Ready for some shocking (maybe not) entertainment? One of the hospitals featured on the news that is in NYC and is OVERWHELMED is NY Presbyterian in the burough of Queens. It has been featured on national media.

Here's your entertainment/homework assignment: Go to google streetview for the address of the hospital:

56-45 Main Street, Flushing, NY 11355

https://www.google.com/maps/place/56-45+Main+St,+Queens,+NY+11355/@40.7471238,-73.8275542,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x89c2606ea6fbfbd9:0xa3ec5195d0f041ac!8m2!3d40.7471198!4d-73.8253655

Then use streetview to "drive" south on main street. Let me know if you can read ANY of the signs for the shops and stores along that street.

Guess what language they are in? It's all Chinese. Every single store.

Have you hear that part of the news? No? I wonder why not. Why has this not been reported.

It has been now. We are the news. Keep up the work.

Been saying this from day one... bet it's mostly asians yet they won't tell us any stats on race

residue69 20 points ago

No data about race from Italy either.

It's literally retarded how you get called racist for not wanting to visit a Chinese restaraunt or any other Chinese operated business.

The Chinese are infamous for always travelling. I guarantee the local chinese food place down the street has at least one person or an immediate family member that has travelled to China and back within the past six months.

Monterrey Park east of LA is Chinese, I wonder what their stats look like. Regardless of origination these bugs make their way around the world and will spread to all communities over time. That said, Trump was right again

Breakdown of cases in NYC from a few days ago:

Racial dot map of the Queens area:

Google map for reference:

I see a lot of red dots . . .

Intuition would tell you, Manhattan would be the hardest hit because it's probably the highest density area in NYC. But Queens is beating it quite a bit.

well not every single store. I did see some English but i get your point

RussianLimbaugh 9 points ago

Well, yeah... It’s China Town. During the Chinese New Year, there were a lot of parades & events going on in China Town. People from all over NY go there to experience their New Year. It makes sense that people living around where the hub of activity was become a concentrated number of cases.

I see that one strip mall that has Viet, Korean and Chinese deli's.. But otherwise looks like a nice little area of town. Not objecting to your assertion that this Hospital is overwhelmed due to the Chinese population in this area - because I really don't know what this area demographics are like. But I really hope you aren't going off of just google-mapping around the block and seeing some foreign writing.. Because you are going to get that in any major city.

Bigwhistle 3 points ago

Flu-shing as we know it. The old Booth Memorial Hospital. There once was a time when English was spoken there.

If you put on your tin foil hat and watch the David Wilcock video he put out on YouTube back on 23 Mar 2020, he states it was a virus created to target Asian males. He says that genetically, they have more receptors in their lungs for this type of virus and about 50% of males in China 15-years-old and older smoke which weakens their lungs even further. Obviously, that's not to say others can't get it but that Asians are more susceptible. That kind of peaked my interest because I had read somewhere, a few weeks ago, that deaths in Germany were abnormally low compared to all other countries and some were speculating it might have something to do with genetics. I'm including a link to the David Wilcock video. I'm sorry but it's a 5+ hour video and I can't remember the section where he talks about the China Virus attacking Asians harder.

I'm certain genetics plays a part with viruses. so it's possible.

your news is that chinatowns exist?

NY is also a ton of Italians. More news at 6

Adding OP doesn't know the difference between Taiwanese, Vietnamese and Chinese.

21
phibetared [S] 21 points ago

No. My news is that the main overwhelmed hospital is smack in the middle of a chinese area - and this is not being reported at all. My speculation is that the rampant illegal immigrant population of NYC brought in the virus - and that is where the majority of the cases are located. That is news, if true.

-5
RussianLimbaugh -5 points ago

I’m sorry, but this isn’t news. Chinese New Year celebrations explain the mass number of infections and the location. People from all over went to China Town for Chinese New Year. Anyone who lives/works around China Town would have been exposed to the crowds. It’s just like how NoLa is getting hit right now- because of Mardi Gras.

