.

Remember, we went through this in the 1970’s and the vaccine was so bad they impacted flue shot opinions for decades, oh, and don’t forget the crippling side effects!

skyhawk 8 points ago +9 / -1

That’ll just be the copay per person if Gates is involved

Work2gethrBiglyOrDie 4 points ago +5 / -1

Bill already has the "vaccine" ready, but remember that this virus mutates so quickly that it's useless. So why is he pushing vaccines so hard other than for financial gain 🤔

victorywin 1 point ago +2 / -1

it doesn't mutate

OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

There are at least 8 mutations identified so far. There are two main knes: one is less infectious and lethat and one is very much more infectious. Then, there are different ines, mostly in Europe.

Work2gethrBiglyOrDie 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's based on the cold virus and that mutates which is why there's no vaccine.

victorywin 2 points ago +2 / -0

DR. BIRX: So, that’s a great question and a very smart question. Because it’s an RNA virus, it can mutate and it constantly mutates. But what has been pretty good about the coronaviruses in general is they keep their structural pieces very similar. What do I mean by that? There’s certain — the outer coat, the envelope, and the inside part of the virus has stayed very constant. It’s even very similar to SARs, which we haven’t seen since 2003.

And so, we — what has been picked for sites, both for the vaccine and for monoclonal antibodies, are very much those constant sites. And we believe that anybody who becomes positive and makes effective antibody — because there are some people who can’t make as good of antibody as others — but if you make effective antibody, you shouldn’t get re-infected.

Diana 14 points ago +14 / -0

Fauci won't give his stamp of approval for anything until it's passed Phase IV trials (after going thru phases 0 to 3) and even then phase 4 can take YEARS:

Phase IV clinical trials happen after the FDA has approved medication. This phase involves thousands of participants and can last for many years.

By the time Fauci gives his okay most of us would have already contracted the virus and developed our own immunity to it.

Wheredidiputit 14 points ago +15 / -1

"According to a source." This is all masturbatory bullshit.

Scroon 7 points ago +9 / -2

Unless we have a video or transcript of exactly what was said, I will remain EXTREMELY skeptical about how this article portrays the conversation.

I've been seeing misrepresentation all over the place regarding task force interactions. If there's vid available for anything like this, do yourself a favor and spend 5 minutes finding the actual source and form your own opinion of what and how things were said.

I mean look at the title of this post. It's dumping opinion in the exact same way we accuse the left of doing.

dataonly 6 points ago +6 / -0

Allowing Fauci to make decisions which destroy the economy is akin to a major airliner manufacturer allowing accountants to design its latest mid market passenger jet.

GernBlanston1 6 points ago +6 / -0

I was shocked to learn Fauci has been in his position since 1984! Time to fucking move on already!!

OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

And the CDC was totally unorepared and couldn't do things because of regulations, but Fauci spends most of his days on TV interviews.

BlackFlag 0 points ago +1 / -1

I keep hearing people praise his work on the HIV epidemic..... So, is he the fucker responsible for scaring heterosexual men into using condoms to prevent a disease they will never catch? Fuck this guy, condoms suck, and don't protect you from any diseases anyway.

Dr Falsy

AnotherPedeInTheWall 3 points ago +3 / -0

I kind of wish Fauci would have been stupid enough to oppose the ban. Quicker we could be rid of his pessimistic ass.

idm03 3 points ago +3 / -0

The doubters are instituting recommendations on the notion that the virus must be cured, when the use of this drug is meant to address symptoms and should not be subject to such rigor.

Vegans4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

philnmdg 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fauci is acting more and more like deep state. I'll bet if he got sick, he'd be the first one to take the hydroxycloroquine.

johnrambo 2 points ago +2 / -0

"In cases of ventilator shortages, all countries but China said the top criteria should be patients with the best chance of recovery (47%), followed by patients with the highest risk of death (21%), and then first responders (15%)."

WTF is that?

God bless Peter Navarro!

Arwyn3x 2 points ago +2 / -0

God Bless Peter Navarro, I liked him the moment I saw him. Good to know my internal compus will still point to authentic people - Patriot.

One of the side benefits of President Trump's presidency is we are getting to know so many wonderful people who are not Fauci or Fauci-isk.

OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

Why do people keep climbing the 6,000 doctors from across the world said this was the best course of treatment when the very bottom of this article specifically states with sources that only "Meanwhile, 37% of 6,227 doctors across 30 countries felt the drug was the "most effective therapy" out of 15 options in treating coronavirus, according to a poll reported by the Washington Times."

I'm not trying to argue here I just don't understand how these discrepancies happen so quickly and then get spread like wildfire.. 37% of 6000 is a hell of a lot different than 6,000...

I mean, we wouldn't consider our President's approval rating very good if it was only 37%....

but like the President said, the choice to use this drug should be between doctor and patient.

cluckingducks 6 points ago +6 / -0

I would rate 37% saying that it/he is the best option out of 15 choices pretty damn good.

ShiffsDeadHooker 4 points ago +4 / -0

Even if a doctor doesn't think it's the most effective, they can still say that's it's effective.

hello123456 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because the 63% did not actually disagree they were just noncommittal which is understandable this early on. Beause if they did actually oppose the treatment the story would be plastered across the entire mainstream news continuously all day every day

Forthelead 0 points ago +1 / -1

Name your sources or it didn't happen.

victorywin 0 points ago +1 / -1

what kind of "source" can be in the task force meeting?

We tend to like the story, but let's treat it as fake news.
