Open your fucking states back up. Stop fear mongering. Get everyones ass back to fucking work and make America great again.

Sincerely,

Every fucking one.

yeah but we have to act like it is literally the end of civilization so that we can get that sweet federal disaster money

if we have to sacrifice the businesses and livelihoods of our citizens, then so be it.

I don’t see how they can enforce anything like that without laws defining the punishment etc, but I’ll be damned if I’m not allowed to go outside on my property whenever I damn well please.

I be trying to tell people we're basically in low-key martial law, it's not MARTIAL LAW martial law but it's pretty much martial law lol.

Hah, lets see them run a fact check with that order against the 1st Amendment! You need to tell them they are acting in a seditious manner against the Supreme Law of the Land.

Here in WA, I've been visiting Home Depot and Lowe's every day. Apparently they are considered essential. Lot of honey-dos are getting checked off.

But yes, I sense that we are very close to boiling over.

12
fat50 12 points ago

So go outside. Civil disobedience is a thing. This is one thing us liberals are good at.

Fight the power!

Go outside!

Nobody will arrest you.

I've been ignoring the whole "stay at home" bullshit since the start here in N.Y.

I'm a self employed carpenter, so not "essential" AFAIK, but I need to work. If I don't work, I lose customers.

3

In WA also... significant other works in what’s deemed essential service. He said the freeway was busier this morning than the last few days. Bizarre.

11

It's all those pot shops and abortion clinics that are considered essential.

9

WA actually shut down parks and recreation areas so you cannot even go for a walk. They shut down fishing. Like you could fish within 6 feet of someone if you wanted to. What the heck?

6

ok shutting down fishing is a bit ridiculous.

Well, they love sacrifices. They hold them often.

55
PraiseBeToScience 55 points ago

All the traitor shitlibs on Plebbit right now are saying "THE ENTIRE US ECONOMY IS NOT WORTH MORE THAN EVEN ONE SINGLE LIFE!"

These are the same faggots who, when arguing why guns should be banned, say "Cars are legal despite their death toll because they're required for the economy."

23
somenobody 23 points ago

They also think you should kill anyone "the rich" ie anyone who reminds them of their dad who yelled at them that one time because they wouldn't get out of bed in time for church. Hollywood, Wall Street, Silicone Valley, that place in upstate New York that gets like 75% of the state's welfare despite being a six figure average income county and half of Capitol Hill get a free pass though.

19
CollusionsofGrandeur 19 points ago

They're also the same faggots who support late term abortion.

14

14
grapenuts 14 points ago

Being born is the number 1 cause of death. No more babies - its not worth even one life!

But seriously, people die from literally everything. What a retarded argument.

14
ChuckedBeef 14 points ago

Fucking idiots! What do they think the death toll would be if the entire economy crashed? People shooting each other in the street, fighting for precious resources as their money no longer holds any value and all of the banks and credit companies have closed anyway. People going on murder sprees, looting, rioting, just because "fuck it" it's the end of the world as they see it. Suicides spike, children starving, supply lines have stopped, police are gone, and snowflakes like those idiots on Reddit are the first to succumb.

Yeah, but we saved a few people from the Kung Flu so it's all worth it. /s

The economy isn't just about wealth it's about survival. The system we have built is fragile and if it collapses most people are fucked.

4
God_Family_MAGA 4 points ago

I don’t know why they don’t understand that if the economy dies we all die. No one wants grandma to die, but you’re going to end up killing her anyways Libtards!

3
ProdigalPlaneswalker 3 points ago

why they don’t understand

Too much feminist dance theory and gender bender basket weaving studies instead of learning about how the real world operates.

12
hollow_fang 12 points ago

Yet none of them know the impact that shutting down the economy that long is going to have. People are going to die if we do completely tear down the economy for this virus. Suicides will claim far more lives than the virus could ever hope to at that point. To say nothing of the mental health effects that it’ll have.

But of course the governors will still tell us that this is all in the name of our health and safety. And leftists love being controlled so of course they want this to go on for several more months.

2
God_Family_MAGA 2 points ago

Amen! It’s better for everyone if we can all be calm and selfless. There’s a greater good.

1
PraiseBeToScience 1 point ago

8
CollusionsofGrandeur 8 points ago

I hope Greg Abbott gets the same message and takes the decision out of the local officials' hands and opens things back up. He was doing right by not wanting to mandate a statewide lockdown because there are a fuck ton of counties across Texas with few to no cases, but the main cities are all democrat run and all of them have these bullshit "shelter in place" mandates.

5
Rugar22 5 points ago

I hope Trump gives the big middle finger to Governor Coonman here in Virginia and forces him to open back up. Just keep Northern Virginia on lockdown for a little longer.