-22
Cantshadowbanthemall -22 points ago

Italy has 3x the death rate the US has.

NY has a fuck ton of Italians

Chinese people all started to shelter in place when China said to do so for a month, that was about January.

Why? Because they think China was lying about the numbers and severity. That is why in Jan you couldn't buy ramen anywhere. Chinese people here were scared about what China wasn't telling them. They are all well aware in China you get disappeared.

Quit being a racist.

14
BathouseBarry 14 points ago

Not racist.

It's also the China Virus. Makes sense.

-1
Cantshadowbanthemall -1 points ago

Those bastards created the virus and it needs to remain China's Flu. 100%

Ignoring all those people who traveled to Italy and blaming those who stayed inside because they speak a similar language (how many are Taiwanese and speak Cantonese?) is racist.

-14
kesquare2 -14 points ago

It actually is pretty racist to think being Chinese means you have COVID despite not having visited China.

9
Duderufuckinkidding 9 points ago

I’m reasonably certain that you’ve missed a crucial point.

-7
kesquare2 -7 points ago

Which is?

9
AllahFubar 9 points ago

Italy has 3x the death rate the US has.

Not trying to be argumentative... but the outbreak in northern Italy has a large factor from the textile/fashion industry tied to Wuhan. I'm not blaming the Chinese people (I do blame China however), just pointing out the direct connections with travel and industry in relation to China is a major factor.

6
residue69 6 points ago

I've seen estimates of 100,000 to 321,000 plus unknown #s of illegal Chinese in Northern Italy.

6
honeymussie 6 points ago

Is that why China had to weld people into their apartments, because they were all complying so well? And why Chuck Schumer was marching through a big crowd in China town on 02/09 for the new year? They were so scared they kept gathering in big groups until the government forced them to stop in March?

2
Cantshadowbanthemall 2 points ago

Those signs aren't simplified Chinese which means those are Cantonese speakers you moron. They are from Taiwan. Taiwan as in not China. Taiwan as in closed their border to China and had like 4 cases total Taiwan.

4
thingaboutarsenal 4 points ago

Taiwan does use traditional characters, but they speak Mandarin, not Cantonese.

4
PresidentDonaldTrump 4 points ago

Dude... hundreds of millions speak Cantonese in mainland China, mostly the south.....

Ramen is japanese...

6
Cantshadowbanthemall 6 points ago

Ever been to a chinese / korean grocery? All those packaged noodles are called ramen as a generic, not specific to the Japanese Style. Manchin Top Ramen is made in china, eaten by chinese people.

3
kesquare2 3 points ago

Nice guess... but you are completely wrong.

Nissin (Top Ramen):

"Here in the U.S., we have two manufacturing facilities: Gardena, California, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania."

Maruchan:

"In 1972, Toyo Suisan entered the American market with Maruchan USA, and in 1977, established a plant in Irvine, California. Maruchan has other plants in Richmond, Virginia, and one in Bexar County, Texas. Maruchan produces over 3.6 billion packages of ramennoodle soup a year."

1
Cantshadowbanthemall 1 point ago

Wrong only on the brands, like i said go in the store, look around... well not now, the shelves are empty but in like 6 months, or just ask for Ramen noodles and look at the empty shelves tags. Some may be in english, most are in chinese not japanese unless of course you go to a japanese market. At any rate, you are missing the point.

Of course it is produced here. Why would you pay to ship such bulk so far? Its is a deep fried noodle. Not hard to make in the US for cheap. No import taxes or legalities to jump through if you mass produce. Smaller brands can get under tariff limitations.

1
kesquare2 1 point ago

Yep I misread your point.

I thought you were saying no ramen because we couldnt import from China.

All the ramen is gone where I am too. No chinese people live here.

Its because its cheap...

2
Kolob 2 points ago

Facts are not racist. Italy also has a high Chinese population. If a virus originates in China it is more likely to spread through areas where Chinese travel first. If it originated here it would have spread from Americans first.
