On late Saturday evening (Feb. 1), Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker", showed confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (2019nCoV) in China as standing at 154,023, 10 times the official figure at the time. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808, four times the official figure.

Based on the chaos and the extreme measures being taken all over China, I'd say even these numbers seem low. Imagine how many people have been locked into their homes and apartments by now. Those people are fucked. They'll die of the virus or of starvation or other illness. Things wouldn't look this bad if it was just a couple hundred thousand affected.

Yep, there are videos on the net that show the Chinese authorities placing bars on doors and windows and locking people up.

Worse yet, the R0 rate of this 'devil' virus is very high and the infection rate has not even begun to dip.

But really we have no idea what the actual R0 or death rate is since we have no numbers. If it was just a few hundred they wouldn't be freaking out this much. If there were only a few dozen thousand infected they wouldn't freak out this way.

Even if China is lying about everything, consider this: Outside of Mainland China, there are 212 confirmed cases and 2 deaths.

"IF" the odds are probably 1 000 000 000-1 that the commies are telling the truth.
