Hello,

I am behind enemy lines in Commiefornia. I am a little worried that people will start looting soon. Most people here live pay check to paycheck. Rent alone is retardedly high and I am worried the longer this goes the more desperate people will get as the money runs lower and lower. Anyone else feeling this way?

This, if I were in LA, SF, SJ, would have been gone already.. Dealers are going to run out of drugs, tweakers are going to get violent when they can't get a fix, the usual suspects are going to take advantage of the coming chaos to rescue Nike's and Flatscreens from the virus. It is a matter of time, be ready to move quick if you have not already. LA Riots happened so quick, many innocent people were simply caught up in the shit and some died.

Glad to hear. This is a classic cost benefit analysis. What does it cost you to bug out now? Weigh what you lose against what you gain by staying.

That's not the whole evaluation. What do you gain by being north? Can you move out of your current place and not have to pay rent? That could help you stay afloat if this turns out to be a lot longer than originally anticipated. Which if you look at how this is spiralling out of control, may prove to be the case at least in some large hotspots.

You're the only one that can answer these questions. I would think your property has the advantage of being more isolated, and less likely to get infected. If you can work online that would add to that side of the equation.

Choose well! Not in a panic.
