As pointed out on a previous post, Hantavirus is a well known virus contracted from the feces or urine of a rat when it is brushed into the air, and inhaled. It does not jump from human to human.

This is sensationalized fearmongering.

Hantavirus human to human transmission is extremely rare. Hantavirus cases are rare because it is difficult to get, you pretty much have to breath in mouse poop dust that contains it. This is a stupid nothing burger that I saw posted yesterday.

The human to human transmissions happened in Argentina right?

However, given the breeding ground that is China, I wouldn’t doubt that the virus could become human transmittable.