8

1
2020magavision 1 point ago

Your timeline needs adjusting. Much of what you wrote has already happened.

Some of this is theory, and some of it is fact, but China is already broke from a real estate and banking crisis fueled by corruption and failed communist planning. The trade war was just Trump finishing the job.

Xi also has an ongoing rebellion in his party. He needed deep cover to conduct a purge. You can't just kill millions like in the days of Mao. SARS2.0 gave him that plus he got rid of a huge chunk of unhealthy older people. The fact that it's spread is part of WW3.

He will, or already has been, paid and he's using that to shore up his economy. Ironically, we're probably getting some of that money with that huge grain order they placed.

Good times!

1
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 1 point ago

As someone from CA, this is a good thing.

One, I dont get sick (asthmatic and comes from a family of asthmatics, if people say go work and if you get sick you'd be fine...go minecraft yourself I have a family I'm trying to grow. Cant afford for some illegal to walk around with the virus and get me ill). Two its generating something that this state hasnt seen since Reagan suppressed the Republican vote with his signature immigration bill in 1986. Three... there'd be a surge in people buying life policies and prepping for the next one. Four, I'm pretty used to staying home for work (home office), I do a lot of jogging so I dont have to worry about how shitty traffic. Five...this state may flip read for the majority because of how horribly the city and state governments botched this.

62
sustainable_saltmine 62 points ago

Problem is, he could say that by next weekend the worst has cleared, even be right about it and these overzealous governors will still mandate their own lockdowns on their own authority just to say he's being "too optimistic" and keep trying to blame him for the bad economy that they are stifling in their own states.

He's made this state (WA) one of the biggest laughingstocks in the Union.

51
FitOfficial 51 points ago

Real talk, this man identified early on that this virus would be used as a cudgel to attack him. If twenty people died it would be a national emergency and all his fault; 24/7 nonstop media coverage.

He not only prepared us for future deadly pandemics (because let's face it... this one isn't "dire" in the sense of a Spanish Flu) by re-shaping our current testing processes and distribution pipelines, but he's totally turned the tables on those seeking to harm him politically by handling the crisis undeniably well and funneling a huge chunk of money from the government back into the citizens' hands as well as small and large businesses.

I'm honestly impressed with how he's still navigating the swamp seemingly with such ease. At this point he's a fucking sentient fan-boat as far as I'm concerned.

11
donald_zuramp 11 points ago

This whole experience has got me really anxious and agitated.

Yeah we knew it'd be used against him politically. We knew that liberals would cry "how dare you" when accused of politicizing it exactly how we knew they would. We knew they'd attack him for mistakes, and they'd attack him for when he got things right, and then they'd use their cronies in the media to whitewash everything the left got wrong.

But what bothers me the most is the vicious assault this is taking place on people's grip on reality.

Bottom line is, for the overwhelming majority of us, we are living through a "War of the Worlds" sort of scenario. Where, we, sitting at home, are listening to the media tell us the world is going to absolute hell in a handbasket, but from the comfort of our homes it all seems pretty much the same. Sun is shining, people are walking their dogs, just nobody is eating at restaurants or going to school or work.

So cut off from the outside and social world, we're getting all our information from the media.

And depending on which sources you turn to right now, your perception of "reality" is probably radically different from the person across the street from you.

And the culture that the media has fostered since Trump became president is so incredibly divisive and toxic. They have divided the country like never before since the civil war. They've convinced their listeners that Trump is to blame, one man, to blame for all that is wrong. And of course Trump supporters, we blame the media.

It's deteriorated so badly that a conservative and a liberal can not even come to an agreement on what is factually true anymore. Everything has been subverted and every person's reality is a subjective one. And yet, almost everyone speaks with a certainty of knowledge like never before.

This crisis is only going to get worse unfortunately. I hate to break the circle jerk, but I have friends in healthcare including MDs, and Chloroquinine is not a miracle. I'm not saying it doesn't work, I'm saying just be optimistic but not certain. We're in dangerous waters and if we make decisions under the assumption that it definitively works, and it doesn't, we've made the problem a lot worse if it causes us to relax our vigil thinking we have a cure.

At the same time, Trump is absolutely right, in that if we commit economic suicide, the human cost of that will eclipse the virus very quickly. Have no doubt of it. The economy is life. It's not just "money".

I suspect that we are going to see the administration butt heads hard with some state governors when Trump does make the call to "go back to work". Eventually, he is going to have to decide, based on feedback from his team, when the risk has tipped in the other direction, and the toll it's taking on us to stay shut in is worse than the virus. It will just be a time he will end up choosing, and you will have people who say it's too soon, and people who have already been screaming it's been too long. And of course, everyone is convinced of their own certainty. States will likely defy his orders. I hope it doesn't get ugly.

