Relevant quote from the article:

"All they did was swapped out a loser case [Flynn prosecution] for starting an investigation that is going to be of Comey, McCabe, Pete Strzok," Weissmann [lead Mueller prosecutor] told MSNBC host Chuck Todd.

well... on the one hand, if Weissman is not happy about it, then on the face that is a very good thing.

Will believe it when I see it.

Weissmann doesn't seem very happy about this...probably a good sign.

Well no one should doubt the credibility of this Andrew Weissmann guy. After all he's absolutely proven how "Honest" he is. But it's just like CNN to hire all the criminal rejects from the government to be the top legal minds of CNN.

"Andrew Weissmann, a former Justice Department official who was known as Mueller's "pit bull" during the Russia investigation, said the Justice Department swapped out the "loser case" of Andrew McCabe, who escaped criminal charges on Friday for allegedly lying to investigators about authorizing media disclosures, for a fresh one targeting top former FBI officials, including McCabe, led by Jeffrey Jensen, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri.

"All they did was swapped out a loser case for starting an investigation that is going to be of Comey, McCabe, Pete Strzok," Weissmann told MSNBC host Chuck Todd."

This is coming from the enemy.

Good. Can't expect the swamp to drain itself.

The joke is that a grand jury could indict a sandwich. How do you get them to indict any of these people when they are so partisan? I suspect that they couldn’t get a grand jury to indict McCabe despite him lying about it and admitting it.

Another "investigation" where the investigated are found not guilty despite having committed multiple crimes and then go on to sign book deals, retire off their go-fund-me accounts, collect their government pensions, portrayed as a hero by the Obama cabal, and then run for Congress after making millions as a CNN analyst. Justice served.