9
JesusisKing 9 points ago

Don't be so negative, prepare as if that is the case, but have faith that this will be another overreaction.

8
Vellicho 8 points ago

Bottom line is, for the overwhelming majority of us, we are living through a "War of the Worlds" sort of scenario. Where, we, sitting at home, are listening to the media tell us the world is going to absolute hell in a handbasket, but from the comfort of our homes it all seems pretty much the same. Sun is shining, people are walking their dogs, just nobody is eating at restaurants or going to school or work.

This. So much this. You turn on the a news outlet to pandemonium; go outside and all is well on your street. It's gaslighting in the worst way. I just moved here in October and I'm legitimately worried about what my neighbors will do because of the perception of where we are as a nation. The virus? Sure, I could get sick. But I have fuel, food, water, and shelter and no idea how much anyone else has or what they will be willing to do to acquire mine. While that might sound extreme, people are eating fish tank cleaner hoping for a cure to a disease they don't have, and the loudest voices are holding the spokesperson for the accumulated medical efforts directly responsible - so we're at an all-time low on common sense.

At the same time, Trump is absolutely right, in that if we commit economic suicide, the human cost of that will eclipse the virus very quickly. Have no doubt of it. The economy is life. It's not just "money".

And this is the other thing. How do people NOT understand this? We can print all the money in the world, but you still need to maintain a balance of production and consumption like any other living being.

And the fact that I haven't left my house is a week just leaves me alone with my thoughts, lol. Ok - rant over.

I was on melrose today and it was empty. Felt like the 90s again. I feel like CA would be like this everyday if the roads werent clogged with illegals

17
SirSeizureSalad 17 points ago

I keep telling my Cali friends that they'd have plenty of TP and supplies if there weren't 20 million illegals hoarding it all with taxpayer money.

They really find it witty and amusing, and love every time I say it.

Are you old enough to remember commuting to school or work on "The day without a Mexican"? I think it was in 2004 or thereabouts. It was so very lovely. Smooth sailing all the way.

5
DragQueenTruckDrag 5 points ago

Im sick of them. They do half assed work, clog the freeways, drain our welfare, pack affordable housing to the brim, raise crime. My insurance rate went down when i changed my address to a white neighborhood address. What does that tell you? Sick of hearing spanish everywhere, sick of them getting preferential treatment in schools and education.

3

they did that? KEK, ive never heard about this. Hilarious.

They did. It was glorious.

A good CEO provides vision and hope in a sea of uncertainty and doubt.

I am tired of people saying this will kill millions and we are already dead. What message is that? That we will just roll over, give up, and die?

Fuck no, not in my America. Taking “lessons” from countries like Italy whose GPD is almost half of what our entire Health Care systems is worth is completely pointless. Of course tons of people are dying over there. I hate to say it, but we have smarter, brighter and more dedicated people who will squash this like the bug it is. We also have the best PRIVATE sector (GM, Tesla, Honeywell, ect) who are stepping up big time.

God bless America. They fucked around and awoke a sleeping giant (To quote a famous Japanese Commander)

17

So can we go back to work next week? This quarantine thing is getting old.

15
Joeyc1 15 points ago

I think most people should be able to return from work pretty soon except for Cali/NYC, especially if that treatment is as good as it seems to be

10
YaBoiJacob53 10 points ago

In my state we have 41 cases and 16 of those have recovered even without the chloroquine so here's hoping

3
AslanFan 3 points ago

And statistically, at least 24.5 of the others will recover soon.

14
chuckachookah 14 points ago

Surely this will be used as "evidence" by the Coronapeachment oversight committee (authorized in the current bill) headed our way by [checks calendar] early September, just in time for the general election.

If there was ever a time for the Line Item Veto, this would be it. GEOTUS is likely to sign the bill that will empower a committee of Democrats to abuse their power and declared intentions of the oversight committee to pursue yet another phony Hoax 'peachment.

Guaranteed.

He’ll call everyone back to work, some residual deaths from the virus will unfortunately occur, and he’ll be put on absolute blast from every D and all of the known RINOs(and some sleepers) for being a murderer. Peach mints will go according to their plans this time. Pattern recognition is easy.

Thats actually worse. It would be better if people were getting it, and getting over it at a pace your system can handle. If nobody gets it, then everyone is off quarantine at once, you didn't solve the problem, just delayed it.

I am home schooling my kids. two of them are really into history, so I decided we would do American History/Civics this summer, start to finish. I just so happened to have a nice HS/Coll textbbok from 1986, and I thought "Surely this is far enough back on the timeline that the commies haven't infested it."

HA! WRONG. WRONGWRONGWRONG. It is absolutely dripping with communism.

11
Ackshually 11 points ago *

You have a monkey-see-monkey-do situation with a lot of the governers and big city mayors right now. They all went from ”close the schools” to mandatory quarantine to “stay at home order” together. It wasn’t logic or good policy but perceptions that caused them to make all these restrictions. Once someone does it, you follow or risk looking weak.

Now constituents are absolutely mortified thanks to the media, and no leader wants to be the first to lift restrictions. Luckily we have Trump running the show. Any other leader would be too afraid to speak out against this groupthink because of the same perception problem.

4

WTF is "robust surveillance testing, which will allow us to monitor the spread of the virus throughout the country"?

6
napoleon4321 6 points ago

Surveillance of testing results by county to track and respond quickly to possible emerging clusters.

2
fluffdawg 2 points ago

thank goodness this is NOT the intrusive and Un-Consitutional version of "surveillance testing" that the South Korean government inflicted on its citizens mobile-phones/computers. It was effective but it was very Anti-American in process...

2

The balance of freedom and security. Risks are greater with more freedom, but so are the potential rewards.

Yeah, surveillance is an interesting word choice.

Maybe he wants to remind them that he's got EYES ON.

6

5

Every state that experienced a shut down better vote their governor out of office.

1
thisisatestof2 1 point ago

Most are Dem states. In CT the last two races the Rep candidate was winning until "issues" arose in the largest cites and somehow enough votes appear. Strange.

5
siliconia 5 points ago

The democrats are going to try to purposefully inflate the numbers to try and make the situation look as bad as possible, in the hopes that it makes Trump look bad. You can already see the numbers starting to inflate. At first I thought it was so that they could all get some of that sweet relief money, but I think it's a two fold plan.

4
AslanFan 4 points ago

This site aggregates all local county health department data. If a local health organization inflates their numbers, there should be extreme and immediate penalty. I'm pretty sure that's why the "surveillance" phrase.

https://covidtracking.com/us-daily/

2
siliconia 2 points ago

I was using another site that showed the increase per day, and there was an obvious increase in the milder states in the last 2 days. That does appear to be the case, but looking through them it seems there's various reasons from more tests, to suddenly listing hospitalizations, etc.

I don't think that they're going to make stuff up, but rather go from not testing to testing as many as possible.

1
AslanFan 1 point ago

Yes. Have been tracking since 3/11 and the increased testing is apparent.

However, what I've noticed is more and more distancing between tracking sites.

The one Fox uses--Johns Hopkins--is total SHITE, IMO. It is the one I think must be under the DS influence--oddly, because I would have thought the CDC site would be. They use it because it paints the most horrific picture.

However, there is a variance of about 30% now between it and the CDC site for total cases and deaths.

Impossible to know what the real story is, so I'm thinking that the COVIDTracking.com site, which is fed only from local sources, is the most sound.

2
Joesf23 2 points ago

This is why cuomo was all pissy this morning about not getting of dough in the relief bill. Once the blue states realize they will be on the hook for over reaching and shutting everything down, they will open shit up right away and just lock down the big cities

5

Don't forget everyone... as free citizens of the United States, we have the innate inalienable right protected by the 1st Amendment to peaceably assemble. To deny this right is sedition. To attempt to curtail it is sedition. Governor's can recommend and demand all they want.. the Constitution still stands unrepealed.

Have an upvote because I completely agree regarding your concern regarding 'medical tyranny'. In fact, you might have saw this but here's where I think the real "invisible enemy" and war is - https://nationalfile.com/president-trump-vs-bill-gates-on-treatment-fauci-has-a-100-million-conflict-of-interest/

But, I don't agree Trump fucked up. Here's my position - Trump always plays rope-a-dope (look weak when strong). He lures his enemies out in the open so we the netizens have time to catch on, get the data, analyze and spread truth. Fauci is now under the microscope and we're gonna find out how infected he really is!

I was posting last week that I wanted Martial Law. I hate that idea!! But the Governors are dead set on destroying the economy and I trust Trump to institute Martial Law responsibly. However, he deeply respects States rights and I was very happy to see that he wrote, "we pledge to marshal every resource and power."

He was sending a shot over the bow of the traitorous and weak willed governors looking to destroy us. Trump will NOT let that happen!

3
AslanFan 3 points ago

I can't agree. I think what happened really sucks, but I think there had to be some hard truths realized in order for many of the lefties to really understand how much their local governments have been screwing them.

I think POTUS has once again shown what a nimble navigator he is in the swamp that has no end.

2

POTUS' message has been:

Local execution

State management

Federal support

So people who are in failing local governments like SanFran, LA, and NYC should be looking to their local leadership for failings instead of blaming the federal government.
